Walter Charles "Scotty" Scott, formerly of Lincoln County, was born to William and Norah (nee Morgan) on Oct. 24, 1923. They preceded him in death.
Also preceding him in death was only sister, Ida Mae Trammel; his brother, Command Master Chief Virgil R. Scott (U.S.N.); one granddaughter, Lisa Marie Sanders on Nov. 18, 2007; 3 great-granddaughters; sister-in-law, Joyce Scott; his first wife, Gloria Nadine Scott whom had seven children and second wife, Dorothy.
Survivors include wife, Ny Scott of Hawk Point and all seven children, two aunts, Ida Stulce, of St. Peters and Catherine McClanhan, of St. Charles; his children, Michael T. Scott (Karen), Gloria Ann Dodge (Dan), Gary Scott (Sharon), Susan Sanders (Roy), Janel Scott, Jean Thorsburg and Joan Staley (Norman), two sets of twins Gary and Gloria and Jean and Joan. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Scott served in the U.S Army and also the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He was a map maker for the Aeronautical Chart Plant for the Korean War. He worked as a carpenter for many years and as a millwright for General Motors where he retired from.
Visitation for Scott was held at the Kutis Funeral Home from 2-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2008. Interment with full military honors was held at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.

Timothy J. Hampton, 59, of Overland, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2008, at St. John's Mercy Health Care Center in Creve Coeur.
He was born on August 24, 1948, in St. Charles to Thomas Oscar and Lillian Mary (Luelf) Hampton.
The Hampton family lived in Troy and Timothy attended the Lincoln County R-III Schools. Following his schooling he began working at the Brown Stables in Black Jack and during this time, he met Kathy McCarthy, the love of his life. They were married on August 31, 1968, in Black Jack. They were blessed with a daughter, Tracey, who brought them much joy in giving them three wonderful grandchildren: Stephanie, Kyle and J.C.
Hampton had worked for General Tire for 21 years. Timothy later began working for Dobbs Tire and Auto Center in St. Ann for over 15 years. He enjoyed his work and the people he worked with. In September 2007, Tim made his peace with God. He attended the Gateway Central Nazarene Church in Bridgeton and also the Troy Bible Holiness Church in Troy. Golfing and watching the Cardinals were some of his special hobbies.
Surviving are his loving family: his beloved wife, Kathy Hampton, of Overland; his daughter, Tracey Smith and Jerry Branstetter of St. Charles; his 3 grandchildren, Stephanie, Kyle and J.C.; his three sisters, Oleen Muller, of Troy, Lucille and husband George Creech, of Indianapolis, IN, Susie Hampton, of Phoenix, AZ; his father-in-law, Orville McCarthy of Warrenton; his two brothers-in-law, Michael McCarthy and wife, Linda, of Warrenton and Kevin McCarthy and wife, Barbara, of Breckenridge Hills; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 19, 2008, at 10 a.m. from the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, Troy. Officiating were Rev. Ray Thompson and Rev. Carrell Day. Interment followed in Troy City Cemetery, Troy. Visitation was held Sunday, May 18, 2008, from 2-7 p.m. and also Monday, May 19, 2008 from 8-10 a.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home in Troy. Memorials to Relay for Life, c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379.

Funeral services for Sonia Lea Lantrip, 50, of Moscow Mills, were held at noon on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at the Baue Funeral Home in O'Fallon. Interment followed in the Mr. Zion Cemetery in O'Fallon.
Mrs. Lantrip died Sunday, May 18, 2008, a the St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.
Born Sept. 22, 1957, in Carthage, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Bob and Jean Kelley.
She was married to Richard Lantrip on March 20, 2004, in Moscow Mills. He survives.
Survivors also include three daughters, Jennifer Lindsey, of Moscow Mills, Lagatha (BJ) Kelley, of Hawk Point and Niki (Rachelle) Huff, of Troy; one son, Ricky Lantrip, of Moscow Mills; 8 grandchildren; two sisters, Tammy (Bobby) Boone, of Moscow Mills and Kathy (Mike) Killian, of Wentzville; nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles.
Lantrip was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Moscow Mills.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.

