Mrs. Marjorie J. Hough, 85, of Troy, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007, at Troy Manor, Troy. She was born on April 12, 1922, in Deep Water, Mo. to Harvey and Eva Pritchard Hunt. She attended the local schools along with her brother, Travis, and sister, Grace. Marjorie married John O'Connell Hough. Surviving are her four children: John O'Connell Hough Jr. of Laughlin, NV., Patrick Hough of Manhattan Beach CA. Kathleen Meyer, of Troy and Mary Ellen Schaeffer, of St. Louis; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one on the way. A memorial service was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2007, at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, St. Louis. Officiating was Rev. Mr. Peter Gounis.Memorials may be made to the CLC Hospice or to the Leukemia Society, c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO. 63379

Mary Lou Kreuger, age 60, of Troy, died on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at her residence. She was born on May 8, 1947, in St. Louis, a daughter of Robert and Velma Collins Anderson. Kreuger graduated from the public schools. On Oct. 5, 1966, she was united in marriage with Dick Kreuger in Moscow Mills, Mo. She was involved in many activities through the years including being a lifelong Democrat and election official, working with the Lincoln County Extension Council, bowling, playing softball on the Senior Women in the Khoury League, sewing, fishing, gardening, and doing crafts. Surviving are her beloved husband of 41 years, Dick Kreuger of Troy; her sons, Richard (Tammy) Kreuger of Troy and Tommy (Tracey) Kreuger, of Olney; six grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy (John) Davies of Chesterfield; two brothers, Robert Anderson Jr. of Lincoln County and Mike (Karen) Anderson of the state of Washington; one sister-in-law, Ann (Bill) Klatt of West Plains; one brother-in-law, Gary (Cheryl) Kreuger of Troy; many other relatives and friends. The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at the Moscow Mills United Methodist Church, Moscow Mills, Mo. Officiating were Rev. Ed Powlishta and Rev. Choong-Ho Kwon. Services concluded at the church. Private interment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to the CLC Hospice c/o the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2007 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at the Moscow Mills United Methodist Church, Moscow Mills, Mo.

Mrs. Dorothy M. 'Dot' Minkemann, age 90, of Troy, formerly of St. Louis, Mo., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at the Lincoln Co. Nursing & Rehab. Center, Troy. She was born on Aug. 13, 1917, in St. Louis, a daughter of Rudolph and Dora (Figge) Achter. She attended regular school and beauty school. On Jan. 27, 1940, she was united in marriage with Clarence Minkemann in St. Louis. The Minkemann family lived in St. Louis for many years and Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper for a bank. Dorothy will be remembered as always being impeccably dressed. She had a good sense of humor and enjoyed playing cards. Surviving are her beloved daughter, Sharon Creech and her husband, Kenny, of Wright City ; two grandchildren, Julie Frias, of Troy, and Randy Siebert and wife, Dena, of Troy; three great grandchildren, Gregory Frias, and Riley & Delaney Siebert, all of Troy. The funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Home, 1304 Boone St., Troy, Mo. Officiating was Rev. Steve Brown. Interment followed at 1 p.m. at National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Mo. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o the funeral home. The visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, at the funeral home.

Marian R. Williams, 82, of Elsberry, formerly of Troy, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Lincoln County Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1925 in St. James, Missouri; a daughter of the late Charles B. and Ruth Harrison Rudolph. Williams attended Missouri University and was a bookkeeper for various businesses including Lincoln County Medical Center and Charlotte's Flowers.was a member of the Troy Presbyterian Church and the Troy Garden Club. Marian loved gardening and landscaping and received many awards from the Troy Garden Club. She is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Williams and husband Dan Horgan of Elsberry; one son, Steven Williams and wife, Trish, of Granite City, Ill.; two sisters, Vera Shafer and husband Kenneth of Troy and Anna Nienhueser and husband George of Bowling Green; two grandchildren, Seth Williams and wife Gretchen and Charles Joseph Williams, one great-grandchild, Ailey and six nieces and nephews. Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to noon on Monday, December 3, 2007 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Funeral Home / Troy Chapel. Funeral services followed at noon at the funeral home. Interment was in the Troy City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to the charity of you choice in care of Kemper-Marsh Family Funeral Chapels, P. O. Box 222, Troy, Missouri 63379.

