Walter Lee Weinand, Jr. of Troy, was born October 21, 1932, in Bowling Green to Walter and Gladys (Marlin) Weinand. He departed this life on May 26, 2008, at the age of 75 years, 7 months. He married Shirley Hutt on December 7, 1957. She survives at the home.
He is also survived by three daughters, Sandra and her husband Kerry Stanbery, of Granby, Amy Carpio of Ballwin, and Karla Fliger, of Kansas City; and one son, Kevin and his wife, Teresa Weinand of Kansas City, KS; six grandchildren, Andrea Carpio, Eric Stanbery, Justin Stanbery, Kayla Weinand. Lee Weinand, and Ashley Fliger. He is also survived by three brothers, Carl Weinand and wife, Barbara, of Troy, James Henry Weinand, of St. Charles, and Dr. Kenneth Weinand and wife, Alice, of Independence, MO; and one brother-in-law, Dick Wulfert of Troy; and two sisters-in-law, Jeanette Goodman and Jessie Hutt of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Walter attended Methodist College in Fayette and received a BS in Engineering from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He worked for McDonnell-Douglas as a design electrical engineer for 40 years. Walter was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1947. Walter served as an Army Communications Specialist Fourth Class in Fort Bliss, TX. where his first daughter was born. After serving in the Army he moved back to Troy where his three other children were born. He was a member of the Troy Holiness Church where he served on the board and church secretary off and on through the years. He served as a Gideon for the last several years. After retiring from McDonnell-Douglas, he helped in the Lincoln County Jail Ministry for a short time, and also delivered Meals on Wheels until shortly before his death. Walter was faithful in the Troy Holiness Church, Camp and School and ran the PA system and tape ministry for around 35 years. The funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the Bible Holiness Church, Troy. Officiating was Rev. Carrell Day.
Memorials may be made to the Troy Holiness School.
The visitation was held from 4 to 9 p.m Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy and from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, 2008, at the Bible Holiness Church, Troy.

Mrs. Ethyl Lee Hensen, 84, of Winfield, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Troy Manor, Troy.
She was born on September 9, 1923 in Mokane to Murkes and Vernie (Bradley) Martin. She had 6 siblings: Ed, Paul, Murkes Jr, Clifford, Ruby and Josie. On November 20, 1948 in Jennings, she married the love of her life, Donald L. Hensen. Ethyl Lee was very involved with her church, New Galilee Christian Church in Winfield and was a member of the Ladies Dorcas Circle also. She would help whenever possible. Surviving are her loving family: her sons, Floyd (Linda) Hensen, of Winfield and Samuel Hensen, of St. Peters; her brother, Clifford Martin, of Wright City and her grandchildren, Nathan (Karen) Hensen, Amy (Tim) Young; her step-grandchildren, Phillip (Tonya) Schmidt and Salina (Jason) Jones; her great-grandchildren, Christopher Hensen, Hannah Hensen, Hayden Hensen, Tyler Young, Caryle Young; step-great-grandchildren: Miranda Schmidt, Devan Schmidt, Alayna Schmidt and Cole Jones; sisters-in-law, Bertha Holland, of Troy, Donna Martin, of Winfield, Kathleen Diamong, of Edwardsville, Il, Mae Scudder, of Florissant, Frances Hensen, of Colorado Springs, Co; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at 1 p.m. from New Galilee Christian Church in Winfield. Rev. Steve Minkler officiated. Interment followed in the New Galilee Cemetery, Winfield.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 27, 2008, from 4-8 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy, and also visitation will be Wednesday from 12 noon -1 p.m. at the New Galilee Christian Church, Winfield.
Memorials to the New Galilee Christian Church or New Galilee Cemetery, c/o the funeral home.

Gary Allen Davidson, age 63, of Corso, passed on peacefully at his home on Thursday, May 22, 2008. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at the Silex Presbyterian Church. Rev. George Major officiated. Burial was in the New Liberty Cemetery. Visitation was held from 4 until 8 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2008, at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Silex with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.
He was born July 20, 1944, in St. Louis, the son of Harry Allen Davidson and Juanita Duvel Straub. He married Louise Thompson on December 18, 1964, at the Silex Presbyterian Church. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Christina Louise Nagl and husband, Thomas. of St. Louis, Jennifer Ann Capstick and husband, Steve, of New Hartford; one son, Matthew Walter Davidson and wife, Sara, of Olney; seven grandchildren, Rebecca, Bryan and Rachel Lipsey, Jakob and Abigail Nagl, Garrett and Hunter Capstick; one brother, Thomas Richard Davidson and wife, Lillian of Middletown; adopted brother David Davidson and wife, Sue, of San Clemente, CA; two sisters, Joy Frey and husband, Carl, of Chula Vista, CA, Elizabeth Murray and husband, Mike, of San Diego, CA; aunt Nancy Spyers of Olney; uncle Richard Duvel of Sun City, AZ; father and mother-in-law, David and Ina Jewell Thompson, of New Hartford.
He served in the United States Navy from 1962-1966 where he was an aviation electrician. After leaving the service he worked for TWA and Dundee Corp. as an electrician. He started Davidson Electric in 1972 and later added Davidson Distributing where he made and sold generators. He made his home in Corso where he raised his three children. He was involved with the local 4-H for over 20 years, where he spent 17 of those years teaching archery. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 473 in Olney.

