Lorraine M. Goodermote, 87, of Mondovi, Wis., died Wednesday, September 4, 2002 at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 8, at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi, with Rev. James Tallman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Lutheran Cemetery in Mondovi.

Wesley, Kathy A.

Kathleen A. Wesley, 63, of rural Waterville, Minn., died at her home Tuesday, September 3, 2002.
Funeral services were Friday, September 6 at Good Counsel Chapel with Rev. Richard Colletti officiating. Burial will be held later.

Anderson, Maxine Engaline

Maxine Engaline Anderson, 80, of Owatonna, Minn., died Thursday, September 5, 2002 at St. Anne Hospice, Winona.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 9, at Aurora Lutheran Church in Havana Township, with Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Burial will be in the Aurora Lutheran Cemetery in Havana Township.

Timm, Josie (Clegg)

Josie (Clegg) Timm, 47, of rural Alma, Wis., passed away suddenly Thursday, September 5, 2002 at Community Memorial Hospital.
Arrangements are pending with the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

McGill, Dr. Robert G.

Dr. Robert George McGill, DDS, 77, of 117 East King St., Winona, died Monday, September 2, 2002 at the Sauer Memorial Home.
Dr. McGill was born in Winona on November 2, 1924, the son of Gerhart "Cappy" and Mae (Kessler) McGill. He attended St. Mary's College from 1946-1948, then transfered to Marquette University where he earned his degree in dentistry. Dr. McGill practiced in Winona from 1954 until retiring on December 1, 1989.
In his youth, he was a avid baseball fan and player. He played on the Polish National Alliance Team, and also played in the semi pro Southern Mini league. He first played for the Mankato, MN. Merchants, who won the state championship and then also played for the Winona Chiefs.
He served his country as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marines from 1943 to 1946.
On Aug. 21, 1951 he married Lila M. Mueske at St. Thomas Pro-Cathedral in Winona.
Dr. McGill is a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart; Westfield Golf Club; YMCA; American, Minnesota and Winona County Dental Association, and is a past president of the county dental association; president of the John Latch Athletic Board and former member of American Legion Post #9, Winona.
He is survived by his wife, Lila; sons, Robert G. (Kathleen) McGill, Jr.; New York, N.Y.; James P. McGill, Faribault, MN.; David J. McGill, Danube, MN. Two grandchildren, Brittany and Robert Keane McGill; a sister, Dorothy Kaczorowski, LaCrosse, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, September 6, 2002 at 2:00P.M. at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart with Rev. John Sauer and Rev. Msgr. Roy Literski concelebrating. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Winona, where members of American Legion Post #9 conducted military burial rites at the graveside.
Casket bearers were Dennis Cleveland, Ondrej Lubinski, Steve Jahimiak, Darol Lee, William Koslo and Michael Kaczorowski.
Honorary bearers were Warren Wunderlich, Dr. Leon English, Jule Schneider, Kenneth Poblocki, Raymond Jahimiak and Dr. Carroll Hopf. Memorial gifts may be given to the donor's choice.
Arrangements by the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Schmitt, Wilbert A.

Wilbert A. "Schmitty" Schmitt, age 94, of Fountain City, WI, died on Monday, September 16, 2002 at Community Memorial Hospital, Winona.
Wilbert was born on October 9, 1907, in Fountain City to Victor and Anna (Moore) Schmitt. On October 9, 1935, he married Bertha B. Wolfe, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fountain City, WI and she preceded him in death on May 26, 2002.
Schmitty had a zest for life and a love for his family, music and gardening. He was a self employed electrician in Fountain City and also employed for 30 years at Fountain City Brewery. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Winona Eagles Aerie 1243.
He is survived by a son Dean (Mary) Schmitt of Fountain City; two daughters, Kay (Duane) Duellman of Fountain City and Peggy (Larry) Ebert, of Winona; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a sister Ida (Julius) Justin of Fountain City and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers: Donald, Kenneth and Roy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, September 19, 2002 at 2:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fountain City, WI with Rev. John Parr and Rev. J. Thomas Finucan, concelebrating. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Fountain City.
Visitation will be at the church on Thursday, September 19, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
Casket bearers will be his grandsons.
Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fountain City or Grand View Care Center, 620 Grand View Ave., Blair, WI.
Arrangements are being completed by the Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Fountain City, WI.

Jenkinson, Dale E.

