COCHRAN
Allen "Pokey" Cochran, 46, Brumley, died April 29, 2002, near Bentown, from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He was born Jan. 24, 1956, in Iberia, a son of Billy J. and Marie E. Hedrick Cochran. His father survives in Brumley.
He worked for Duncan Construction in Lake Ozark.
Other survivors include three brothers, Steve Cochran and Rick Cochran, both of Brumley, and Dallas Cochran, Oak Grove.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Mark Kessler will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Union Cemetery, near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
ELDRINGHOFF
Nadine Emma Eldringhoff, 80, Rhineland, died April 30, 2002, at Frene Valley Health Center, Hermann.
She was born May 6, 1921, in Pershing, a daughter of Arthur and Pauline Hilgenstoehler Ocheskey. She was married Feb. 3, 1945, in Hermann, to Sidney H. Eldringhoff, who survives.
She was a homemaker. She worked at Hermann Lumber Co., Weldon Springs Government Defense plant, for the rationing board in World War II, and Hermann Bank. She served as an alternate election judge for Montgomery County. She was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland, and the Eagle Auxiliary.
Survivors include: one son, Robert Eldringhoff, Hermann; three daughters, Phyllis Stock, Ashland, Patricia Heidt, Hermann, and Linda Glascock, Jefferson City; one brother, Harold Ocheskey, Gerald; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
One infant son preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Church of the Risen Savior, Rhineland. The Rev. Joseph Hoi will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Rhineland.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, Hermann. There will be an Eagles Auxiliary service at 6:45 p.m. followed by a wake service.
Memorials are suggested to the Cemetery, Masses, or the American Cancer Society.
ONGER
Carol J. Onger, 79, Holts Summit, died April 29, 2002, at her home.
She was born Jan. 1, 1923, in Kamara, Iowa, a daughter of Ralph and Margaret Ruth Neely Segar. She was married in September 1953, in Jefferson City, to William J. Onger, who survives at the home.
A homemakers, she was a resident of the Central Missouri area for most of her life.
Survivors include: one son, James R. Onger, O'Fallon; two daughters, Judy A. Burns, Platte City, and Barbara S. Mueller, Lohman; two brothers, Neil Segar, Polo, and Estil Segar, Hamilton; one sister, Iris Burnett, Hamilton; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Freeman Mortuary. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. today.

TALKEN
Louise M. Talken, 83, Jefferson City, died May 1, 2002, at Capital Region Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 16, 1919, in St. Thomas, a daughter of Henry and Atoinette "Nettie" Matheisen Saneke. She was married May 30, 1939, in St. Thomas, to Albert Talken, who preceded her in death.
She attended St. Thomas Catholic School.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include: one sister, Rose Jansen, Jefferson City.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Timothy Tatro will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Houser-Millard Funeral Home, Jefferson City.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
TWITCHELL
Jessie Mae Rose Twitchell, 83, Fulton, died April 29, 2002, at Callaway Community Hospital, Fulton.
She was born Aug. 7, 1918, in Steedman, a daughter of A.A. and Ida Ladman Rose. She was married Nov. 28, 1933, in Fulton, to Lloyd Chester Twitchell, who died Sept. 1, 1995.
She worked at Fulton State Hospital in the nursing service until her retirement. She was a member of Reform Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one sister, Sarah Jane Twitchell, Fulton.
Two foster sons, Darrell Williams and Roger Williams, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Debo Funeral Home, Fulton. The Rev. Weldon Forman will officiate. Burial will be in Callaway Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today.
THOMAS
Erma Marie Thomas, 90, Russellville, died April 30, 2002, at Jefferson City Manor Care Center.
She was born Sept. 18, 1911, in Centertown, a daughter of Ernest and Louise Rohrbach Lehman. She was married to Fritz Hager, who died June 9, 1955. She was married Dec. 13, 1966, in Russellville, to Kenneth Thomas, who survives in Indianola, Iowa.
She was a baby-sitter for local families for many years.
Other survivors include: one son, Ernie Hager, Russellville; one stepson, Richard Thomas, Indianola; two daughters, Matilda L. Blank, St. Joseph, and Marie Meisel, Jefferson City; two stepdaughters, Ardyce Newell, Indianola, and Delma Hendrickson, state of California; two brothers, Fred Lehman, Mexico, and Richard Lehman, Russellville; one sister, Alma Theroff, Russellville; two grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and three step great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one stepson, Phillip Thomas, one granddaughter and one step grandchild.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Home, Russellville. The Rev. John Kerr will officiate. Burial will be in Enloe Cemetery, Russellville.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today.

NICHOLS
Mary Ann Nichols, 53, Linn, died April 30, 2002, in Osage County, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born Sept. 14, 1948, in Cole County, a daughter of Lawrence and Mildred Stegeman Hoffman.
She was a waitress and a member of St. George Church, Linn.
Survivors include: three sons, Clint Weed and Clifford Weed, both of Chamois, and Kurt G. Nichols, Linn; one daughter, Lisa Christensen, Kearney, Neb.; two brothers, Larry Hoffman, Taos, and Leon Hoffman, Springfield; two sisters, Carol Thiemann, Russellville, and Sharon Brandt, Frankenstein; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. George Church, Linn. The Rev. Daniel I.J. Lueckenotte will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Taos.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at Morton Funeral Home, Linn, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

STATON
Eulema Staton, 77, Gravois Mills, died May 1, 2002, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics.
She was born July 3, 1924, in Paris, Ark., a daughter of Roger and Mary Hunter Mills. She was married July 4, 1942, in Branch, Ark., to Doyle F. Staton.
She attended schools in Paris, Ark. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Laurie.
Survivors include: one son, James Edward Staton, Brentwood, Tenn.; one daughter, Brenda Joyce Hughes, Laurie; one sister, Opal Lowrey, Paris, Ark.; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Laurie. The Rev. Mike Hawkins will officiate. Burial will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery, Laurie.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.
HOLLINGSWORTH
Betty Sue Hollingsworth, 75, Camdenton, died April 30, 2002, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia.
She was born July 10, 1926, in Chicago, a daughter of R.J. and Sylvia Dowty Little. She was married in 1946 to Edward Lee Hollingsworth, who died May 24, 1983.
Survivors include: two sons, Rick Hollingsworth, Camdenton, and Eddie Hollingsworth, Carnegie, Okla.; one daughter, Debra Adams, Newark, Ill.; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Chillicothe Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ill.