Funeral Services for John Thomas Stewart, 28, of Annada, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, 2008, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Charles Moore, of Louisiana, and Rev. Bob Norvel, pastor of Annada Christian Church, officiated with burial in Dover Cemetery near Clarksville.
Mr. Stewart passed away Thursday morning, May 15, 2008, at his home in Annada.
Born January 5, 1980, in Louisiana, Stewart was the son of Bruce Ray and Brenda Jane Estes Stewart. He was a 1998 graduate of Clopton High School in southern Pike County. He graduated from the Universal Technical Institution in Chicago with a degree in diesel mechanics. He was united in marriage on May 12, 2001, in Troy to Alexandra Elizabeth Whitford. He was a Sergeant supervising correctional officers at Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green, MO. Mr. Stewart was a volunteer firefighter in Clarksville.
Stewart was a member of the Phoenix Masonic Lodge #136, AF&AM in Bowling Green. Survivors include his beloved wife of 7 years, Alexandra Stewart, of Annada; three sons, John Stewart II, Carter Stewart and Levi Stewart; his parents, Bruce and Brenda Stewart of Annada; three brothers, Bruce Stewart II and his special friend, Kay Patrick, of Annada, Adam Stewart and his wife, Nikki, of Elsberry and Jared Stewart, of Annada. He also leaves his paternal grandparents, Gene and Dottie Stewart, of Elsberry; his maternal grandmother, Lucille Estes of Elsberry; his father in-law, Charles Whitford and his wife, Teresa, of Briscoe; four uncles; eight aunts; two brothers-in-law, Brian Whitford and his wife, Jennifer, of Troy, and Charles Whitford and his wife, Amanda, of Whiteside; two sisters-in-law, Angela King and her husband, Travis, of Troy and Trisha Haffener of Troy; six nephews; four nieces; one special cousin, Trisha Jones and her husband, Jeremy, of Houston, TX; other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
Memorials may be made to the John Stewart Children's Trust Fund at any Peoples Bank and Trust location in Pike or Lincoln County or in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, MO 63343.

Funeral services for Johanna Street, 85, of O'Fallon, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Baue Funeral Home in O'Fallon. Interment followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Normandy.
Mrs. Street died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis.
Born May 25, 1922, in Livingston, Ill., she was the daughter of Stephen and Anna Colcun.
Street was a homemaker and family caretaker.
Survivors include two sons, James (Linda) Street, of Rock Spring, GA and William C. (Judy) Street, of Wentzville; daughter, Marilyn (Jim) Masterson, of Foley; two granddaughters, two grandsons.
Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 16, 2008, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in O'Fallon

Corine (Sue) A. Windmann, age 89, of Potosi, passed away Wednesday May 14, 2008, at the Potosi Manor.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 19, 2008, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex. John Veach officiated. Burial was in the Olney Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 18, 2008, at the funeral home.
She was born August 9, 1918, in St. Louis County, the daughter of Joseph and Virginia Shrimp. She was raised in Afton, later living in Warrenton, Jennings and then in 1988 moved to Potosi. She first married George Frederick Beck. Upon the death of Mr. Beck in the war, she married Wilbert Windmann on November 18, 1959 in Piedmont. He survives. Also surviving are one son Donald Beck and wife, Pam, of Silex; four grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Windmann attended the Methodist Church in Warrenton in her early years.
Memorials may be made to the donors choice.

Mrs. Connie J. Cox, 65, of Troy, MO, passed away May 11, 2008 at the Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy.
She was born on May 12, 1943, in Greencastle IN., to James and Betty (Breedlove) Jordan. She married Donald Cox on June 16, 1992. He passed away before their first anniversary.
For many years, Connie worked at Cliff & Ella's in Hawk Point, and at several other establishments in Warrenton. She loved having fun. She loved her friends and will be deeply missed by them.
Connie is survived by: her children: Gaylee Herman and spouse, of Suttons Bay, MI and John Ruttledge and spouse, of Winston Salem, N.C.; four grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.
A memorial service for Connie was held Friday, May 16, 2008, at 5 p.m. at the McCoy - Blossom Chapel in Hawk Point.

Funeral services for Daniel Thomas "Danny" Guiney, 12, of Troy, were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2008, at the Baue Funeral and Memorial Center, St. Charles. Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, May 16 2008. Interment was in the St. Charles Memorial Gardens in St. Charles.
Guiney died Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Guiney was born July 12, 1995, in Creve Coeur, the son of Tim and Jen Guiney.
Survivors are his parents; one brother, Brian A. (Caitlin) Kinnaman, of Troy; grandmother, Sally J. McDonald, of Hillsboro.
Memorials may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
