Joseph Ignatius Steichen

Joseph I. Steichen, age 84, of Kimball, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Heritage House of Kimball.
Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Kimball United Methodist Church. Rev. Ken Felska will officiate and Pastor Jon Albert will give the Eulogy. Burial will follow at the Kimball Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service, Saturday, at the church. A prayer service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Jerry Albert officiating.
Joseph Ignatius Steichen was born on April 9, 1928 in Maine Prairie Township to John and Frances (Zwilling) Steichen. He lived most of his life in the Kimball area and attended school in Kimball through the 8th grade; at that time he left school to work on the family farm. Joe married his neighbor, Donna Jean Weisman, on October 24, 1951 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball. This union was blessed with three daughters: Joyce, Gloria and JoAnne.
Joe was drafted into the Army on March 27, 1952 and he served in active duty until December 26, 1953. He served on the front line during the Korean War from October 16, 1952 until July 20, 1953 and he continued his service in the Army Reserves until April 20, 1960. He received an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army as Sergeant with three Bronze Stars.
Joe worked at the Paynesville, Kimball and Annandale creameries before accepting the job that brought the most joy to his life at the Kimball Public Schools; he worked as a custodian for Kimball from August 3, 1970 until November 1, 1991. During his spare time he spent countless hours making and repairing bikes for the children of Kimball. In his retirement, Joe spent his time at the Kimball United Methodist Church, doing lawn care for many people, driving bus for Hendricks Bus Service and in his garage tinkering and making beautiful wooden treasures. Joe’s zest for life and genuine compassion is a rare and true gift that will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Joe is survived by his daughters & their spouses Joyce & Doug Quast of Kimball, Gloria & Charlie Olson of South Haven and JoAnne & Chuck Weiland of Mayer; 'special sons' & their spouses Trent & Shelly Greely of Crosby and Ted & Annette Greely of St. Michael; sisters Zita Manual, Theresa (Warren) Theisen and Rosie Wieneke; grandchildren Robin, Aaron, Joey, Trent, Kara and Cody; and great grandchild Madeline. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife Donna; brothers Robert, Roman and Bernard; and sisters Agnes Hentges and Helen Holt.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Olson, Trent Olson, Joey Hendrickson, Cody Weiland, Trent Greely and Brandon Bollingmo. Ted Greely will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.

Kathleen Ina (Adams) Kasper
Born: Sat Oct 17, 1942
Died: Sun Dec 16, 2012

Kathleen (Adams) Kasper, age 70, of South Haven, formerly of Monticello died Sunday December 16, 2012. Preceded in death by parents Clifford & Miriam Adams; brothers David & John; sisters Janice Adams & Jill Hunter. Survived by husband John (Jack) Kasper, daughter Pamela (Don) Larsen, son Allan (Janine) Kasper; grandchildren Shaina, Steven, & Philip Cyr; brother James C. (Pamela) Adams. Celebration of Life was held previously. Private interment at Grace Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Shriners Hospital for Children. Arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Florence Josephine (Hudek) Menth

Florence J. Menth, age 90, of Maple Lake died Monday, October 22, 2012 at her home with her family at her side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake. Fr. John Meyer will be the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy’s Catholic Cemetery in Maple Lake. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday, both at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. Parish Prayers will be 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Florence Josephine Menth was born March 29, 1922 at her home in Maple Lake Township to George and Emily (Pribyl) Hudek. She graduated with the class of 1939 from Maple Lake High School and from St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in Minneapolis with the class of 1942. Florence served her country as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corp. during WWII. On November 18, 1950, she was united in marriage to Raymond George Menth at St. Timothy Catholic Church. Florence worked as the school nurse in the Maple Lake School District for 14 years, retiring in 1989. She was a member of St. Timothy Catholic Church, CCW, Sam’s Quilters, Maple Lake VFW Post 7664, Maple Lake American Legion Auxiliary Post 131, Maple Lake Red Hats and the Whist Club. She enjoyed traveling and volunteering, especially at the school. Along with her sister, Helen, Florence was a former Grand Marshal in the Maple Lake St. Patrick’s Day Parade. In 2003, she was awarded with the Outstanding Senior Citizen of Wright County Award.
Florence is survived by her children & their spouses Mark & Barbara of Maple Lake, Mary & Rodney Bell of Maple Lake, Paul & Bonnie of Twin Falls, ID, Lois & David McHugh of Nowthen, Fred & Geraldine of Buffalo and Greg of Otsego; sister Helen Doherty; 14 grandchildren Jenny, Joe, Matt, Sam, Ginger, Amy, Russell, Katie, Fred Jr., Gordon, Vinnie, Toni, Stephanie and Sarah; and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond; parents George and Emily; son David; grandson Wayne McHugh; and sisters Mabel Yirbarren, Marion Byrne and Leona Isgro.
Florence’s grandchildren will serve as her urn bearers. Krista Elsenpeter Tarbox, Sarah Goelz and Joe Thomas will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Maple Lake.

