Margaret “Margie” C. (nee Prouty) Trombley, 94 of Buffalo, died at Park View Care Center on Saturday, November 22, 2008.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, November 24 at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Plymouth, by the St. Joseph on the Hill Catholic Church.
Serving the family - the Peterson Chapel, Buffalo.

Edward Whiteoak

Edward E. Whiteoak, 81 of Buffalo. WWII Veteran and retired 33 year NSP employee.
Survived by son, Mike (Thea) Pulkrabek of Blackhawk, SD; grandson, Cole Pulkrabek; sister, Leila Nelson of Bloomington; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Lee (Wilma) Hilary and Elmer (Irma) Hilary; sisters-in-law, Betty Whiteoak and Lilian (Don) Petty. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 43 years, DeEtta (nee Hilary) in June of 2003; brother James Whiteoak in the summer of 2008. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Memorial service was held Sat., Nov. 22 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Visitation at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to services.
Burial at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Serving the family, The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo.

Duane "Butch" Henson, 72

Duane Lee "Butch" Henson, age 72 of Buffalo, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at Fairview Transitional Care Unit in Minneapolis.
He was born on July 23, 1937 in Buffalo to Monroe "Slim" and Evelyn Mills Henson.
Duane was baptized on March 23, 1961.
He enlisted in The Marines the summer before his senior year of high school. Butch served from 1955 to 1959 in underwater demolition. When he got out of The Marines, he worked as a deputy for The Wright County Sheriff and for The Buffalo Police Department. Butch also worked for Federal Cartridge in Anoka for two years and he also worked with his brothers for a few years.
On September 8, 1962, Duane "Butch" Lee Henson and Leona Ruth Holthaus were joined in holy marriage. God blessed their marriage with six children.
Butch enjoyed playing cards, hunting and all sports.
Survived by wife: Leona (nee Holthaus); children: Lynn (David) Ratke, David (Shelly) Henson, Christine (David) Peterson, Jason (Melissa) Henson, Darin (Kerry) Henson and Janel Henson; 11 grandchildren: Stacy (Steven) Gerring, Derek Henson, Melony Henson, Dillon Peterson, Cody Peterson, Chelsey Henson, Madison Henson, Trevor Ratke, Alicia Henson, Brooke Henson and Colton Henson; two brothers: Willard (Doris) Henson and Alonza (Kay) Henson, a sister: Patty (Jim) Schleif; other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents: Monroe and Evelyn Henson, brothers: Clyde and Howard Henson and by a sister: Phyllis Schindel.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Duane "Butch" Henson was held on Monday, January 11th at 11:00 A.M. at St. Francis Catholic Church in Buffalo. Father David Hennen was the Celebrant. Interment with military rites followed at St. Francis Cemetery.
A visitation was held on Sunday, January 10th from 4-8 P.M. at the church. A Prayer service was held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday evening.
Honorary Casket Bearers were Stacy Gerring, Melony Henson, Chelsey Henson, Madison Henson, Trevor Ratke, Alicia Henson, Brooke Henson and Colton Henson.
Casket Bearers were David Henson, Jason Henson, Darin Henson, David Peterson, David Ratke, Derek Henson, Dillon Peterson and Cody Peterson.
The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo served the family.

Donald Frank Lubinski

Donald F. Lubinski, Sr. age 64, of 11942 Hart Ave. NW, Annandale died suddenly on Monday, January 6, 2003 at the Gift of Life Transplant House in Rochester.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 10, 2003 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Rev. Stan Kozlak officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 10:30-11:30 a.m. Friday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale.
Donald F. Lubinski, Sr. was born September 20, 1938 in Minneapolis to John and Helen (Svec) Lubinski. He served in the U.S. Navy and married Joan K. Johnson on May 13, 1961. From 1967-1974 he worked for the City of Robbinsdale Public Works Department, he and his wife, Joan owned and operated The Pub, Robbinsdale from 1972-1982 and Sugar Lake Resort, Annandale from 1978-1995. He was a member of the Kimball Golf Club and Sugar Lake Association; and was a former member of the Annandale Conservation Club and Annandale Snowmobile Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Joan of Annandale; four children & their spouses, Lynne & John McIntosh of Crystal, Laurie & John Thoma of Waterloo, IA, Lisa & Brian Bachman of Champlin, Don & Cathleen Lubinski, Jr. of Coon Rapids; twelve grandchildren, Shannon, Rochelle, Kyle, Ben, Mitchell, Andrew, Christopher, Brandon, Lexi, Austin, Savannah, and Sierra; mother, Helen Lubinski of St. Anthony Village; two brothers, Richard Lubinski & his wife, Norma of Ham Lake, Jim Lubinski of Minneapolis; two sisters & their husbands, Mary Lou & Tony Affeldt of Princeton, Janice & Peter Flatten of Annandale; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Don`s son and sons in law will be the pallbearers and Dureen Gasser will provide the music. Memorials are preferred to the Gift of Life Transplant House, 705 2nd Street SW, Rochester, Minnesota 55902.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

