BARNHART

Wilburn Rainey Barnhart, 88, Versailles, died April 13, 2003, near Versailles.

He was born Dec. 18, 1914, in the state of  Oklahoma, a son of Loman R. and Nellie Jane Lee Barnhart. He was married Feb. 15, 1941, in Van Cleve, to Olive Elwanda Helton, who died Aug. 8, 1997.

He was a farmer and lived in the Iberia community until 1995 when he moved to Versailles.

He attended Calvary Baptist Church in Versailles.

Survivors include: one son, Don Barnhart, Versailles; four brothers, Willard Barnhart, state of Florida, Lewis Barnhart and Wade Barnhart, both of Meta, and Roscoe Barnhart, St. Charles; one sister, Ceola Bock, Fenton; and one granddaughter.

One son, David Dowe Barnhart, died in 1961.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Rekus Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Robert Hamm and the Rev. Bill Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, near Iberia.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to Union Cemetery.

GONDER

Charles Averill "Pop" Gonder, 83, Hemphill, Texas , died April 11, 2003.

He was born May 31, 1919, in Carroll County, a son of George R. and Elizabeth Bell Gonder. He was married in 1937, to Eleanor Nadine Musick Gonder, who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Carrollton High School and attended the University of Missouri.

He was a supervisor with Coop Oil Refinery in Phillipsburg, Kan., for many years. He later worked in Coffeyville, Kan.

He was a Navy veteran.

Survivors include: three daughters, Patricia Cleveland, Webber, Kan., Barbara Tweedy, Republic City, Neb., and Kathryn Gonder, Mankato, Kan.; one brother, "Doc" Bill Glen Gonder,  Jefferson City; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

One son, Charles Averill Gonder Jr., preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill, Texas . The Rev. Fred Raney will officiate. Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m.

Services also will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ford, Wulf, Bruns Funeral Home, Coffeyville, Kan. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Central, Coffeyville.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m.

Memorials are suggested to Youth Camp Program of the First Baptist Church, Hemphill, Texas 75948.

Arrangements are under the direction of Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill, Texas .

LEACH

Alta Marie Leach, 67, Gravois Mills, died April 11, 2003, at St. Marys Health Center.

She was born May 12, 1935, in Las Animas, Colo., a daughter of Timothy and Zella Hedges. She was married May 28, 1951, to William R. Leach, who survives.

She was a homemaker and worked for American Lot Factory in Illinois for almost 14 years. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Other survivors include: one son, Bill Leach, Gravois Mills; two daughters, Gay Rosetti, Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Margie Richey, Gravois Mills; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

One son, Thomas Leach, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home, Laurie.

McGHEE

Marguerite V. Logan Kralina McGhee, 82, Sunrise Beach, died April 12, 2003, at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach.

She was born April 14, 1920, a daughter of Oscar and Margaret Sharpe Logan. She was married to William McGhee, who survives.

Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Kralina, Chesterfield, and Stephen Kralina, Sunrise Beach; two daughters, Loretta Jones, Sunrise Beach, and Joyce Wersching, Feasterville, Pa.; one sister, Genevieve Pietrac, McMinnville, Ore.; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Sunrise Beach. The Rev. Mearl Laswell will officiate. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery, near Camdenton.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home.

WATSON

Rebecca Michelle Watson, 20  Jefferson City, died April 13, 2003, at University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born Feb. 24, 1983, in  Jefferson City, a daughter of David F. and Vicki L. Gilpin Watson. Her father survives in Bolivar. Her mother and stepfather, Vicki and Danny Landers survive in Holts Summit.

She was a 2001 graduate of  Jefferson City High School and worked for Factual Data Missouri in office administration.

Other survivors include: one daughter, Katlyn Paige Staehle, of the home; paternal grandmother, Louise S. Watson, Bolivar; step grandparents, Art and Clara Mae Landers,  Jefferson City; and her fiancé, Rodney Staehle, of the home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors,  Jefferson City. The Rev. Joseph Skiles will officiate. Burial will be in Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials are suggested to the Katlyn Staehle Educational Fund, in care of Central Bank, Holts Summit.

BEAVER

Elizabeth Eunice Beaver, 97, Camdenton, died Sunday evening, April 13, 2003 at Laurie Care Center in Laurie.

She was born August 5, 1905, in Pittsville, Missouri, a daughter of Arthur LeRoy and Mida Blanche McNeel Cobb. On October 6, 1928, she married Victor Shaw who preceded her in death in 1962. In 1963, she married John Beaver who preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Beaver was retired from the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, was a member of the Methodist Church, the Gravois Mills Business & Professional Women's Club and the Garden Club.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Cobb and Morton Cobb, and one sister Ruby Blanche Bridges.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 17, at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie. Interment will be in Garber Memorial Estates Cemetery in Laurie.

Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Kidwell-Garber Laurie-Sunrise Beach Chapel in Laurie. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home of Laurie.

LOEHNER

David James Loehner, 63, of Koeltztown, died Friday, April 11, 2003, in Porterville, California.

He was born December 6, 1939, in  Jefferson City, a son of Cornelius P. and Mary Louise Plassmeyer Loehner. He was a 1958 graduate of Helias High School and attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Missouri. He was a Sheetmetal Worker for more than thirty years and was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown, Missouri and the Sheetmetal Workers Local 36 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was a lifetime member of the American Angus Association and a past member of the Knights of Columbus in  Jefferson City. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming and his grandchildren.

He is survived by three sons: Kenneth Charles "K.C." Loehner of  Jefferson City; Kurt Alan Loehner of Andover, Kansas and Kameron Patrick Loehner of Fort Bragg, North Carolina; one brother: Maurice Loehner of Woodland Park, Colorado; two sisters: Joyce Adriance of Napa, California; Kathy Klopstein of Defiance, Missouri and five grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 4:00 8:00 p.m. Friday, at the Hilke Millard Funeral Home in Westphalia, Missouri. Funeral Liturgy Outside the Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 19, 2003, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, Missouri. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Westphalia, Missouri. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Hilke-Millard Funeral Home, 101 Linn Street; Westphalia, Missouri, 65085. (573)455-2424

MALONE

Irmgard Hannah Malone, 68, of Dixon, died at 1:05 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2003, at her residence near Dixon.

She was born July 19, 1934, in Germany. She was married to Harold Nathaniel Malone, who preceded her in death on October 18, 1995.

Graveside funeral services will be held at at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at the Fox Crossing Cemetery near Dixon.

Visitation is from 9 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2003, Fox Crossing Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.

NULL

Charles E. "Gene" Null, 77, of Dixon, died at 8:10 p.m., Sunday evening, April 13, 2003, at his residence near Dixon.

He was born June 29, 1925, in St. Louis, a son of Claud W. and Lesta Newberry Null. He was married to Nora F. Null, who preceded him in death on June 9, 1998. Later married to Helen Boulware, who survives at the home near Dixon. Mr. Null worked as a warehouseman in St. Louis for McGrawhill Book Publishing, retiring in 1978.

Other survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Robbin and Bruce Oehler, St. Louis. One brother, Willard "Mike" Null, Dixon. Deceased family members: Parents and first wife, Nora Null.

Funeral services are at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, 2003, at the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon. Interment is in the Seaton Cemetery, Dixon.

Visitation is from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 15 and 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, in the Long-Gilbert Funeral Home, Dixon.
