SHARON E. BADLEY-RUSS
Age 43, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, formerly of Marysville, died Oct. 2, 2003. Ms. Russ was a sixth grade teacher at Port Huron Central, taught at Michigamme Elementary and Chippewa Middle Schools. Prior to teaching she coached Marysville's cheerleading squads and worked at Sperry's department store. She participated in Girl Scouts, worked with the yearbook staff, swim team, theatre productions and Woodlands' students. Ms. Russ was a member of Phi Mu and served as a staff member of Ted Nugent's "Kamp for Kids". She is survived by her sister, Linda Baker of China Township; and extended family members. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Wilson. Services were held in Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Township, with the Rev. Thomas Badley of Port Huron, officiating. Burial was in Riverlawn cemetery, Marysville, Donations can be made to Blue Water Hospice or River Bend II Assisted Living.

IRENE POPLAWSKI
Age 93, of Houghton, formerly of St. Clair, died Sept. 21, 2003. Mrs. Poplawski was formerly employed by Murray Corporation in Detroit. She is survived by her son, David of Houghton; brother, Ray Kornacki of Grosse Pointe Shores; and a granddaughter. Mrs. Poplawski was predeceased by her husband, Adam; infant son, Harold; and a sister, Eleanor Snopkowski. Services were held in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Arrangements were made by L.C. Friederichs and Son Funeral Home, St. Clair. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery. Memorials can be made to The Omega House, Hancock, Michigan 49930 or the charity of donor's choice.

WALTER WOODROW TELLER
Age 85, of Marine City, died Sept. 29, 2003. Mr. Teller retired from Parton and Prebble Steel Fabricating where he worked in the maintenance department. He is survived by is sons, E.J. of Davison, Eldon of Chesterfield and Tim of Marine City; daughters, Deanna LaValley of Richmond and Jane Mosier of Imlay City; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Teller was predeceased by his wife, Loretta; son, Larry; brothers, Bud and Clarence; and a sister, Irene. Services were held in Christie-Olszewski Funeral Home, New Baltimore, with the Rev. William Pacey officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, New Baltimore.

DAISY F. MEEKER
Age 75, of Chesterfield, formerly of Algonac, died Sept. 30, 2003. Ms. Meeker is survived by her son, Richard; brothers, Robert and Bud; sister, Dena; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services were held in Algonac Baptist Church, with the Rev. Daniel Rhodes officiating. Arrangements were made by Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac. Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Michigan.

MARGARET L. GOETHALS
Age 85, of St. Clair, died Sept. 28, 2003. Mrs. Goethals was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid in St. Clair. She is survived by her husband, Gaston; daughters, Nancy Klenke and Elizabeth Gannon; sons, Richard, Frank and William; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Goethals was predeceased by two brothers, Services were held in Immanuel Lutheran Church, St. Clair. Arrangements were made by Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China. Burial was in Riverlawn cemetery, Marysville. Memorials can be made to Immanuel Ladies Aid.

HAROLD L. "STARKY" STARKWEATHER
Age 76, of Memphis, died Sept. 28, 2003. Mr. Starkweather was employed as a finish drywaller. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy, a life member of James Coleman VFW Post 6802 in Richmond, Gleason, Butler, Sharpe VFW Post 5585 in Emmett and also a member of Richmond Sportsmen's Club. He is survived by his wife, Leona; son, Ross of Mount Clemens; step-daughter, Ann Sebastian of Wales; and five grandchildren. Mr. Starkweather was predeceased by his sister, Helen Rapp; and a brother, Charles. Services were held din Kammeraad Funeral Home, Memphis, with the Rev. Janet M. Engler officiating. Burial was in Memphis cemetery. Memorials can be made to the heart or lung association.