Ronald A. Hausman, age 73, of O'Fallon, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2008, at Troy Manor, Troy.
He was born on Feb. 16, 1934, in St. Louis, a son of Vincent George and Grace Elizabeth (Williams) Hausman.
His early years were spent in St. Louis where he graduated from the public schools. He then served in the U.S. Army. In 1964, Ronald was united in marriage with Barbara Bray at the Florissant Assembly of God Church, Florissant. The family lived in the St. Louis area where he was employed by the Ford Motor Company for 37 years. He enjoyed working on cars, yard work, and restoring a Mustang and a 1949 Ford Convertible.
Surviving are his beloved wife Barbara Hausman, of O'Fallon; four sons, Ronnie Allen Hausman, of St. Louis, Wade Allen (Tina) Hausman, of O'Fallon, Vincent (Sherry) Hausman of Liberty, and Randy (Cara) Hausman, of Valpariso, IN; one daughter, Cheri (Rick) Butterfield, of Moscow Mills; one sister, Shirley Schulte, of Pacific; 7 grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will held at 4 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St, Troy. Interment followed in the Thornhill Cemetery, Troy.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church, Troy, Mo. or to the donor's choice. The visitation will be held Saturday, May 31, 2008, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services for Jennie V. Masters, 79 of Winfield, were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of the Winfield Baptist Church officiated. Burial followed in the Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield.
Mrs. Masters passed away Friday, May 23, 2008, at her home in Winfield.
Born August 19, 1928, in Matthews, she was the daughter of Willis and Flora Striebe Lott. She was united in marriage on October 9, 1948, in Piggott, AR to Doyle Wayman Masters.
The Masters lived in Ferguson, for 25 years before moving to the Winfield area to be near their daughter. Mrs. Masters was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ferguson.
Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 60 years, Doyle Masters, of Winfield; their daughter, Jean Sue Masters and her fianc‚, Frank Finney, of Winfield; two grandchildren, Robert W. Dees and his wife, Tina, of O'Fallon and Michelle Prater and her husband, Drew, of St. Peters; and two great-grandchildren, Samuel Doyle Dees and Josephine Lucille Dees. She also leaves one sister, Grace Barham, of St. Charles; one sister-in-law, Anna Lott of Fair Dealing; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation was held from 4 - 8 p.m. Monday, May 26, 2008, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 3838 East Highway 47, P.O. Box 253, Winfield, MO 63389.

David "Pete" Lee Ray, Sr., 59, of Troy, passed away in St. Louis on Thursday, May 22, 2008.
He was born January 3, 1949, in Troy, a son of Ryan Roland Sydnor, II and Constance Anita Ray. On June 20, 1970, in Troy, he was married to Sandra E. Green. David has three sons, Carl, Daryl and David, Jr. and two daughters, Lorrie Blanks and Tawyna Mathews.
David was educated in the Troy school system. In 1966 he enlisted in the United States Army and earned his GED while stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C. He also served one year, 7 months and 10 days in Viet Nam. While in the service of his country, he received the National Defense Service Medal, Viet Nam Service Medal, Viet Nam Campaign Medal, Meritorious Unit Citation and a Good Conduct Medal. After returning to the United States, he remained in the Active Reserve until 1972. Following his discharge from service, he was employed in several occupations including supervisor for JV Midwest, 1973-1976; supervisor for Monsanto, 1976-1985; supervisor Venture Warehoue 1985-1988; United States Corps of Engineers, maintaining Lock and Dam # 25 in Winfield, 1988 until his retirement. David also attended Sanford -Brown College and received a CPA certificate.
He is survived by five children: Carl and wife, Mickie, of Troy, Lorrie Blanks and husband, Corey Hill, of Wright City, Daryl Ray, Tawyna Matthews, and David Ray, Jr. and wife, Angela, and all of Troy; four sisters, Bernice Cockrell, Cassandra Hawkins, Carla Sydnor, all of Troy and Betty Cockrell and husband, Larry, of O'Fallon; five brothers, Mark Sydnor, of Washington State, William "Deke" Higgins, of Oklahoma State, Mike "Nip", Kevin, and Reggie Sydnor all of Denver CO; ten grandchildren, Shanikia, Annette, Christian, Emily, Devin, Dajah, Jaylah N. Ray all of Troy and Jodicee and Janee Hill, of Wright City, ; and his paternal grandmother, Anna Sydnor and his Aunt Jane Cockrell both of Troy and Uncle Fred Wray and wife, Edna. of O'Fallon; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. with Rev. Robert Moore officiating Interment will be in Troy City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in care of the Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home, P.O. box 222 Troy, Missouri, 63379.

Dorothy M. Richards, 90, of Troy, went to sleep peacefully on Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Lincoln County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 24, 1917 in Old Monroe, the only daughter born to Ace and Edna Woodson Britton. She was married to Marvin Richards.
Dorothy attended public school and graduated from beauty college. She was a homemaker and also was a cook for a local school. She was baptized on July 4, 1987, into the Jehovah's Witness faith at the St. Louis Arena.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Richards, of Troy; one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Richards, of Hawk Point and one grandson, Dennis Richards of Hawk Point.
Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home / Troy Chapel. Funeral services followed at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. with Elder Ken Nelson officiating. Interment was held in the Troy City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall of Troy in care of Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, PO Box 222, Troy, MO 63379.

Lloyd Donald Darnell, of Troy, passed away May 16, 2008, at the St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. His body was cremated. A memorial service was held May 24, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Moscow Mills.
He was born Nov. 29, 1941, in Pike County, Mo.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 31 years, Claudette, of Troy; one sister, Kathleen Caldwell, of Trenton, Mo.; two brothers, Paul Darnell, of Ashburn and Andy Darnell, of Wentzville; his children, Don Colonna, of Troy, Lorna Sutton, of Eolia and Lynn Bromfield, of Elizabethtown, Ill.; step-children, Michale Myles, of St. Louis, Patrick Myles, of St. Charles, Christi McPeak, St. Charles, and Jeanine Hancock, of Chesterfield; 14 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Darnell worked for 35 years at the Lincoln County R-III School District in maintenance and as a bus driver. He retired from maintenance on June 30, 2002.