Elveria "Toots" Marie (Berthiaume) Capes

Elveria "Toots" Capes, age 87, of Kimball died Sunday, October 14, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the Church of Christ, Kimball with Pastor Jon Albert officiating. Burial will follow at the Fair Haven Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and at the Church one hour prior to services. There will be a prayer service 7 p.m. Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to the Kimball Fire Department.
Elveria "Toots" Marie Capes was born May 11, 1925 at Hamel to Elmer and Clarinda (Pumarlo) Berthiaume. She married William "Bud" Capes on September 21, 1944 at Hamel and they farmed in Fair Haven Township, Stearns County where they raised their three children. She was a homemaker and enjoyed bowling, fishing & knitting. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her children Richard (Sharon), Darlene (Tom) Rosenow, & Randy, all of South Haven, sister Fern Berthiaume of Maple Lake, brothers Lloyd Berthiaume of Hamel, Edwin (Shirley) Berthiaume of Osseo; she will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Her husband and brother Harold preceded her in death.
The pallbearers will be Rich, Jason, Stacy & Kim Capes, Steve & Scott Rosenow. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Kimball.

Gloria Anne (Brooks) Zoller

Gloria A. Zoller, age 75, of Kimball died Friday, October 5, 2012 at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in Minneapolis with her family at her side.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at St. Anne Catholic Church, Kimball with Fr. Jerry Mischke as the Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service, Tuesday at the church. Parish Prayers will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Gloria Anne Zoller was born January 2, 1937 in Minneapolis to Donald and Helen (Danneker) Brooks. She graduated from South High School in Minneapolis with the class of 1954. On July 14, 1956, Gloria was united in marriage to Jack Lee Zoller in Mason City, Iowa. Gloria worked as a day care provider and pre-school teacher. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Kimball American Legion Auxiliary and the Kimball Historical Society.
She is survived by her eight children & their spouses Vincent and his fiancé Paula Noggle of Kimball, Victor of South Haven, Vance & Terry of Park Rapids, Vern & Kristi of Kimball, Vaughn of Isle, Valerie & Bill Raiche of Palmer, AK, Vikki & Mike Nielsen of Clear Lake and Van "Dude" & Kara of Becker; 25 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; brother Richard Brooks of Eagan; and sister Darlene Brooks of Maple Grove. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Helen; husband Jack; and sons, Vale Zoller and Victor Allen Zoller I.
Gloria's sons will serve as the pallbearers for the service. Tom Schreiner and Frosty Schiefelbein will provide the music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.

Wanda Marlene (Wiler) Evers

Wanda M. Evers, age 63, of South Haven died Thursday, September 20, 2012 at her daughter's home in Darwin under hospice care.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday with Memorial Services held at 7 p.m. Monday, September 24, 2012 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake with Rev. John Peterson officiating.
Wanda Marlene Evers was born May 30, 1949 in Minneapolis to Clarence and Shirley (Ten Eyck) Wiler. She worked at Bernatello's Pizza in Maple Lake for many years and enjoyed doing beadwork and playing bingo.
She is survived by her former husband Terry Evers of South Haven, daughters Jan Bapp of Tracy, Koreen Heller of Darwin, Karen Evers of Annandale, brothers & sisters, Sandy Wiler of AZ, Rose Lamb of MO, Richard Wiler of MO, Janie Murray of Apple Valley, Daniel Wiler of St. Cloud, George Benson of St. Cloud, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and great grandson Kaden.

