Jerome E. Eischens, age 65 of Prior Lake passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 27, 2008.
Jerome was born April 30, 1943 at New Market, MN. His parents were Martin & Caroline (Schoenecker) Eischens.
He was married
to Ann (Ruzicka) Eischens on April 15, 1972 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague.
He was preceded in death by his parents Martin & Caroline Eischens, brothers LeRoy Eischens & Gerald Eischens, sister Bernadine Benes.
Jerome is survived by wife Ann of Prior Lake, sister Lou Tritz of South St. Paul, brothers Harold (Katherine) Eischens of Topia, MN, Br. Amborse Eischens, OFM of Louisville, KY, Walter (Jeannie) Eischens of Jordan, many nieces & nephews.
Jerome lived in the area his entire life, he was raised in the New Market area, his mother owned the St. Patrick store, and he worked at Robin Hood/Con Agra in New Prague.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 1, 2008, 4 till 8 PM at the Ballard–Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant St. SE in Prior Lake. There also will be visitation at the church 1 hour prior to services.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, June 2, 2008, 11 AM at The Church of St. Michael, 16311 Duluth Ave. SE in Prior Lake.
Interment will be at Credit River cemetery.

Arlene Beverly Miasel, age 69 of Prior Lake passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 27th, 2008.
Arlene was born September 11, 1938 at Minneapolis, MN. Her parents were Donald & Esther (Larson) Gustafson.
She is survived by daughters, Debra of New Prague, Julie of Bloomington; son, Dennis (Kim) of Reno, NV; daughter-in law, Barbara of Satellite Beach, FL; granddaughter, Rachel of New Prague; sister, Donna (Carl) of Jupiter, FL; brother James (Judy) of Plymouth; sisters-in law, Janice of Chesterfield, Township, MI, Sandra of Warren, MI; many nieces & nephews.
preceded in death by husband William “Bill” Miasel, son Dann, parents Donald & Esther Gutafson, grandparents, mother & father-in law.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, May 31, 11 AM at Ballard–Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant St. SE in Prior Lake with visitation from 10 till 11 AM.
Arlene was a member of the American Legion Aux. Post 137 in Jacksonville, FL. She was a lifelong member of Prior Lake VFW Post 6208. She was a board member of the National Air Disaster Alliance & Foundation.
She had worked at Mediacom in Savage and at Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society or Gunderson Place in Bloomington.

Craig C. Olson, age 54 of the Shakopee/Prior Lake area passed away at his home on Sunday, May 25, 2008.
Craig was born December 24, 1953 at Darlington, WI. His parents were Lyle & Ruth (Conger) Olson.
Craig married
Mary Stuessler Olson September 1, 1984 at Cross Plains, WI.
He is survived by wife Mary Stuesser Olson, children Bryn Olson, Ian Olson all of the Shakopee/ Prior Lake area, siblings Kirsten (Roy Schmidt) Olson of Collegeville, PA, Kim ( Kathleen) Olson of Mt. Vernon, WA, Ingrid (Mike Houle) Olson of Platteville, WI, Kirk (Teresa) Olson of Darlington, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lyle & Ruth Olson, sister-in law Karin Olson.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, May 31st at 11:00 AM at the Prior Lake High School, 7575 150th Street West, Savage, MN 55378. Visitation will be at the School on Saturday from 9:00 til 11:00 AM.
Memorials are preferred to the MN ALS Association or the Prior Lake Safe Haven for Youth.

Lawrence “Bill” Ryan
Lawrence “Bill” Ryan, age 81 of Prior Lake passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at his home.
Bill was born September 15, 1926 at Spring Lake Township. His parents were Henry & Catherine (O’Hern) Ryan.
He married
Germaine (Boehmer) Ryan on October 23, 1948 at St Michael’s Catholic Church in Prior Lake.
Loved and forever missed by wife Germaine Ryan of Prior Lake, children Dave (Jill) Ryan of Prior Lake, Dennis (special friend Susan Schulberg) Ryan of Prior Lake, John (Dawn) Ryan of Prior Lake, 5 grandchildren Jennifer Ryan, Katie Ryan, Lynn Pieper, Amanda Ryan, Tyler Ryan, 2 great grandchildren Kyla & Kade Krohn.
Preceded by son Thomas Ryan, parents Henry & Catherine Ryan, brothers Harold Ryan, Michael Ryan, Patrick Ryan, sisters Cecelia Busse, Eileen Klingberg, Margaret Abeln, Katherine Wickman, Virginia Dellwo.
Bill loved watching car racing, fishing & gardening. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Prior Lake VFW Post 6208. The Prior Lake VFW Veterans Honor Guard provided military honors. Bill worked at Inland Container.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27th, 4 till 8 PM at Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, 4565 Pleasant St. SE, in Prior Lake. There also will be visitation at the church 1 hour prior to service.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 28th, 11:00 AM at The Church of St. Michael, 16311 Duluth Ave. SE in Prior Lake.
Pallbearers will be Jennifer Ryan, Katie Ryan, Lynn Pieper, Amanda Ryan, Tyler Ryan, Dean Pieper.

James “Jim” Langer
James “Jim” M. Langer, age 52 of Minneapolis, MN
passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at his home.
He was born Nov. 25, 1955 in New Prague, MN to parents, Carl and Reola (Peterson) Langer
Preceded by his father, Carl and brother, George
Survived by his partner, Doug Horton of Minneapolis; mother, Reola Langer of Jordan; brother, Robert (Nancy) Langer of Faribault; sister, Sharon (Jim) Rezac of Northfield; sister-in-law: Carolyn Langer of Bloomington and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2008, 9-11 AM, Ballard-Sunder Funeral Home, Jordan, MN with the service to follow at 11 AM. Reverend A. Paul Olson will preside.
Final resting place will be Calvary cemetery, Jordan, MN
Jim loved to garden and was a member of a garden club. He also enjoyed collecting antique glass and was a member of the Fenton Club.
Henrietta Lyda Dau
Henrietta Lyda Dau of Shakopee passed away on Wednesday, May 21st, 2008 at Emerald Crest Care Center in Victoria.
Henrietta was born in Shakopee, MN. Her parents were John & Lydia (Krasean) Bluedorn.
She is survived by daughter Nancy (Ron) Martinson of Hutchinson and family, MN, step daughters Janet (Earl) Sjoberg and their family of Fergus Falls, MN, Dmetra (Charlie) Suydam and their family of Bonney Lake, WA, Diane Dau of Paos, NM; grandchildren: Dawn Ganske, Dan Schulz; great grandchildren
She is preceded by husband Henry Dau, parents John & Lydia Bluedorn & son, Richard Schultz.
Graveside Services will be held in August.
