age 61, of Armada, died March 31, 2001, at her home. Mrs. Schneider was owner and agent of Armada Insurance Agency, former agent for Gerlach Agency, Mount Clemens, and for Seed Roberts Agency, Birmingham. She served as secretary and board member of the Armada Civic Trade Association, and was a member of St. Mary Mystical Rose Catholic Church, Armada. She enjoyed many hobbies and travelling. She is survived by her husband, Frank; sons, Steve of Capac, Richard of Armada, Robert of Florida and Peter of Roseville; four grandchildren; sister, Barbara Milroth of St. Clair Shores; and brothers, Michael Tillinger of Austria and Nickolas Tillinger of Montana. Services were held in St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Bradley Forintos officiating. Burial was in Willow Grove cemetery, Richmond Township. Arrangements were made by Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, Armada. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association, Kidney Fund, or St. Joseph Hospice.

JOHN PFEIFFER
Age 68, of Chesterfield, died April 21, 2001. Mr. Pfeiffer was owner/operator of Jed Mold Inc. for 33 years, and served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Donna; and daughters, Marie Masters of Troy, and Susan Pfeiffer of Chesterfield. Services were held in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Croswell, with the Rev. Donald Dueweke officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery, Croswell. Arrangements were made by Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

CAROLINE A. MISZEWSKI
Age 38, of Port Sanilac, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died April 23, 2001. Ms. Miszewski is survived by her mother, Lucille of Wisconsin; brothers, Steven of Wisconsin, and Thomas of Lake Orion; sisters, Christine Cuellar of New Baltimore, Mary Ann Vancour of Chesterfield, and Phyllis Miszewski and Diane Valley, both of Wisconsin. She was predeceased by her father, Eugene. Services were held in St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, New Baltimore, with the Rev. Stephen Vileo officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, New Baltimore. Arrangements were made by Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore. Memorials may be made to Epilepsy Foundation, Southfield.

TIMOTHY JACOB SCHAD
Age 46, of Algonac, died April 21, 2001. Mr. Schad is survived by his daughter, Courtney of Fair Haven; mother, Violet-Marie Schad of Fair Haven; father, Ted Schad of Marlette; and many extended family members. Services were held in Gilbert Funeral Home, with the Rev. Barry Mueller of Christ Lutheran Church, New Baltimore, officiating. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.

HENRY KOLASINSKI
Age 85, of Columbus, died April 22, 2001. Mr. Kolasinski was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; son, Henry Jr. of Columbus; daughters, Nancy Nowicki of Kimball Township, Sally Copenhagen and Doris Klemm, both of St. Clair, Phyllis Ellison of Imlay City, and Anita Kolasinski of New Baltimore; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and brother, Richard of Richmond. He was predeceased by his daughter, Elaine. Services have been held. Arrangements were made by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond.

LYLE "BONZ" R. SNAY JR.
Age 40, of Marysville, died April 23, 2001. Mr. Snay was employed as a drywaller with Drywall Contractors of Michigan, and was a member of HOG. He is survived by his wife, Jeanine; daughter, Autumn; son, Brandon; stepson, Tyler Sommers; parents, Lyle Sr. and Darlene Snay of Lenox Township; grandmother, Olieva M. Lapham of Algonac; sisters, Hope McDermott of Clinton Township, Terry Abraham of Fair Haven, Rhonda Mehlhose of Harrison Township, and Gail Holder of Roscommon; brothers, Darryl of Clinton Township, and Robert Siewertsen of Armada; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his brothers, Alonzo Lionell and Jeffrey Snay. Services were held in Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, Mount Clemens, with the Rev. Sharon Grainger officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to Gift of Life Foundation.

EVELYN V. FASSNACHT
Age 94, of Marine City, died April 23, 2001. Ms. Fassnacht was employed by Ben Franklin and Foster's Drug Store in Marine City, and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy A. Shirkey and Helen Summerville, both of Marine City; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lloyd, Roy, Jimmy, and Bill Smith; and sisters, Edna Langell, Beatrice Sova, Hazel McKellar and Lillian Elsholtz. Services were held in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City, with the Rev. James R. Wysocki officiating. Cremation has taken place. Urn interment was in Woodlawn cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Activities Center or the Marine City United Methodist Church Bell Tower Fund.

MARY LOUISE BRANDEL
Age 75, of Richmond, died April 18, 2001. Mrs. Brandel was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Donald; son, David of Richmond; daughters, Donna Ringle and Denise Brandel, both of Richmond, and Diane White of Fraser; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and brother, Allen VanNuck of Florida. She was predeceased by her brother, James VanNuck. Services were held in St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. James Commyn officiating. Burial was in St. Michael cemetery, Richmond. Arrangements were made by Rewalt Funeral Home, Richmond.

GERALD ALFRED BAILEY
Age 52, of Armada Township, died April 19, 2001, at his home. Mr. Bailey was an assistant produce manager at Alward's Market, Washington, and loved working out in the yard. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; son, Robert; daughters, Sharilynn Gounarus, Carrie Ann Bailey, and Cinda Shevravich; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Linda Leitzel. He was predeceased by his parents. Services were held in Tiffany-Young and Hauss Funeral Home, Armada, with the Rev. Ray Wahl of Hillside Wesleyan Church, Clyde Township, officiating.

ARTHUR A. KUS
Age 76, of Memphis, died April 25, 2001. Mr. Kus was retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a poultry inspector for 33 years, and was a longtime area farmer. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, was past commander and chaplain for the Merrick-Potter Post, American Legion, Memphis, and was a member of VFW in Emmett, Disabled American Veterans, and Polish National Alliance. He is survived by his sons, Paul and Thomas, both of Memphis, and Arthur P. of Flushing; and one granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife, Maria; and brothers, Henry, Joseph, and Roman. Services were held in Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis, followed by Mass in All Saints Catholic Church, Memphis, with the Rev. Leo Broderick officiating. Burial was in St. Philip cemetery, Columbus Township. Memorials may be made to All Saints Church.

CLYDE L. WILKERSON
Age 67, of East China, died April 25, 2001. Mr. Wilkerson was owner/operator of Marine City Body Shop. He is survived by his wife, June; daughters, Leslie Kilpatrick of Smiths Creek, Gabrielle Casey of China Township, Kim Couch and Lynn Becker, both of East China, and June Spalding of St. Clair; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken of Colorado; and sister, Mary Szlzarski of Detroit. Services were held in Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair, with the Rev. Alan Schwieger officiating. Urn interment was in Woodlawn cemetery, Marine City. Arrangements were made by Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Memorials may be made to Cancer Society.

DONALD E. MORE
Age 79, of Algonac, died April 23, 2001. Mr. More was a retired Air Force pilot, serving in World War II. He is survived by many friends. Services were held in Don Graham Funeral Home, Detroit. Burial was in Oaklawn cemetery, Algonac.

RONNIE LEE "CHEROKEE" HIGHTOWER
Age 59, of Kimball Township, died April 26, 2001. Mr. Hightower was a pipefitter with Pipefitters Local 636, and was a member of the Blue Water Sportsmans Club. He is survived by his wife, LaVerne "Etta"; stepson, Steve Hayes of Illinois; stepdaughter, Cindy Bozarth of Illinois; two stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; father, Jules Hightower; sisters, Judy Hightower and Sherri Santanna; and several nieces and nephews. Services were held in Randall-Pollock Funeral Home, Port Huron, with the Rev. Scott Babin and the Rev. Bruce Sedwick of Sparlingville Wesleyan Church, officiating. Burial was in Lakeview cemetery, Pekin, Illinois, with military honors. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