Dean Louis Marschel

Dean L. Marschel, age 55, of Annandale died Thursday, September 20, 2012 due to a construction accident while working for Bituminous Paving Company near Hankinson, ND.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with Funeral Services held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Annandale with Fr. Victor Valencia officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Annandale.
Dean Louis Marschel was born September 16, 1957 in St. Cloud to Benjamin and Delores (Looman) Marschel. He attended Annandale Schools and enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. He is survived by sons Jason Hood of Knoxville, TN, Jeremy (Abby) Hood of Rogers, sisters & brothers Karen Oberg of Annandale, Duane (Shari) of Eden Prairie, David (Donna) of Buffalo, Dennis (Mae) of Buffalo, Douglas (Coleen) of Buffalo, Linda (Joe) Baker of Maple Lake, Darrel (special friend Mona) of Annandale, Judy (Guy) Negley of Maple Lake, Donald (Dorothy) of Buffalo, DeVan of St. Michael, and sister in law Joni Marschel of Annandale. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Daniel, brother in law John Oberg, sister in law Cindy Marschel, and great nephew Adam Otto.
The urn bearer will be Godchild Tayler Dean Marschel and the music for the service will be provided by St. Ignatius Music Ministry. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Edward Henry Pramann

Edward H. Pramann, age 79, of Clearwater died Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at Zion United Methodist Church, South Haven with Pastor Ruth Hograbe officiating. Burial will be at Zion Cemetery in South Haven. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Kimball and one hour prior to the service, Monday, at the church. A prayer service will be held 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Edward Henry Pramann was born on September 27, 1933 at home in Fairhaven Township to Edward and Elsie (Schram) Pramann. He graduated with the Class of 1951 from Kimball High School. On April 10, 1954, Edward was united in marriage to Jeanette Triebel at Concordia Lutheran Church in Fairhaven. Ed farmed all of his live and loved what he did. He enjoyed being outside, riding four-wheeler, playing cards and farming.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette; children & their spouses Gary & Joyce of South Haven, Mark & Laura of Shoreview, Joan & Evy Heinen of South Haven, Rudy & Jan of Clearwater, Tom & Jeanne of Castlewood, SD and Randy of Shakopee; fifteen grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother Robert of Big Bear Lake, CA; sisters Elsie Player of Rancho Cordova, CA, Fern Wittenberg of South Haven and Bernice Zweig & her husband Paul of Shoreview; and sister in law Shirley Pramann of New Hope. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother Warren; and sisters Lorraine Bechtel and Kathleen Pramann.
Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care, Kimball.

David William Gothier

David W. Gothier, age 51, of South Haven died Monday, October 1, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Kimball with Rev. Dave Milz officiating. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale and at the Church one hour prior to services. A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
David William Gothier was born December 30, 1960 in Minneapolis to William E. and Margaret E. (Gillespie) Gothier. He graduated from Kimball High School with the Class of 1978. On September 28, 2007 David was united in marriage to Patty Smith. He has worked for Malco Products for 35 years currently as a Plant Superintendant. He was a member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians. David enjoyed fishing, golfing, shooting pool, playing cards (Davey Vegas), all sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings, and the outdoors. His warmth & humor will always be deeply remembered by all his family & friends.
He is survived by his wife Patty of South Haven; father William Gothier of Yountville, CA; daughter Alicia Gothier of California; step daughters Michelle (Clyde) Marquette of South Haven, Amanda Wittenberg of South Haven; mother-in-law Eva Smith of Kimball; brothers & sisters Gregory (Irene) of St. Cloud, Susan (Curt) Odden of Clear Lake, Lisa (Scott) Holen of Watertown, Patty (Troy) Veitenheimer of Bloomington, Rick of St. Cloud, Mike of St. Cloud, Tom of St. Cloud, Tim (Jen) of Fergus Falls, Robert of St. Cloud. David adored his four grandsons Adam, Levi, Nathan and Ethan Marquette. He is preceded in death by his mother Margaret; brother Gary; nephew Christopher; and father-in-law Sherrill Smith.