Mrs. Marie M. McNealy, 93, of Moscow Mills, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy.
Marie was born on June 29, 1918, a child of Joseph and Louise "Lizzie" (Meyer) Genzling in Moscow Mills. After attending the local schools, Marie worked for the Co-op, Schaper's Store the garment factory in Troy and also for a garment factory in St. Louis. At the age of 26, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roy F. McNealy, on May 5, 1945, in Moscow Mills. Soon after the couple relocated to Omaha, Neb. and they lived there until Roy was discharged from the Army in February of 1946. It was at this time the couple made their home in Moscow Mills. Marie and Roy were blessed with two children: Diane and Larry.
She was a stay-at-home mother who lovingly cared for her children and husband. Friedens United Church of Christ was an important part of her life. She would pitch in and help at church whenever needed. In her later years, she served as a contact person for the OATS Bus Group. Marie is survived by her beloved children: Diane Suchland of Troy, and Larry McNealy of Moscow Mills; her four grandchildren: Jim, Dawn, Josh, and Sarah. Also surviving are her eight great-grandchildren: Ashley, Kayla, Anthony, Katarina, Samantha, Vincent, Adam, Alexis, nieces, nephews many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 at Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills. Officiating: Pastor Eugene Rahmier. Interment will follow in Friedens Cemetery, Moscow Mills.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 4 until 8 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379. Memorials may be made to the Friedens United Church of Christ Cemetery General Fund c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center.

Funeral services for JoAnn Tourville, 78, of Winfield, willo be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield. Rev. John Ryan of Summitt Community Church in O'Fallon, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield.
Mrs. Tourville passed away Tuesday evening, Oct. 11, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Peters.
Born Sept. 17, 1933 in Lavinia, Tenn., she was the daughter of Earon and Lucille Kirk Barnes Sr. She was a 1950 graduate of Spring Creek High School in Spring Creek, Tenn. She was united in marriage in 1960 in St. Louis to Floyd Tourville. JoAnn was blessed with six children: Ronnie, Cindy, Cathy, Johnie, Michael and Dennis. She was a housewife and known as "Granny" to many in the community.
Survivors include two daughters: Cindy Moore, of Belleville, Ill. and Cathy Beckemeyer and her husband, Ken, of Houston, Texas; four sons: Ronnie Tourville and his wife, Pat, of Winfield, Johnie Rollins and his wife, Dee, of Pevely, Michael Tourville and his wife, Paige, of Wentzville and Dennis Tourville of Winfield; 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by one sister, Martha Hewell and her husband, Bill, of Jackson, Tenn.; three brothers: Earon Barnes, Jr. of St. Louis, Robbie Barnes and his wife, Patrice, of Pensacola, Fla. and Larry Barnes and his wife, Janice, of Jackson, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or American Heart Association in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Homes, 3838 East Highway 47; P.O. Box 253; Winfield, MO 63389.

Funeral services for Rosemary Ruth Bruner, age 82, of Elsberry, were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011, at the New Hope Baptist Church near Elsberry. Rev. John Zellmer, church pastor, officiated with burial in the New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Bruner passed away on Oct. 6, 2011, at her home near Elsberry surrounded by her friends and neighbors.
Born July 9, 1929, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Herman and Minnie (Richardson) Schaefer. She attended Normandy High School. She was united in marriage on Sept. 24, 1964, in Lincoln County to Herschel Elmer Bruner.
She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone, retiring after 25 years of service. Mrs. Bruner attended New Hope Baptist Church.
Having no children of their own, Rosemary and Herschel provided homes for many unwanted and mistreated animals and will be greatly missed by her four loving companions: PeeWee, Arnold, Sandy and Peanuts.
Mrs. Bruner is also survived by one brother, George Schaefer; two nephews, Thomas Schaefer and Gary Schaefer; one niece, Kim Schaefer; and four great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
Memorials may be made to the New Hope Baptist Church Building Fund in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South Fifth Street, Elsberry, Missouri 63343.

Mrs. Mary Marcia Crowell, 69, of Eolia, passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at Progress West Hospital in O'Fallon.
She was born on March 5, 1942, in St. Charles to Joseph A. and Marcella R. (Heller) Potter. Mary was the oldest of five children. Growing up in a large family meant caring and sharing with her siblings: Thomas, Timothy, Joanie and Susanne. She met her future husband, Larry Crowell, while working together at the Harris Mfg. plant in Brentwood. They were united in holy matrimony on Sept. 20, 1965 in Murphy, N.C. The couple was blessed with a son, Anthony. The Crowell's moved to Eolia in 1994. She became a member of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Mexico, MO.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Larry D. Crowell of the home; her son, Anthony and wife Barbara Crowell of Affton and a granddaughter: Moira. Mary is further survived by her brothers: Thomas and wife Jane Potter, Timothy and wife Rosa Potter; and her sisters: Joanie Mueller and Susanne and husband Neil Saettele. Also surviving are her sister-in-law: Vonda Bingham and her brother-in-laws: Melvin Crowell, Lonnie Crowell, Ronald Crowell, Keith Crowell; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011 at the St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Mexico. Fr. Jordan Fahnestock to officiate. Interment to follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Bowling Green.
Visitation to be held on Friday, Oct. 14, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Center, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379. Memorials may be made to Colon Cancer Alliance - Gateway CCA Chapter, c/o the funeral home. F
