Alice E. Dobbelaere, 81, of Superior died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2001, in St. Mary's Medical Center.
She is survived by a son, Dennis (Donna); a daughter, Lori (James) Klug; four grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a sister-in-law, Marion Dobbelare.
Visitation: 10 until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial Thursday in St. Francis Xavier Church, Superior. Burial in St. Francis cemetery, Superior. Arrangements by Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home.
Lynette J. Dougan
Lynette J. Dougan, 47, of Superior died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, in St. Mary's Medical Center Hospice Unit in Duluth.
Lynette was born Jan. 16, 1954, to Mildred Tullberg and George Winkler in Superior. She was a lifelong area resident. Lynette was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Poplar, having been baptized and confirmed there. She married
Michael Dougan on July 8, 1995.
She was preceded in death by her father, George Winkler; sister Diane Winkler; and brother Daniel Winkler.
She is survived by her husband, Michael; a daughter, Nicole Danberg and a son, Larry Danberg, both of Iron Mountain, Minn.; her mother, Mildred Winkler of Poplar; sisters Georgianna (Kenny) Linder of Alborn and Carolyn (Paul) Morris of Carrollton, Ohio; and a brother, Jody (Jennifer) Winkler of Superior.
Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday in Downs Funeral Home, Superior. Service at 11 a.m. Friday in Peace Lutheran Church in Poplar, with the Rev. Greg Gullicksrud officiating. Interment in Lakeside cemetery. Downs Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Marjorie Roberts
Marjorie Roberts, 80, formerly of Hughitt Avenue and Missouri Avenue, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, in the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Marjorie is survived by her sister, June Roberts.
A memorial service was held at Courage Center. Inurnment in Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Downs Funeral Home.
Jean Myers
Jean Myers, 76, a lifelong Superior resident, died after a lengthy illness Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at home with her family present.
She was born Dec. 7, 1924, in Superior to Fannie (Daly) and Charles Heirman. She married
Donald Myers on Sept. 12, 1981, and would have celebrated 20 years of marriage next month.
She worked as a secretary at Diocese of Superior for 27 years at the chancery office, retiring in 1995.
Jean was a lifelong member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where she served as a Eucharistic minister, and was a member of the Rug Ladies and the ladies club that served the dinners. She was a member of the Belgian Club Ladies Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court 1190.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Trianoski, in 1975; a son, Michael Trianoski, in 1968; and her parents, Charles in 1984 and Fannie in 1985.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; a daughter, Mary (Jerry) Hagen of Superior; sons Tom (Sharon) Trianoski of Iron River and Jim (Linda) Trianoski of Superior; stepsons Donald Myers Jr. and Michael (Jodi) Myers, both of Portland, Ore.; a stepdaughter, Linda (Ronald) Gulick of Hayward, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters Marie Marjala of Eau Claire, Wis., and Kathlyn (George) VanVynckt and Sharlene (Dale) O'Brien, both of Superior; many nieces and nephews; and a special cousin, Lorraine Johnson.
Visitation: 5 p.m. today in Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home with a 7 p.m. prayer service. Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Father Dean Buttrick officiating.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Mike Trianoski, Dennis Hagen, David Hagen, Mark Trianoski, Steven Trianoski and Travis Warren.
Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Myers and nieces and nephews. Burial in St. Francis cemetery.
Memorials maybe made to St. Mary's Hospice, Duluth.
Alice M. Sajec
Alice M. Sajec, 84, Superior, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
She is survived by a son, Carl of Edmonds, Wash.; daughter Collene Wexler of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 9:30 until the 10:30 a.m. service Thursday in William Downs-LeSage Funeral Home, Superior. Burial in Calvary cemetery at a later date.
Marian N. Glanville
Marian N. Glanville, 65, of Apache Junction, Ariz., formerly of Superior, died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2001, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Duluth.
She is survived by her partner, Sharon Bachmann; daughters Joan (James) McSherry, Lauri (John) Johnson and Lisa (Jo Into) Glanville; a granddaughter; four sisters; and three brothers.
Visitation: 11 until the noon funeral Thursday in Downs Funeral Home, Superior.
JOHN A. "JACK" KNUTSON
John A. "Jack" Knutson, 83, died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, in St. Francis Home in the Park.
Survivors include a son, Randy Knutson; daughters Susan Wilder, Nancy (Mark) Hawley and Patty Downs; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters; nieces, nephews and other family.
Visitation: 1 until the 2 p.m. service Monday in William Downs-LeSage Funeral Home. Burial in Graceland cemetery.
HARRIET CAMERON WILLIAMS
Harriet Cameron Williams, 91, a lifelong resident of Superior died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, in Miller-Dwan Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Cameron, in 1964; brothers Gordon and Lawrence Nelson; and a sister, Helen Ronn.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Williams; a son, Richard (Phyllis) Cameron of Walker, Minn.; a daughter, Joan (Stan) Hendershot of Hermantown; brothers Vernon Nelson of Oregon and Roy (Virginia) Nelson of Superior; a sister, Dorothy Holmstrand of Superior; granddaughters Lisa Pease and Amy Antonich; and a great-granddaughter, Josie Antonich.
Visitation: 10 a.m. until the noon service Tuesday in Pilgrim Lutheran Church. Burial in Graceland cemetery. Arrangements by Thompson-Hegstrom Funeral Home.
RAYMOND WILBUR WUORI
Raymond Wilbur Wuori, 73, of South Range, formerly of Maple and Wentworth, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Elida; brothers Oiva and John (Angie); sisters Alice (Arvo) Walimaki and Ellen Hill; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation: 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service Friday in Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church, Marengo. Interment in Maple Grove cemetery. Arrangements by Roberts Funeral Home of Ashland.
CARLA J. WILLIAMS
Carla J. Williams, 70, of South Range died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in her home, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Carla is survived by her husband, Charles; daughters Darla Williams and Darlene Martin; brothers Orvin and Jim (Nancy) Clark; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday in Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home and continues from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday in Itasca Presbyterian Church. Burial in Barnes Memorial cemetery.
ROBERT E. ASHBAUGH
Robert E. Ashbaugh, 80, of Tower Avenue died Monday, Nov. 12, 2001, in St. Francis Home in the Park.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; a daughter, Diane (Robert) Dembroski; sisters Georgia Yaros and Leona Jablonski; a granddaughter, Amanda Dembroski; several nieces and nephews; and close friends Frank Kotter and Bill Pink.

TIMOTHY W. BURKHAMER
Timothy W. Burkhamer, 39, of Superior passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2001.
He was born Jan. 3, 1962, in Janesville, Wis., to Richard and Shirley (Coleman) Burkhamer. Tim was a member of the Boiler Makers Union. He enjoyed fishing, art, the outdoors, children and computer technology.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Jara Burkhamer; son Tory Burkhamer; best friend and companion Karla Haugen; special companions Ryan, Rebecca and Sara; and sisters Robin (Ken) Pressley, Jorjanna (Jimi) Hacken, RuthAnn Peterson, and Lisa and Dusty Burkhamer.
