Lori Ann Engel ., age 49 of Shakopee passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at her home.

She was born Feb. 8, 1959 to parents Noel and Pauline (Eldredge) Conrad in Westbrook, MN.

She married James E. Engel May 19, 1979 at the Highwater Lutheran Church, Lamberton, MN. They were blessed with 3 children.

Loved and forever missed by her husband, James; children: Jessica (Chad) Lind of Rochester, Kelly Engel of Stillwater, Tiffany (fiancé Dan Litz) Engel of Chaska; grandchildren: Zachary Jabas; father, Noel (Joanne) Conrad of Lamberton; siblings: Kathy Imker of Little Canada, MN, Cindy (Lonnie) Goettig of Marshall, MN, Nancy (Greg) Parker of Belle Plaine, MN, Brad Conrad of Shakopee; 3 step-sisters, 1 step-brother, nieces, nephews and many other relatives

Preceded by her mother, Pauline Conrad

Visitation will be Friday, March 7, 2008, 4-8 PM, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Shakopee, MN also one hour prior the service at church on Saturday

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 11 AM, Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shakopee, MN

Lori was a very active member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Church. She was a 1977 graduate of Lamberton High School and received a 2 year degree at Granite Falls Vocational Electronics Institute.

Ann “Sue” Mohlin

Ann “Sue” Mohlin, 87 of Shakopee formerly of Jordan and Lindstrom, MN passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2008 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Shakopee, MN

She was born April 25, 1920 in Great Falls, MT

Parents: John E. and Gertrude (Hembre) Webster

She married Carl J. Mohlin.

Loved and forever missed by her loving family: daughters, Annette Burton of Ontario, CA, Sue (Werner) Deutsch of Shakopee; sons: Michael (Mary Jane) Mohlin of Shakopee, Dick Mohlin of Jordan; 23 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren

Preceded by her husband Carl; son: Jack Mohlin; daughter, Jan Pieper; grandson, Timothy Schmitt; and her parents

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6th, 4-7 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Shakopee, MN. Funeral Service to follow at 7 PM

Interment will be on Monday, March 10th at Lakewood cemetery, Minneapolis, MN

Sue was a cook at Wampach Restaurant, Shakopee for 39 years. She loved to bake for everyone. She also enjoyed fishing especially with her husband, Carl.

Pallbearers will be Tony Mohlin, Erick Mohlin, Bob Meyer, Rick Meyer, Tim Deutsch, Rosemary Mohlin

Della Mae Peik

Della Mae Peik, age 92 of the Prior Lake area passed away on Sunday April 27, 2008 at Community Assisted Living in Shakopee.

Della was born April 16, 1916 at Spring Lake Township, MN. Her parents were Edward & Bertha (Borchardt) Hafermann.

Loved and forever missed by: sons Stan (Debbie) Schultz of Osage, Ivan (Deb) Schultz of Champlin, grandchildren Jamie Schultz, Derek (Shauna) Schultz, Julie ( Mike) Stella. Kate (Luke) Sawatsky, Jon Schultz, great grandchildren Casey & Carter Schultz.

Preceded by husbands Leslie Schultz & George Peik, infant daughter Lois Schultz, parents, sisters Adeline Ward & Doris Klingberg.

Della was a longtime active member of Lydia Zion United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Women’s Society of Christian Service. Della moved off the farm and into Prior Lake on October 31, 1979. She loved gardening, fishing & MN Twins Baseball.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 30th, 4 til 8 PM at Ballard–Sunder Funeral Home in Prior Lake and also at the church 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, May 1, 11:00 AM at Zion United Methodist Church in Lydia.

Pallbearers will be Jon Schultz, Derek Schultz, Luke Sawatsky, Mike Stella, David Schroeder, Kevin Schroeder. Jamie Schultz will be an honorary pallbearer. Interment will be at Concord Hill cemetery.

Robert “Bob” H. Breeggemann

Robert “Bob” H. Breeggemann passed away at his home on Saturday, April 26, 2008.

Bob was born Nov. 6, 1934 to Frank and Dorothy (Grommesch) Breeggemann in Marystown, MN.

He married Deloris Hames on April 27, 1957 at the Church of the Visitation Catholic Church in Minneapolis, MN.

Bob was an original member of the Jordan Alers Baseball team and a member of the Marystown baseball team. He was a longtime farmer in Jordan, a former realtor for Sandey Real Estate and Jeff Hennen Real Estate. He enjoyed bowling in the couples league and loved to watch baseball especially the Jordan Brewers.

Visitation will be Wed., April 30th 4-8 PM, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Jordan and also one hour prior the service at church on Thursday.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 1, 2008, 11:00 AM, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Jordan, MN

Loved and forever missed by his wife Dellie Breeggemann; sons: Randy (Amy) Breeggemann, Fred (Sheri) Breeggemann, Kevin (Lisa) Breeggemann, Russ(Barb) Breeggemann all of Jordan, MN, Joel (Michael) Breeggemann of Minneapolis, MN; 5 grandchildren: Michael, Danny, Jacob, Dylan and Hannah Breeggemann;

Mother, Dorothy “Toots” Breeggemann of Marystown; brothers: Tom Breeggemann of Elmwood, WI, Mike (Emma) Breeggemann of Liberty, MO, Rick (Linda) Breeggemann of Marystown; sisters, Pat (Lee) Kness of Savage, Ruth Klehr of Jordan, Anne (Tom) Walerius of Plymouth, Sherry Poppler of Shakopee, Cindy (Mark) Soller of Jordan and brother-in-law, Bob Hames of Nimrod, MN

Loretta Wermerskirchen

Loretta Wemerskirchen, age 88 of the Gardens at St. Gertrude’s Care Center in Shakopee passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.

She was born June 29, 1919 at Union Hill, MN. Her parents were Joe & Rose (Schwingler) Nytes.

Loretta married Melvin Wermerskirchen on October 7, 1941 at Union Hill, MN.

Survivors include: daughters Katie (Patrick) Sauer of Golden Valley, Patty Wemerskirchen of Brooklyn Park, Deb (Jim) Genellie of Hopkins, Gail ( Mark) Kragthorpe of Jordan, daughter-in law Glenda Laffen of Jordan, son-in law Owen Kragthorpe of Jordan, 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded by husband Melvin Wermeskirchen, daughter Diane Kragthorpe, son Dave Wermerskirchen, parents Joe & Rose Nytes, brothers Leonard Nytes, Ted Nytes, Howard Nytes & Norbert Nytes, sisters Lucy Karcewski & Roseann Shaughnessy.

Loretta was a member of the Chritian Mothers Society & The Catholic Aid Association. She loved to spend time at the cabin with her family. She loved to fish, travel, gardening & sewing.

Visitation: will be Tuesday April 29, 9:30 till 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 29, 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jordan

Interment will be at Calvary cemetery in Jordan. Pallbearers are Krista Majerus, Lisa Laughlin, Kelly Sauer, Molly Sauer, Heather Briese, Lindsay Jandl, Melissa Maschenik & Katie Genellie.