James Michael Jewison

Mr. James M. Jewison, age 56, of Kimball died Tuesday, February 25, 2003 at home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, 2003 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball with Rev. Frank Tomasiewicz officiating. Burial will follow in the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral chapel in Kimball. There will be a prayer service 6 pm followed by American Legion service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
James Michael Jewison was born December 20, 1946 in St. Cloud to William and Hilda (Kaupi) Jewison. He served in the US Army from April 1965 - March 1967. James married Sharon K. Faber June 19, 1971 in St. Nicholas Catholic Church. He has lived in Kimball since 1979 where he was a member of St. Anne`s Catholic Church, American Legion Post # 261 of Kimball, and from 1980-1999 he was a member of the Kimball Volunteer Fire Department. He recently has been managing the Kimball American Legion Post. James enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and coin collecting.
James is survived by his wife, Sharon of Kimball; son, Doug and his wife, Carmen of Watkins; daughter, Jessica Baumann and her husband, Craig of Kimball; brother, Jerry and his wife, Karen of St. Peter; sister, Catherine Weber and her husband, Christian of Paynesville; grandchildren, Zachary, Hunter, Megan, and Ashley. His parents preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Jason Unterberger, Art Faber, Gary Faber, Dave Mackereth, Gene Oswald, and Dale Ketcher.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.

Margaret Agnes Dammann

Margaret A. Dammann, age 94, of Kimball died Saturday, January 4, 2003 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Concordia Lutheran Church, Fair Haven with Rev. Norman Hanan officiating. Burial will follow in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church.
Margaret Agnes Dammann was born June 10, 1908 at Paynesville to Christian and Caroline (Ferrier) Robertson. She attended schools and grew up in Paynesville, Sauk Centre, Wadena, and St. Cloud. She was employed in Minneapolis at the University of Minnesota, then in St. Cloud at Pandolphals and St. Cloud Children`s Home. She married Anthony C. Dammann on March 8, 1930 in Concordia Lutheran Church and together they farmed in Fair Haven Township, Stearns County for 42 years. Upon her husband`s death on February 11, 1973, she moved to Kimball where she resided until moving to Good Shepherd Home 5 years ago. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, it`s Ladies Aid, and Lutheran Women`s Missionary League. At Concordia, she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and sang in the Choir.
She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Folta of Bloomington; sisters in law, Luella Dammann of Annandale, Hazel Robertson of St. Cloud; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers, John & Fred; and sisters, Helen Louise in infancy, Frances Lawson, and Marian Eichers.
The pallbearers will be Vernon & Bruce Bailey, Jerry Bolser, Lenous Dammann, Gordon Langenfeld, and David Robertson. Ruth Fry will be the organist.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.

Harvey Walter Hawkinson

Mr. Harvey W. Hawkinson, age 77, Annandale died Wednesday, January 1, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2003 at Annandale Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Dennis Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday at the church.
Harvey Walter Hawkinson was born November 4, 1925 in Annandale, an only child, to Walter and Martha (Westlund) Hawkinson. Harvey spent 2 ˝ years in the Navy serving on Guadalcanal, earning a rank of Yeoman, 1st Class. A pilot for six years, he took training at the age of 17 at the Wright Technical Institute of Aeronautics, Glendale, CA. On October 4, 1952 he married Betty J. Hill in Minneapolis. Harvey was Annandale City Clerk for 32 years and also worked for the Annandale Post Office for 27 years.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Betty of Annandale; five children, Dean (Sandra) of Elk River, Dale of St. Cloud, Dorothy Carlson of South Haven, Dwight (Virginia) of Annandale, Duane of Buffalo; seven grandchildren.
His favorite hobbies were, photography, boating, music, building radio control airplanes, and other models. He had been a member of Annandale Evangelical Free Church for 45 years. He loved his family, grandchildren, and will be dearly missed.
Memorials preferred to Annandale Evangelical Free Church at 10252 State Hwy 55 NW, Annandale MN 55302.
Pallbearers will be Dean, Dale, Dwight & Duane Hawkinson, Francis Logeais & Guy Hawkinson. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent Hawkinson & Ryan Carlson.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Kenneth William Erickson