HAROLD "TIMMIE" TIMMINS
Age 92, of Algonac, died Sept. 29, 2003. Mr. Timmins was a member and past president of Algonac Lions Club and past district governor 11D-2 of the Lions Club and member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Previous owner of Wallace Hardware of Algonac. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Sharon Northup; three grandsons; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members. Services were held in Gilbert Funeral Home, Algonac, with the Rev. Dennis Irish of Trinity United Methodist Church, Algonac, officiating.

NELLIE IONA KLIEMANN
Age 90, of Lake Marian, Illinois, formerly of Marine City, died Sept. 28, 2003. She is survived by her sons, Arthur, Dale and Bruce Hayden; step-children, Delores Redding, Mildred Everest, Lyndall Kliemann, Ann Woods and Rudolph Kliemann Jr.; sister, Ardith Parkinson; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kliemann was predeceased by her husband, Charles Hayden and second husband, Rudolph Kliemann; sons, Franklin and Raymond Hayden; brother, Francis Benedict; and four grandchildren. Services were held in Young Colonial Funeral Home, Marine City. Burial was in Hillside cemetery, St. Clair.

MORRIS C. YEZBICK
Age 79, of Chesterfield, died Sept. 27, 2003. Mr. Yezbick was a grocer for Charles Market in Detroit. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Mr. Yezbick is survived by his wife, Loretta; daughters, Eileen Wasmund of Sterling Heights, Monica Yezbick of Marine City, Amy Cushman of Oregon and Jeannie Brown of Utah; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Laurice Mondelak of Florida. He was predeceased by a son, Charles. Services were held in St. Mary Queen of Creation Church, New Baltimore, with the Rev. Nicholas Zukowski officiating. Arrangements were made by Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore.

GERALD RITCHEY
Age 66, of St. Clair Township, died Sept. 27, 2003. Mr. Ritchey was employed as a welder for the General Motors Company for 28 years, and was a member of the National Rifle Association, Bass Angler Sportsman Society, North American Hunter and the North American Fishermen. He is survived by his sons, Stephen "Mike" of AuGres and Timothy of Kimball; daughter, Sharron Klug of Capac; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Ritchey was predeceased by his son, Pete; two half brothers, James and Joseph Monroe; and stepbrother, George Monroe. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements were made by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home, Port Huron. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.

MABEL V. GOUGH
Age 91, of St. Clair, died Sept. 26, 2003. Mrs. Gough was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church, St. Clair, and was active with the Rainbow girls. She is survived by her son, Paul Simms of Wisconsin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Services were held in Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, East China Township. Memorials may be made to the St. Clair Fire Department, Faith Medical Care Center Activities Department or Lighthouse Hospice of Southfield.

SUZANNE MICHELE FURTON
Age 42, of Columbus, died Sept. 27, 2003. Mrs. Furton was a homemaker and foster mother, and was a member of Church of God, Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Guy; father and step-mother, Emerson and Barbara Fuller; daughters, Tanisha Fuller of Columbus, Tiffany Gnatiuk of New York, and Brianna Furton of Columbus; sons, Ryan Furton of New York, and Luke Furton and Leo Furton II, both of Columbus; brothers, Michael and Steven Fuller, both of Port Huron; sisters, Dawn Fuller and Paula Fuller, both of Port Huron; and several extended family members. She was predeceased by her mother, Barbara; sister, Gina Fuller; grandmother, Laura Magrath; and stepbrother, Kenneth Middleton. Services were held in Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, with the Rev. Larry Peuterbaugh, of Church of God, officiating. Memorials may be made to Suzanne's Children.

THOMAS W. IMHOFF
Age 62, of New Baltimore, died Sept. 28, 2003. Mr. Imhoff was retired as an aircraft mechanic. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Imhoff is survived by his wife, Janice; sisters, Loraine Mockus and Sandra Nason, both of Menominee, and Aleta Imhoff of Daggett; and brother, James of Wisconsin. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia. Services were held in Gendernalik Funeral Home, New Baltimore. Burial was in St. Mary cemetery, New Baltimore.
