Odelia E. "Toots" Trocinski, 79, LaCrescent, MN, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 at the LaCrescent Health Care Center, in LaCrescent.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8 at the Church of the Crucifixion in LaCrescent with Rev. Msgr. Donald W. Grubish officiating. Burial will be Crucifixion Cemetery.
Benson, Raymond A.
Raymond A. Benson, 83, Peterson MN, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Rushford, MN.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 7 at Grace Lutheran Church in Peterson with Rev. Frank Kerkemeyer officiating. Burial was in the East Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
Kiehne, Anna Mae
Anna Mae Kiehne, 82, Spring Valley, MN and formerly of Harmony, MN and Preston, MN, died Sunday, March 5, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, MN.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 9 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Spring Valley with Rev. Dennis Timmerman officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Preston.
Kauphusman, Jean Ann
Jean Ann Kauphusman, 61, of 873 East Broadway, died Saturday, March 4, 2000 at her home.
She was born June 8, 1938 in Winona to Eugene and Bernell (Schultz) Graves. She married John C. Kauphusman on July 26, 1968 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Parish and the Winona County Humane Society.
Jean loved her husband, children and grandchildren very much. She also had a special love of animals.
She is survived her husband, John of Winona; three sons, Thomas (Joan), Edward (Karen) and John Jr. (Heidi) Kauphusman, all of Winona; a daughter, Jennifer (Ronald) Husolo of Rockford, IL; and six grandsons, Patrick, Justin, Paul, John, Tyler and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial was offered Tuesday, March 7 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church with Rev. Robert G. Meyer officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rick Haws, Dan Eichman, Dave and Dan Kauphusman, Al Greenwood and Dave Schultz.

Dyar, Frieda D.
Frieda D. Dyar, 95, St. Charles, MN, died Sunday, March 5, 2000 at Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles.
She was born April 5, 1904 in St. Paul to John and Bertha (Raddatz) Nussloch. At the age of five she moved with her family to Lewiston, MN, where her father farmed and operated a gas station. Frieda graduated from Lewiston High School and Winona State Teachers College. She taught in rural schools including Fremont School until she and Lyman Dyar were married on June 28, 1940 in Lewiston. They farmed south of St. Charles. Lyman died in 1970.
Frieda was involved in teachers events, Homemakers, and activities of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she was a member.
She entered Whitewater Healthcare Center in St. Charles in February of 1994.
Survivors include two daughters, Joanne Zimmerman of Rochester and Judy Reisdorf of Sunnyvale, CA; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. David Hodel officiating. Burial will be in Saratoga Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services Wednesday at the church.

Jacobsen, Marjorie Hall
Marjorie Hall Jacobsen passed away on Monday, February 28, 2000 of congestive heart failure brought on by complications of pancreatic cancer.
She was born July 11, 1921 to Dr. and Mrs. James Clark Graham in Fond du Lac, WI. She grew up in Ripon, WI where her father was Dean of Ripon College. She graduated from Ripon College where she met and married Edward Jacobsen on December 22, 1943.
Marjorie and Ed lived in Winona for 46 years where she was very active in the community and performed volunteer work. She was a member of the Winona Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, a founding board member of Treasures Galore, member of the board of the Housing Redevelopment Authority, and a Hospice volunteer. She was a member of the Winona Art Class and was a former member of the League of Women Voters. Marj was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Edward, now residing in Portland, OR; sons, Michael of Dallas, TX and Graham of Portland, OR; two sisters; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Winona this spring, date and place to be determined.
Marjorie would prefer memorials be given to Winona Area Hospice Services in lieu of flowers.

Stipak, Jane L.
Jane L. Stipak, 82, of 180 Riverview Drive, Dakota, MN, died Monday, March 6, 2000 at the C&R Unit of Community Memorial Hospital.
She was born June 24, 1917 at Mt. Pleasant, PA, to John and Mary (Kociolowski) Mikolajczyk. She married Theophil Stipak on October 11, 1941 in Detroit. He preceded her in death in 1989.
She worked at Uniroyal in Detroit for eighteen years, and was also a homemaker. She moved to Winona County in 1988.
She is survived by brothers, Joseph Mikolajczyk of Redford, MI and Albin Mikolajczyk of Orange, CA; a half-brother, Ted Duda of East Point, MI; sisters, Adeline Welc of Detroit, MI, and Valerie Ruper, St. Clair Shores, MI; and half-sisters, Bridgette Fairfield of St. Clair, MI and Esther Duda, East Point, MI.
She was also preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 10 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary, with Father Charles J. Ward officiating. A rosary will be recited at 10 a.m. prior to the Mass at the Seminary.

Carl von Rohr Heise, 80, of Chula Vista, CA, and formerly of Winona, died Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at Scripps Hospital in Chula Vista.
