JOHNNY R. KINNEY
Johnny R. Kinney Sr., 66, of Clifford, Michigan passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at his home in Burlington Twp.
He had lived in Clifford since 1988 and was previously from the Grand Blanc area.
He was born October 4, 1940 in Pontiac, Michigan, son to the late John and Willy ImoJean (Vickory) Kinney.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp. and Texas Army National Guard. He worked for several years as a carpenter for the Detroit Carpenter Union 998. He married
Carolyn Whitmire.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn; two sons, John and Sherry Kinney of Bradenton, FL and Patrick Kinney of Fort Worth, TX.; three daughters, Kristina Laney of Azle, TX, Cindy and Jeff Tucker of Burleson, TX, and Jenny and Jeff Burpee of Silverwood, MI.; one sister, Barbara and Bernie Britton of Clifford, MI.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the C.M.A. Bethel Church in Marlette.
Memorials may be given to the donation of your choice.

EVA M. FISCHER
Eva M. Fischer, 93, a lifelong resident of Marlette, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Longevity Foster Care Home in Sandusky, Michigan.
She was born July 10, 1013 in Marlette, daughter to the late Vincent and Rosa Northrop.
She was a 1933 graduate of Marlette High School.
She married
Vern Fischer. He preceded her in death on July 18, 1980. She married
Glenn Caskey. He preceded her in death on June 25, 1994. She then married
Clarence Fischer.
She was a life member of the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marlette.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence of Marlette; a son, Earl and Marlys Fischer of Marlette; a daughter, Karen and Ed Elmy of Caro; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; daughter, Janet and a sister, Fran.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marlette with Rev. Erik Kilmer officiating. Interment was in the Germania cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the Our Savior Lutheran Church.

PATRICIA L. ROPER
Patricia L. Roper, 61, of Clifford, Michigan, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at her sister’s home in Burlington Township.
She had lived in the Clifford area for the past 28 years.
She was born on August 18, 1945 in Cass City, Michigan, daughter to Donovan and Elsie (Nouzak) Albertson.
She graduated from Marlette High School in 1963, received her teaching degree in Secondary Education from M.S.U. and went to C.M.U. where she became an Educational Specialist.
She taught for three years in Colorado, four years in Shiprock, New Mexico and the past 20 years at the North Branch schools.
She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Marlette.
She is survived by a son, Donovan Roper of Dryden, MI.; mother, Elsie Albertson of Clifford; a sister, Delphine and Frank Vizard of Clifford and brothers, Dr. Dean and Linda Albertson of Owosso, MI. and Thomas and Carla Albertson of Clifford.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donovan E. Albertson.
Cremation has taken place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan, There will be no memorial service.
Memorials may be donated to Our Savior Lutheran Church.

JOHN A. SHARP
John A. Sharp, 88, of a life long resident of Clifford, Michigan, Burlingtown Township, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 at the Covenant Medical Center - Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan.
He was born August 21, 1918 in Clifford, Michigan, son to the late Lyle and Beatrice (Copeland) Sharp.
He graduated from Marlette High School in 1937 and received his agriculture degree from Michigan State College.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.
He married
Ernestine L. Burdy on November 1, 1947 in Clifford. She preceded him in death on February 21, 2001.
He was a member of the Clifford United Methodist Church, Michigan Maple Sugar Producer’s Association and the N.R.A.
He is survived by four sons, John and Sandy Sharp of Clifford, William Sharp of Flushing, MI., James and Madelyn Sharp of Marlette and Thomas and Samantha Sharp of Tacoma, WA.; two daughters, Barbara and Robert Baker of Hickory Corners, MI. and Diane and Roger Overland of North Branch, MI.; special friend, Mary Osburn of Marlette; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Robert Sharp; grandsons, Kevin Sharp and Benjamin Baker and great-grandson, Jonathan Sharp.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Rev. Rick Brown officiating.
Interment was at the Marlette cemetery in Marlette.
Memorials may be donated to the Clifford United Methodist Church.

HOWARD M. PARKER
Howard M. Parker, 88, of Elmer Twp., Marlette, Michigan, passed away Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Marlette Regional Hospital Hospice Residence.
He had lived in the Marlette area since 1946.
He was a 1938 graduate of Denby High School in Detroit.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII as a MP.
He married
Ruth Erickson on June 7, 1941 in Detroit.
He worked for Guerdon Industry in Marlette and G.M.C. in Pontiac until his retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Linda and Robert Perrigo of Marlette, MI and Louise and Charles Becker of Goodelles, MI.; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be donated to the United Hospice Service or the American Heart Association.

ROBERT ARNOLD PERRIGO
Robert Arnold Perrigo, 65 of Marlette, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Marlette Hospice Residence in Marlette, Michigan.
He was born August 2, 1941 in Seymour, Indiana, the son of the late Eugene and Lillian (Spencer) Perrigo.
He was a 1961 graduate of Seymour High School, Seymour, Indiana. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Education and his Masters Degree in Education in two areas Social Studies and English from Ball State University.
He married
Linda J. Parker on August 26, 1967 in Marlette, MI.
He moved to Marlette in 1975 from North Branch, he was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, Juhl.
He taught school for 1 year in Knightstown, Indiana and for 26 years at North Branch Community Schools, North Branch, retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his wife Linda, Patricia Abrell (sister) of Ohio, Ruth Parker (mother-in-law) of Marlette, Louise & Charles Becker (sister-in-law) of Goodells, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Hope Lutheran Church, Juhl with Rev. Joyce Johnston officiating.
Cremation following services at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City. Memorial Suggestion to United Hospice, or American Diabetes Association. Arraignments by Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette.
BILLY E. ARNOLD
Billy E. Arnold, of Kingston, Michigan, 77, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 at his home in Koylton Twp.
He had lived in Koylton Twp. since 1979 and was previously from the Lake Orion area.
He was born December 11, 1929 in Lapeer, Michigan, son to the late Kenneth and Lois (Wood) Arnold.
He married
Donna Jean Broyles on June 16, 1950 in Auburn Hills, Michigan. She preceded him in death on September 12, 1995.
He worked for Pontiac Motors for 33 years. He was a member of the U.A.W. 653. He is survived by two sons, Joey and Linda Arnold of Holly, MI and Roger and Theresa Arnold of Pontiac, MI; two granddaughters, Angela and Robert Vincent of Holly, MI and Jennifer Arnold of Waterford, MI; three great-grandchildren, Allison, Justin and Joseph Vincent of Holly and two sisters, Elizabeth and David Hull of Waterford, MI and Ellen and Olin Broadwater of Maryland.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, John and sister, Mae. Cremation will take place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan. A memorial service was conducted on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in the March Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Rev. John Allan officiating.
