Age 64, resident of Roseville for the last 18 years died September 18, 2005 in Detroit, Michigan. David was born February 27, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan.
Beloved husband of Susan for 21 years. Loving father of Jeffery (Katherine Ribant) of Fraser and Alex (Scott) Shier of Chesterfield. Proud and loving grandfather of Robert, Rachel, Reilly Shier. Dear brother of Ann (Peter) Giordano, Mark (the late Karen) and the late John (the late Darlene). He was a member of the U.S. Nation Guard and a lung transplant survivor (2004). Visitation Tuesday, 3-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday 10:30 a.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Pkwy. (16 Mile). Interment Resurrection cemetery. Donations preferred to the Gift of Life.

EDIE CARLISLE-MICHON
Age 59 of Richmond, Michigan died peacefully September 15, 2005 following a short battle with cancer. She was born January 15, 1946 in Windsor, Ontario the daughter of Joseph Brinley George and Dorothy May (Evans) George. Edie and James Michon were married July 26, 1997 in Clinton Township and moved to Richmond in 2002. She was a 1966 graduate of Grace Hospital School of Nursing in Windsor and worked as a Registered Nurse in several hospitals. She is a 1999 graduate of Wayne State University with a Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology. Edie was employed as a case manager for Concentra Intergrated Services and worked for Macomb County in nursing home assessment. She taught business communication and computers at Macomb County Community College, Warren campus. Surviving in addition to her husband, Jim, is a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn (Lake) and Darryl Hogan of Windsor, son Dave Lake of Toronto, step-son and fiancee Brian Michon and Robin Gearhart of IL and step-son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kim Michon of Royal Oak; grandchildren Samuel and Matthew Hogan and her brother Dave George of London, Ontario and nephew Ken George of Toronto. Visitation was held at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Burial was in Oldcastle, Ontario, Canada. Memorials are suggested to "Look good...Feel better" of American Cancer Society or Nature Conservancy.

GERALDINE F. CAREY
Age 76 of Richmond died Monday, September 12, 2005. She was born April 11, 1929 in Detroit to the late George and Kathleen (Alexander) Carey. After the death of her parents she resided in Manz Group Home from 1983 to 1999 when she moved to St. Joseph's Assisted Living Home. There she became referred to by the priests as "Angel" because of her caring and helpfulness. Gerry enjoyed photography and doing arts and crafts. She participated as a bowler in the Special Olympics several times, earning many gold and bronze medals of which she was very proud. She recently participated in the Medilodge Senior Olympics. Gerry was a loving sister and aunt who will be missed by her sister, Joan Smalley of Casco and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her siblings, George and Herbert Carey and Theresa Monaco. A funeral Mass was Saturday, Sept. 17 in St. Augustine Catholic Church in Richmond. Reverend Joseph Plawecki officiated. Inurnment will be in the St. Michael Columbarium. Funeral arrangements were handled by Rewalt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Richmond.

CAROLYN B. SCHEPKE
Age 29, of Columbus Township died Sunday, September 18, 2005 in Karmanos Cancer Center after a very brief illness. Carolyn was born June 19, 1976 in Farmington Township to Frank and Barbara (Duncan) Schepke. She graduated from Richmond HIgh School in 1994 and from Lake Superior State University in 1999. She was an avid NASCAR fan and follower of #8, Dale Earnhardt Jr. She was a clerical worker at Mercy Home Health Care in Port Huron. She is survived by her parents, Frank and Barbara Schepke of Columbus Township; brother, William (Becky Chapman) Channer of Wayne; nephew, William Channer Jr.; Aunt, Sharon Ducan and cousins, Kristin McCarthy, Robert, Michael and Charles Ducan and special friend, Rob Schffler. A funeral service will be on Thursday, September 22 at 11:30 a.m. in Rewalt Funeral Home in Richmond. Reverend Gerhardt Doroh will officiate. Visiting will be on Wednesday from 2:30 to 8:00 p.m.

MARDELLE "Mardy" MARINEAU POSHER
Age 47, of Phoenix AZ, formerly of Richmond, passed away suddenly September 12, 2005. Mardy was a Richmond High School student and 4-H Cub member. She is survived by her two loving daughters, Carrie June Higgins and Jessica Boucher Drury, both of Phoenix; 3 grandchildren, Destiny, Sierra and K.C.; her mother, Mary Marineau; siblings, Sharon (Phil) Tatum, MaryLou Sands, Kimberly Helm and James Marineau, of LasVegas NV, Barbara (Fred) Kitts, of Greentown IN, George Marineau and David (Cheri) Marineau, both of East China Township, Thomas J. (Gail) Marineau of St. Helen, MI. Preceded in death by her father, James P. Marineau. We will all miss her bubbly personality, smiling face, and heart warming laughter. May God take her into his arms and love her as we did!

MARY ANN V. BEAUVAIS
Age 92, of Lapeer died September 17, 2005. Mary Ann was born October 19, 1912 in Marine City. The daughter of the late David and Agnes Eber (Paquette). She enjoyed oil painting, gardening, bingo, and most of all spending time with her family. Mary Ann is survived by her daughter Mary Lou of Lapeer; sister Rosemary Clemons of Marine City; grandchildren, Victoria, Holly, Michael; great-grandchildren, Tracey, Christina, Jennifer; great-great-grandchildren, Eric, Sean, Jeffrey, Brianna, and Kayne. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Myron, son Robert, daughter Harlene, grandson William, 14 brothers and sisters. Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home, Columbiaville.

