She was born May 20, 1941, St. Paul, MN to parents, Everett H. and Alpha J. (Anderson) Barnes
John R. Meyers and Joan were united in marriage Nov. 23, 1963 at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, MN and were blessed with 4 children.
Loved and forever missed by: children: David (Mary) Meyers of Eden Prairie, Lynn (Rick Nelson) Meyers of Prior Lake, MN, LeAnne Meyers of Prior Lake, Leslie (Steve) Wight of New Market; grandchildren: Matthew, Elise, Jenna, Ashlyn, Natalie & Lauren Meyers, Hailey and Gabriel Wight; two special 4-legged friends, Rynka & Sully
Preceded by her husband, John Meyers; parents, Barney and Alpha Barnes
Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 10th, 4-8 PM, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Prior Lake, MN and also 1 hour prior the service at church on Monday
Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Feb. 11th, 11AM, Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, 5025 Knox Ave S, Minneapolis, MN
Interment will be at Lakewood cemetery, Minneapolis, MN
Joan was a nurse at Mt. Olivet Careview in Minneapolis for 26 years. She enjoyed going out to eat, shopping, walking and especially spending time with family and friends. She was a special Nana to her grandchildren.

Keith M. Thaves, age 90 of Jordan passed away Saturday, February 2nd, 2008 at St. Gertrude’s Care Center in Shakopee.

Elaine was a cook for 30 years with the Prior Lake school district. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, Quilters, and Bible Class. Elaine was also a greeter at church.

Joseph was passionate about farming and the land. You could find Joseph in his “shop” mingling with his friends and family. He served our country in the US Army. He was a member of the PL VFW, New Market Sportsmen Club and St. Catherine’s cemetery Board. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the summer and winter.