Marleen Esther (Huttner) Nelson

Marleen E. Nelson, age 90, of South Haven formerly of Minneapolis died Monday, September 24, 2012 at Parkview Care Center, Buffalo.
Funeral services will be held 12 Noon on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with visitation one hour prior. Pastor Highland Goodman will officiate and burial will be at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Annandale.
Marleen Esther Nelson was born September 14, 1922 in Minneapolis to Henry and Esther (Swanson) Huttner. She married Oliver H. Nelson on December 9, 1939 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 2001. She was a former member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Minneapolis and enjoyed cooking, entertaining, the holidays, reading, and traveling.
She is survived by her son Dale (Candace) Nelson of Starbuck, daughter Denise (Keith) Kohn of South Haven, sister Marjorie Larson of Brooklyn Park, grandchildren Sheri (Mike) Neiger & Andy Kohn, great grandchildren Rodney & Mike Becker, Brian, Kyle & Mikey Neiger. She was preceded in death by her husband, infant sister, granddaughter Terrie Nelson, and sister Louella Obinger.
The pallbearers will be her grandson and great grandsons. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.

Robert Allen Anderson

Robert A. Anderson, age 69, of Annandale died peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Thursday, August 23, 2012.
Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 31, 2012 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Pastor Pamela Nickel officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Robert Allen Anderson was born March 6, 1943 in Minneapolis to William and Teresa (Lindgren) Anderson. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. Bob worked as a baker at numerous stores, was an over the road trucker for a short time and served as the chef at the Thayer Hotel in Annandale in the ‘90’s. He enjoyed Minnesota sports, horseracing, golf, music fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his children Debra (Kelly) Fries of Golden Valley and Richard Anderson of Fridley; grandchildren Taylor and Jacob; brother Donald (Paulette) Anderson of Mesquite, NV; sister Katie VanOsdel of Annandale; nieces Chrissy (Alan) Erdmann and Stephany Anderson; nephew Brian (Tammy) Anderson; and companion Pamela Halupczok.

Rev. Peter Julius Seaberg

Rev. Peter J. Seaberg age 74, of Annandale died Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with a prayer service 7 p.m. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Salem Lutheran Church, 90 Riverside Drive SE, St. Cloud with Rev. Wayne Anderson officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the church service. Burial will be in St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale. Memorials can be made to your place of worship.
Peter Julius Seaberg was born June 21, 1938 in Red Wing to the late Marvin and Claudia (Fisher) Seaberg. He married Judith E. Ott on June 9, 1962 in Joliet, Illinois. He was a 1956 graduate of Red Wing High School, 1961 graduate of Carthage College, Carthage, IL and 1965 graduate of Northwestern Lutheran Theological Seminary, Minneapolis. He served as Pastor of East and West Sveadahl Lutheran Churches, St. James, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Pine City, and St. John’s Lutheran Church, Annandale. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud. Pete enjoyed playing cards with his buddies, singing in the choir with his friends, traveling lots of places with his wife, watching his sons (and the Vikings) play ball, and watching his grandchildren grow and develop into unique and beautiful human beings.
He is survived by his wife Judith of Annandale, sons and their wives Eric & Mary of Baltimore, MD, Craig & Nancy of Bloomington, Michael & Debra of Dassel, Daniel & Nichole of Annandale, 11 grandchildren Meghan, Andrew, Laura, Annie, Michelle, Emily, Dylan, Jacob, Charlie, Henry, and Tommy, sister Sharon & David Guyott of Eagan, brother Jeffrey & Barbara Seaberg of Red Wing, sisters and brothers in law Janet & Gary Sanders of Joliet, Joal & Sally Ott of Joliet, and also many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The honorary pallbearers will be Pete’s grandchildren. The organist for the Memorial Service will be Charles Echols and the music for the Prayer Service will be provided by Mark & Ardis Nelson. The arrangements were entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