JEAN McMAHON SCHUMANN
Age 60 of Astatula, Florida, and formerly of Richmond, Michigan, died Monday, November 7, 2005 at her home in Florida. She was born November 6, 1945 in Erie, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late James H. and Ruth D. Crosby McMahon. Jean graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School in 1963 and later received an Associate's Degree in Nursing form Highland Community College in Highland Park, Michigan. She had worked as a Staff and Head Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital in Macomb County as well as Hamot Medical Center, Detroit General Hospital and Buffalo Children's Hospital. Jean was actively involved in her children's schooling, serving as the head of the Richmond PTO, working as a room mother and lunch monitor, and serving on several Project Graduation committees. She enjoyed needlework, quilting, golfing and reading. She is survived by her husband, David M. Schumann of Astatula, Florida; three daughters, Jennifer Schumann of Jacksonville, Florida, Kate (Schumann) DeWolf of Lexington, Georgia, Amy (Schumann) Lasseter of Athens, Georgia; two sisters, Ellen McMahon of Lake City, Pennsylvania, Kay McMahon of Micco, Florida; and a grandson, Jack Schumann Dewolf. Memorials may be made to the Schumann Cancer Fund, 205 Hardwood Rd., Lexington, Georgia, 30648.

MARJORIE RUTH (MULLEN) BRESSIE
Age 84, of Lenox Township, Michigan, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2005, at home. Mrs. Bressie was born February 21, 1921 in Meade, Michigan. The daughter of the late Frank and Dorris (DeVinney) Bantle. In October of 1943 she married the late James H. Mullen in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Mr. Mullen passed away in January of 1957. In May of 1969 she married the late Fred Bressie in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Mr. Bressie passed away in October of 1977, Mrs. Bressie was a homemaker. Mrs. Bressie is survived by her son Joseph G. (Noreen) Mullen of Shelby Township; daughters Ruth (Arthur) Rickert of Casco and Suzanne (Barry) Dovaston of Lenox; grandchildren, Brandy, Brian, Mindy and Michael; great-grandchildren Joseph, Cassandra, Abigail, Bailey, Aiden and Owen, and sister Iris Huerter of Kansas. She was also predeceased by brothers Loren, Frank Jr. and Francis. Funeral services were held at Christie-Olszewski Funeral Home, New Baltimore, Michigan with Pastor William Pacey officiating. Burial was at Meade cemetery, Macomb Township, Michigan.

DOROTHY EDNA WEEKS
Age 86, of Richmond, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2005, in Marquette, Michigan. Dorothy was born October 1, 1919, at her grandparents farm in Hawks, Michigan, to Alfred and Eva (Woehlert) Boehmer. She was raised in Rogers City, Michigan, with four brothers and four sisters. Dorothy moved to Richmond, Michigan in 1937. On February 20, 1939, Dorothy married David Nelson Weeks. David passed away July 4, 2003. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and spent much of her life caring for others. A member of the United Church of Christ of Richmond for over 65, Dorothy had taught Sunday school, bible school and was a member of the women's fellowship group at church. She loved to garden and work outdoors in her yard, in later years she especially enjoyed her flower gardens at her home in Florida. Dorothy lived in Richmond until the death of her husband in 2003. Dorothy is survived by her five children: David (Val) Weeks of Green Vally, Arizona; Jerry (Maxine) Weeks of Marquette; Richard (Myra) Weeks of Skandia; Marjory (Paul) Koenig, of Clare; Mary Weeks of Mt. Pleasant; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; and one sister, Joy Karsten of Rogers City; sister-in-laws, Marietta Boehmer of Auburn Hills, Susie Boehmer of Arizona, and Jeanette Potts and Margaret Boehmer of Richmond; many nephews and nieces, including Richard (Sue) Weinert of Richmond, who gave much help and support o Dave and Dorothy over the years and several friends. Visitation was held at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond. Funeral services were at First United Church of Christ, Richmond, Rev. Jennifer A. Long, pastor, officated. Burial was in Richmond cemetery, Richmond. Memorials are suggested to First United Church of Christ.

L. DONALD WEIRAUCH, Jr.
51, of Richmond, died unexpectedly Friday, December 16, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Marsha, parents Rocky and Virginia Weirauch of Richmond; step-children Tanya Dusette of Richmond and Steve Dusette of Capac; 3 brothers, Dave, Steve (Charlene) and Greg (Julie), sister Mary (Dave) Quintall; step-grandchildren Alisha, Sydnee and Hunter and several nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation arrangements by Kaatz Funeral Directors, Richmond, have taken place.

ORPHA P. DUGGER
Age 85 of Almont passed away Monday, December 12, 2005 in her home. She was born February 26, 1920 in Butler, Tennessee, the daughter of James and Georgia Laws. She attended Watauga Academy in Butler, Tennessee and retired from Federal Department Store in Detroit. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Butler, Tennessee, and attended the First Baptist Church in Almont. She is survived by her partner Woodrow Penrod of Almont; her children, Doris Berry of Bristol, Indiana; Richard (Pricilla) Dugger, Jr. of Melvin, Michigan; Carolyn (Al) Harding of Stevensville, Michigan; brother-in-law, Raymond Dugger of Almont; daughter-in-law, Patsy Dugger Bauman of Richmond; grandchildren, Brian Berry, Kay Norris, Amanda Harding, Kathy Essian, Jennifer Messana, Alison Bennett, Bobby Dugger, Jr., and Michael Dugger; great grandchildren, Kaila Briales, Ryan Dugger, Austin Bennett and Braxton Bennett; brother, Wayne Lewis of Butler, Tennessee; sisters, Irene Shoun of Butler, Tennessee, Rosalee Hodge of Shady Valley, Tennessee, and Frances Proffitt of Mountain City, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dugger, Sr., and one son Bobby Dugger. Visitation and funeral services were held at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont with Pastor Byrd of the First Baptist Church, Almont, officiating. Burial was at West Berlin cemetery. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Henry Ford, 16931 19 Mile Rd., Clinton Twp., Michigan 48038.
