Robert "Dean" Herring, 55, a resident of Chillicothe, died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Saint Luke's Medical Center in Kansas City.
Herring was born March 20, 1952, in Louisiana, Mo., the son of Oscar H. and Mary E. (Oliver) Herring. He was married to Andrea Kay Knock on Oct. 25, 1975. She survives.
Herring grew up on a farm northeast of Bellflower and was a 1970 graduate of Montgomery County R-II High School.
Herring was a 1974 graduate of Truman State University in Kirksville with a business administration degree. He was employed by General Adjustment Bureau until 1979 at which time he started a business partnership, H&N Adjustment. He served on the Grand River Health Systems board of directors for 15 years as a vice-chairman. He enjoyed breeding and raising cattle. He was a volunteer leader of the 4-H equestrians. He was a licensed private pilot since 1985. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.
Dean is survived by his wife-Andrea; two daughters-Angela Kay Chow and husband, Dr. Frank Michael Chow, Austin, Texas and Deanna Suzanne Herring, Houston, Texas; two sisters-Margaret Gibb and husband, David, of Piper City, Ill. and Mary Lou Herring, of Kansas City and two grandchildren-Allison Marie Chow and Mia Ann Chow.
Funeral services were held on March 20, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home in Chillicothe. Burial was held in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Chillicothe. A family visitation was held March 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Public visitation was held from noon to 9 p.m. on March 19, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Forrest O. Triplett Animal Shelter or the 4-H Equestrians Group in care of Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, MO 64601.

Janney A. McDonald, 73, of Troy passed away at her residence on May 19, 2008.
She was born March 25, 1935, in Oran, a daughter of the late Barney and Elzie Diamond Shelby.
Janney worked as a forklift driver at Lever Brothers from 1960 - 1994.
She is survived by one son: Richard P. McDonald and wife Edith, of Zion, Ill.; three daughters, Mary E. Hornbostel and husband, David, of Rosebud, Kathleen E. Gross and husband, Chuck, of Alton, Ill. and Patricia L. Hefti and husband, John, of Union; three brothers-in-law, Robert E. McDonald, of St. Louis, Michael P. McDonald, of Long Beach, Calif., and Patrick D. McDonald and wife, Debbie, of St. Louis; eight grandchildren: Tina Marie Fleming and husband, Joe, Jennifer Ann Schild and husband Justin, David E. Hornbostel, Daniel P. McDonald, C. Allen Chesser, Kyle R. McCauley, Amy L. McCauley and Shelby E. McCauley and nine great grandchildren: Chelsea P. Fox, Jacob E. Fox, Kyle J. Fleming, Taylor K. McDonald, Ryan P. Schild, Samantha M. Schild, Jenna J. Schild, Taylor E. Chesser and Ariel M. Coyle.
Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home / Troy Chapel. Services were private.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or to the American Heart Association in care of Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, PO Box 222, Troy, MO 63379.

Funeral services for Mary Agnes Mound, 74, of Troy, were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center Chapel in St. Charles. Interment followed in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.
Mrs. Mound died Friday, May 16, 2008, in Troy.
Born Dec. 5, 1933, in St. Charles County, the daughter of Walter and Philomena Noah. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy (Greg Broeker) Newman, of St. Charles and Janice Marie (Steve) Geeding, of Troy; two sons, Timothy Roy (Laura) Mound, of Elsberry and Jefferhy Allen (Stephanie) Mound, of Troy; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Emmett Noah, of Foristell; four sisters, Delores Woods, of St. Peters, Doris (Pete) Regot, Troy, Lucille Jett, of St. Charles and Barbara Lee, of Wright City.
Mound was a homemaker.
Visitation was held from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the funeral and memorial center.

Funeral services for Iralee Schuster, 81, of St. Charles were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the Grace Baptist Church in St. Charles. Interment followed in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Schuster died Sunday, May 18, 2008, in St. Charles.
Born May 27, 1926, in St. Charles, he was the son of Ira and Daisie Glear Schuster. They preceded him in death.
On June 4, 1949, in St. Charles, he married Aletha Schuster.
Survivors include his wife, Aletha Schuster; two sons, Roy (Sherrill) Schuster, of St. Charles, Jim (Serena) Schuster, of O'Fallon; three daughters, Linda (Carl) Blomenkamp, of Springfield, Mo., Leslie (Dave) McCarty, of Troy, Penny (Mark) Christopher, of Jackson, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Irvin Schuster, of Silex and Gerald Schuster, of St. Charles; and one sister, Carol Stout, of St. Charles.
Schuster managed auto parts stores. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church where he sang in the church choir. He served in the Army as a technician 5th Grade during World War II from April 10, 1946 to June 21, 1947.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 and from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the church.
Memorials may be made to Gideons International or SSM Hospice.

A Funeral Mass for Fred Treadway Sr., 85, of Overland, was held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the All Souls Catholic Church in Overland. Interment will follow in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Treadway died Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Delmar Gardens West in Town and Country.
Born Nov. 2, 1922, he was the son of the late Fred Robert Treadway and late Lola Treadway.
Survivors include three daughters-Betty (Anderson) Lowrey, of St. Charles, Joan (Larry) Wise, of Warrenton, Janet Swyers, of St. Charles; two sons-Fred (Donna)Treadway Jr., of Troy and Robert (Christine) Treadway, of St. Charles; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Treadway was a crane operator for ABEX. He was a member of the All Souls Catholic Church.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Mr. John B. Hawley, age 63, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at his residence.
He was born on July 11, 1944 in Wellston, a son of Richard Garland and Amelia H. (Lancaster) Hawley.
Following his schooling, he began working at Mogul/Federated Co. in Wellston. John had been a member of U.A.W. He completed 38 years of service before retirement.
On April 4, 1964, he married his childhood sweetheart, Shirley Blake, in St. Clair. To this union were born icon 2 children: John B. and Angela C. The Hawley family moved from St. Charles County to Troy about 11 years ago so they could enjoy country living. Surviving are his loving family: his wife, Shirley Hawley, of Troy; his son, John B. Hawley Jr., of Elsberry; his daughter, Angela C. Holden, of O'Fallon; his two brothers, Joe (Betty) Luyett of Mississippi, Ken (Judy) Besancenez, of Old Monroe; his three grandchildren, Gary (Carisha) Amelong III, Lindsey (Jonathon) Gascoin, Greg Meyers and three great-grandchildren: Erica Amelong, Erin Amelong, Kelton Gascoin, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at 10 a.m. from McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379. Officiating was Donnie Puckett. Interment was held in the Rock Hill Church Cemetery, Annaconda. Visitation was held Wednesday, May 21, from 3:30-9 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, Troy and Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Rock Hill Church.

Funeral services for Lucille Harris Marsden, 97, of Winfield, were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of the Winfield Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis.
Mrs. Marsden died Saturday, My 17, 2008, at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Born Jan. 3, 1911, in Ethlyn, she was the daughter of Henry Frank and Jamie Todd Martin. She was united in marriage on Dec. 18, 1928, in St. Louis, to Donald Bradford Harris. After 26 years of marriage, Mr. Harris passed away in 1954. She was later married again to Delmar Marsden.
Marsden was employed for several years as a seamstress for McDonnell Douglas, retiring in 1963.
Survivors include three sons, Donald Harris, of Foley, Charles Harris and his wife, Shirley, of Steele and Kenneth Harris and his wife, Jackie, of Elsberry; nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, five great, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at the Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice in care of: Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O. Box 253, Winfield, MO 63389.
