GEORGINA F. LUMM
Georgina F. Lumm, 86, of Clifford, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005 at her home.
She was a long time resident of the Clifford area and was previously from Clarkston, Michigan.
She was born on September 25, 1919 in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, daughter to the late William and Mable (Price) Pyke.
She married
Harold Lumm on October 28, 1937 in Pontiac, Michigan.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, bird watching, collecting roosters and, most of all, her family.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; sons, Gary Lumm of Clifford, Jim (Peggy) Lumm of Davisburg, MI., Michael Lumm of Charleston, SC., George (Marcia) Lumm of Clifford; daughters, Marjorie (Valdon) Garrison of Davisburg, MI., Carole (John) Rexford of Carsonville, Kathleen Nichol of Flint, Susan (James) Grice of Sandusky; brothers, Donald (Teddy) Pyke of Bad Axe, MI., Richard (Fran) Pyke of East Detroit, MI.; sisters, Bernice Hooper of Oxford, Lorene Cox of Clifford, Shirley (Albert) Rogers of Oxford, MI., Barbara (Gordon) Wilson of Auburn Hills, MI. Nancy (Lawrence) Parker of Auburn Hills; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Harold and Kenneth and brothers Harvey, Jack, Gerald, Norman and Robert.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Pastor Bill Romosier officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeview cemetery in Clarkston, Michigan.
Memorials may be donated to the United Hospice Service or Marlette VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette.
ALDONA M. BURNISON
Aldona M. Burnison, 92, died Sunday, October 2, 2005 at Sanilac Medical Care Facility in Sandusky, Michigan.
She had lived in the Snover, Michigan area since 1932 and was previously from Hoopeston, Ill.
She was born January 9, 1913 in Chicago, Ill., daughter to the late Frank and Barbara Palilunas.
She graduated from DePaul University where she received a bachelors degree in Music.
She married
Vernon R. Burnison on January 11, 1936 in Chicago, Ill. He preceded her in death on February 4, 2002.
She was a bookkeeper for the Marlette Community Hospital and Deckerville Hospital for many years, owned and operated with her husband Burnison Real-Estate in Marlette and also did income taxes.
She is survived by her sons, David and Mary Ann Burnison of Cumming, Ga. and Ron and Margaret Burnison of Montello, Wi.; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister.
Funeral services were held Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Fr. Reginaldo Salcedo of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church officiating.
Burial will be in the Mooretown cemetery in Snover.
Memorials may be donated to the United Hospice Service.
CAROLYN L. BOYNE
Carolyn L. Boyne, 65, a life long resident of Marlette, passed away Friday, October 7, 2005 at the Covenant Medical Center - Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan.
She was born on January 2, 1940 in Marlette, daughter of the late Neil and Elsie (Wiegert) Boyne.
She is survived by brothers James and Darlene Boyne of Marlette and David and Linda Boyne of Phoenix, AZ. and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She enjoyed listening to Elvis music, cross stitching, embroidering, drawing and, most of all, her family.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, October 9, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Pastor Douglas Richardson of the Goodnews Assembly of God Church officiating.
Interment was at the Marlette cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Epileptic Association.
WALTER RAY SCOTT
Walter Ray Scott, 86, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Marlette Community Hospital Hospice House.
He had lived in Marlette, Elmer Township since 1972 and was previously from the Detroit area.
He was born on December 17, 1918 in Buckton, N.Y., son of the late Wallace and Maude (Johnston) Scott.
He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW11 from 1943 to 1945.
He married
Doris Nielsen on December, 11 1948 in the Old Juhl Church.
He was motorcycle police officer form the City of Detroit for 25 years also also worked for the J. J. Curran Co. for 10 years.
He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church and the Detroit Police officers Association.
He enjoyed coaching youth hockey, hunting, playing cribbage, the outdoors and, most of all, his family.
He is survived by his wife Doris of Marlette; a son, Ray and Debi Scott of Kalamazoo, MI.; daughters, Christine Scott of Laguna Niguel, CA. and Catherine and Jim Sanderson of DeWitt, MI.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Patricia Valere Harris and sisters Phyllis, Gwen and Lynn.
Cremation will take place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City, Michigan.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Hope Lutheran Church in Juhl with Pastor Boll Moldwin officiating.
Burial of cremains in the Juhl cemetery.
Memorials may be donated to the Hope Lutheran Church or United Hospice Service.
Visitation with the family will start on Saturday at 12 noon until the time of memorial service.

JOHN H. F. PEARCE
John H. F. Pearce, 42, died Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Marlette Community Hospital in Marlette, Michigan. He had lived in Marlette for the past two years and was previously from Sandusky.
He was born July 11, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan son to George and Harriett (Forshee) Pearce.
He graduated from Lapeer West High School in 1981. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a Police Officer. He married
Melissa Derrick on June 30, 2001 in Akron, Michigan. He was a truck driver for Ron Wood Trucking. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapeer.
He is survived by his wife Melissa of Marlette; sons, Harry and George Pearce of Marlette, MI.; daughter, Emily Rose Pearce of Marlette, MI.; mother, Harriett Pearce of Lapeer, MI.; brother, Chris Pearce of Fort Worth, TX.; mother-in-law, Debra Derrick of Belts Bills, MD.; father-in-law, Ron and Cheryl Derrick of Snover, MI.; brother-in-laws, Ronnie and Melissa Derrick of Pennsville, MI. and Jeremy and Hope Derrick of Carsonville, MI.; sister-in-law, Loretta Derrick of Yale, MI. and 13 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Pearce.
Cremation has taken place at the Sunset Valley Crematory in Bay City.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Marsh Funeral Chapel in Marlette, with Rev. Dwight Forshee officiating.
Memorials may be donated to the family.
CHARLES QUEZZ HARROLD
Charles Quezz Harrold, 73, of Clifford died Sunday, August 14, 2005 at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint.
He was born July 14, 1932 to Dewey and Lora (Lemonds) Harrold in Kennett, Missouri.
He married
Judith Tallieu on May 20, 1978 in Kingston, MI.
He served in the United States Air Force from August 12, 1950 until July 7, 1954 and the United States Army from August 24, 1956 until September 27, 1960. He received the Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Service Metal.
He worked for General Motors Turnsted for 16 years. He was also a farmer, self-employed siding contractor and worked for Active Homes and Blue Water Homes.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; children, Charles (Janet) Harrold of Mt. Morris and Michael Harrold of Carson City; step-children, Doug (Diane) Tallieu of Traverse City, Joe (Kathy) Tillieu of Clifford, Kay Hobson of Marlette, Andy (Glenda) Tallieu of Clifford, and Suzy (Kent) Clark of Clifford; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; several nieces and nephews and three sisters, Margaret Harrold, Dewey, AZ, Delores Harrold AZ and Shelby Meadows, St. Charles, MO.
He was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Lora Harrold; a brother, Needham Parr; two sisters, Christine Knutson and Elizabeth Harrold; son-in-law, George Hobson and a stepson, Mark Tallieu.
Funeral services were conducted at 11 A.M. Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at the Avram Funeral Home in Mayville with Pastor Tim Rich officiating. Military Honors were conducted by the Mayville/Vassar VFW Post #10884 and Mayville American Legion Post #181.