Mr. Kenneth W. Erickson, age 79, of Annandale died Thursday, February 20, 2003 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2003 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Middleville Township, Wright County with Rev. Leland Bendix officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Dingmann Funereal Care Chapel, Annandale and one hour prior to the funeral on Monday. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Kenneth William Erickson was born April 10, 1923 in rural Annandale to William and Effie (Josephson) Erickson. He was baptized by Pastor Alex Johnson and confirmed by Pastor North in the Apostolic Lutheran Church of Cokato. On February 22, 1941 he married Elsie S. Uecker. Kenneth worked for Kaiser Ship Yard, Vancouver, WA during WW II. He lived in Annandale most of his life where he was a self employed carpenter and responsible for developing the Kendale Addition in Annandale. From 1965-1971 he lived in Big Timber, MT. Kenneth was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Annandale. He loved his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cooking.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Elsie of Annandale, daughters, Joyce (Mark) Boon of Annandale, Janet of Annandale, Mary Jane (Jeff) Miller of Annandale; sons, Bill (Debbie) of Annandale, Jim (Sharon) of South Haven, Chuck (Pam) of Aurora, CO; daughter in law, Jo Anne Erickson of Annandale; sister, Harriet (Ervin) Wolfsteller of Annandale; 18 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Kurt; great grandson, Nicholas; 3 sisters, Velma, Viola, and Hazel.
Pallbearers will be Kurt Erickson, Eric & Ryan Boon, Eric Iverson, Nathan Miller, Nick, Trevor, & Ben Erickson, Jim Erickson, and Luke Erickson.
Music for the funeral provided by Jeanette Beckala and Helen Mattila.
In lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred to Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Gregory James Elsenpeter

Deacon Gregory J. Elsenpeter, age 59, of Maple Lake died Thursday, February 13, 2003 at home after a four-year battle with cancer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2003 at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Bishop Richard Pates, Fr. Mark Huberty, Fr. Charles Froehle, Fr. Mark Juettner, and several other Priests and Deacons will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Chatham Township. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake. There will be a prayer service 5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Deacon Gregory James Elsenpeter was born October 11, 1943 in St. Cloud to A. Harold and Rosalie (Latour) Elsenpeter. He graduated from Maple Lake High School in 1961. He married Krista A. Theder August 24, 1968 in St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake. He lived in Chatham Township, Wright County all his life where he farmed until 1999; for the past three years Greg has been a Deacon. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Buffalo and St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Shortly before his death he became a member of the 4th degree of the Knights of Columbus. Greg loved his wife and family, church, farming, and being a Deacon.
Greg is survived by his wife, Krista of Maple Lake; eight children, James (Jean) of Buffalo, Sarah (Adam) Goelz of Maple Lake, Susan (John) Peterson of Maple Lake, Daniel of Maple Lake, Katie of Buffalo, Carmen of Maple Lake, Luke of Maple Lake, Anne Marie of Maple Lake; brothers, Al (Pat) of Maple Lake, H. John of Maple Lake; sister, H. Jeanette (Dean) Woolstencroft of Buffalo; six grandchildren, Joseph, Savanna, Hayley, Daniel, Andrea, and Jack. His parents; brother, H. Gary; and son, Joseph preceded him in death.
Pallbearers will be Jon Deluney, Milo Shoberg, Charles Waugh, Mike Winn, Walt Haselheun, Rod Palmer, Jim Marshall, and Pat Evans.
Music for the funeral provided by the music ministries of St. Timothy’s Catholic Church and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church; directed by Joy Swearingen and Kathy Peterson.
Arrangements were by Dingmann Funeral Care of Maple Lake.