Dale E. Jenkinson, 89, of Callista Court, died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Lake Winona Manor.
He was born January 4, 1913 in Ridgeway, Minn., to Edward and Winnie (Stinson) Jenkinson. He married Winifred A. Kerns on October 20, 1934 in Winona.
Dale and his wife, Winifred farmed in the Wilson area for 47 years, after which they retired and moved to Winona in 1989.
He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish at Wilson, Catholic Aid, and a member of many farm agencies in which he was very active.
He is survived by his loving wife, Winifred of Winona; five children: Darrell Jenkinson of Winona, Darlene (LaVerne) Bartelson of Wilson, Robert (Donna) Jenkinson of Wilson, Bernita (Gary) Langowski of Wilson, and Nadine Jenkinson of Winona. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren with whom he enjoyed playing cards and dice games: Kim (Kathryn) Bartelson, Kayla (David) Ritter, Jody (Bill) Rumpca, James (Laurie) Jenkinson, Jackie (Billy) Gibbons, Troy (Sheila) Langowski, Tracy (Pete) Hutkowski, Travis (Sarah) Langowski, Kevin (Carrie) Bartelson and Keta (Mark) Lindstrom; twenty-five great grandchildren, and another baby to be born in November.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, three brothers and a sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, at Immaculate Conception Church in Wilson, with Rev. John M. Sauer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of the Mass.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters.
Memorials may be directed to Immaculate Conception Church, Lake Winona Manor, or Home and Community Options.

Losinski, Tami Jo

Tami Jo Losinski, 41, of rural Trempealeau, Wis., died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at her home.
She was born May 29, 1961 in Winona to Wesley and Lorraine (Simon) Roach. She married David Losinski on February 4, 1989 in Winona.
Survivors include her husband, David; a son, Doug, at home; her mother, Lorraine (Dan) Schultz of Lewiston, Minn., paternal grandparents, John and Eleanor Roach of Winona; a sister, Sheril Frame of Minnesota City, Minn.; two half-brothers, Richard (Rebecca) Evens of Little Fork, Minn., and Travis (Becky) Roach of St. Cloud, Minn.; two half-sisters, Crystal (Andy) Mazur of Huntley, Ill., and Allison (Mark) Green of Kenosha, Wis.; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Tami Jo was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Julie Styx, a brother, Dan Roach and her maternal grandparents.
Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 19, at Edison Funeral Home in Independence, Wis. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Edison Funeral Home of Independence, Wis. is assisting with the arrangements.

Corcoran, Richard T.

Richard T. Corcoran passed away Friday, August 30, 2002 at the Bay Pines VA Hospital in Petersburg, Fla.

Repinski, Richard L. "Dick"

Richard L. "Dick" Repinski, age 63, of Fountain City, Wis., died suddenly Wednesday, September 11, 2002, while golfing at the Ettrick, Wisconsin Golf Course.
He was born November 18, 1938, in Buffalo County to Harry and Henrietta (Drazkowski) Repinski. He married Mara L. Acheff on June 24, 1961 at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Winona.
Dick attended Catholic grade school, Cotter High School, and obtained a B.A. degree from Winona State University in 1961. Upon graduation he was employed by Metropolitan Insurance Co. as an agent and later was an Assistant Production Manager at Wincraft. In 1984, he joined Boelter Industries as Production Manager and was then promoted to Operation Manager, a position he held at the time of his death.
During his children's school years, Dick was active as a Boy Scout leader and served on the Gateway Council. He was a past president of the Grappler's Club and also a former member of the Elks and Exchange Clubs.
His family has comfort in knowing he was enjoying a game of golf with his lifelong golf buddies at the time of his passing and is proud of his having a hole-in-one ten years ago. Among other activities he enjoyed were softball, cards and crossword puzzles. He was an avid history buff and a loyal Green Bay Packer fan. Although Dick wore "many hats, " time spent with his grandson, Gideon, was his top priority.
Dick is survived by his wife, Mara; two sons, Richard (fiancee Shanna Brooks) of St. Paul, Minn., and George of Cochrane, Wis.; twin daughters, Margaret Repinski of Belleview, Mich. and Elizabeth (Kevin) Ristow of Burnsville, Minn.; one grandson, Gideon Repinski; his mother, Henrietta Repinski of Callista Court in Winona; two sisters, Lois Sherry of Mesa, Ariz., and Mary Jane Knitter of Trempealeau, Wis.; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harry.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 20, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church in Winona, with Rev. Daniel Dernek officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, at the church.
Honorary pallbearers will be lifelong friends Donald Merchlewitz, Bernie Jazewski, Roger Czaplewski, Art Czaplewski, Ralph Czaplewski, Eugene Bork, Frank Wieczorek and Charles Evenson.
The family requests memorials be given to the donor's choice.
Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
