Christine Vance Reagan
(January 19, 1924 - August 15, 2011)
Christine Vance Reagan, 87, passed away August 15, 2011, at University Medical Center in Jackson due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Mrs. Reagan was a resident of North Carrollton, where she was very active in her church, garden club, and with craft groups. She was a retired employee of Baldwin Piano Company and a member of North Carrollton United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Reagan was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reagan, Jr.
Survivors include three children, Bobby Reagan of North Carrollton, Danny Reagan of West Chester, Ohio, and Christy Reagan Hogue of Carrollton; ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Lee Funeral Home in Winona from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18; and graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Evergreen cemetery in North Carrollton.
Pallbearers will be Bruce Beckwith, Mitchell Costilow, Terry Herbert, Clint Littleton, Earnest Sanders, and George Shackelford.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Carrollton United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 21, North Carrollton, MS 38947.

James Truman Wills
(December 17, 1928 - November 2, 2014)
Funeral services for James Truman Wills of Stewart will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 5, at Crape Creek Baptist Church near Stewart, with burial following in the church cemetery. Rev. Danny Irvin will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the church.
Mr. Wills, 85, died at Choctaw Regional Medical Center in Ackerman on Sunday, November 2. He was born icon in Stewart on December 17, 1928, to the late Jim Hillard and Ruby Peacock Wills. He was a retired firefighter and a U. S. Army veteran. He was a member of Crape Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Johnny Junkin; and two brothers, Leon Wills and Audie Wills.
Mr. Wills is survived by his wife, Ruby Maurice Wills of Stewart; daughters, Anita Davis (Bobby) of Ackerman and Lisa Horton (Bill) of Youngsville, LA; son, James Wills Jr. (Melody) of Stewart; sisters, Jo Robertson of Clarksdale, Dora McCalpin of Mathiston, Polly Gilbert (John) of Tupelo; brothers, Burt Wills (Rivers) of Shannon, Robert Wills of Tupelo; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John Crowley, Jason Junkin, Michael Wills, Brian Wills, Chris DePew, and Benjamin Horton. Honorary pallbearers will be James Baker and Chris Cooksey.

Charles Dan Bell
(August 2, 1957 - May 16, 2015)
Funeral services for Charles Dan Bell of Duck Hill will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, in the Lee Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Eskridge cemetery at Eskridge. Rev. Rev. Terry Corley will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 12:00 noon until service time, at Lee Funeral Home.
Mr. Bell died from complications of a stroke at University Medical Center in Jackson on Saturday, May 16. He was 57 years old. He was born icon in Kosciusko on August 2, 1957. Mr. Bell was a disabled carpenter, an avid hunter, and loved horseback riding.
He was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Winona. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Haire.
Mr. Bell is survived by his wife of ten years, Dianne Bell of Duck Hill; his mother, Bernice Haire of Winona; two stepsons, Brian Harrison (Monica) of Atoka, TN, and Michael Harrison of Lakeland, TN; sisters, Sarah Posada (Herman) of Baton Rouge, LA, Linda Blakely (Gene) of Winona, Helen Haire of Cedar Falls, IA; brothers, David Bell (Lynnette) of Baton Rouge, LA, Tim Haire of Winona; one step-granchild; a special nephew, James Robert Alldread of Winona; and a host of others nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Michael Harrison, Brian Harrison, Earl Dismuke, Bud Bowey, Stanley Brisendine, and Jeff King. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Posada and Gene Blakely.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Eskridge cemetery Fund.

Joe E. Morgan, Sr.
(February 24, 1931 - April 29, 2016)
Funeral services for Joe E. Morgan of Madison, formerly of Carrollton, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 4, at Carrollton United Methodist Church in Carrollton, with burial following in Evergreen cemetery in North Carrollton. Rev. Scott Carter and Rev. Ed Saunders will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, from 9:00 a.m. until service time, at the church.
Mr. Morgan, 85, died at his home on Friday, April 29. He was born icon in Greenwood on February 24, 1931, to Shelton and Blanche Turner Morgan. He was a retired supervisor with South Central Bell and a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, attaining the rank of staff sergeant. He was a member of Flora United Methodist Church in Flora and a former longtime member of Carrollton United Methodist Church. Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Bankston Morgan; and two brothers, Jack T. Morgan and Shelton H. Morgan.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his sons, Jodie Morgan and wife, DeDee, and David B. Morgan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
Pallbearers will be Ross Bankston, Gary Bankston, Matt Morgan, Ryan Bardwell, Allen Morgan, and Sterling Jones. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Morgan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Third Arrow MSSDAR, c/o Nancy Alderman, 693 CR 347, Carrollton, MS 38917, with Mary Morgan Scholarship in the memo area.

Lila Mae Patridge
(March 26, 1921 - February 20, 2008)
Funeral services for Mrs. Lila Mae Patridge are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, at Lee Chapel in Winona, with burial following in Oakwood cemetery in Winona. Rev. T. R. Darsey will officiate the services.
Mrs. Patridge died of heart failure on Wednesday, February 20, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. She was 86.
Mrs. Patridge was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Julian Marter, and the widow of the late Earl Wayne Patridge. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Johnny Ray Fowler. Mrs. Patridge was a retired employee of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department, the Montgomery County Tax Collector, Winona Stockyard, and Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She attended First Baptist Church in Winona.
Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Patridge Fowler and husband Sam of Grenada, Peggy Patridge Chapman and husband Buddy of Terry; her son, Billy Wayne Patridge and wife Diane of Brandon; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are Todd Fowler, Eric Fowler, Johnny Ray Edwards, Brad Patridge, Craig Patridge, and Benjamin Bennett.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 21, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 318, Memphis, TN 38101.

Kenneth M. Dennis
(May 23, 1919 - March 21, 2008)
Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth M. Dennis of Winona will be at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, at Lee Chapel, with burial following in Winona Garden of Memory. Rev. Mark Dillman and Rev. Jim Scott will officiate the services. Visitation will be Monday, March 24, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Mr. Dennis died of heart failure on Friday, March 21, at Winona Manor in Winona. He was 88 years old.
Mr. Dennis was the son of the late Walter Marion Dennis and Tressie Edna Everett Dennis. He was a retired shop foreman for Kimco-IBP in Winona and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Dorothy B. Dennis and his daughter, Linda Gladys Dennis.
Survivors include his son, Rhea Dennis of Winona; sisters, Mary Ruth Joyner of Flowood and Betty Jean Reynolds of Philadelphia; brother, Lee Dennis of Mobile, Alabama; and two grandchildren.

Van Stuart Simpson
(September 6, 1948 - May 1, 2008)
Funeral services for Mr. Van Stuart Simpson of Vaiden will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel in Winona, with interment following in Vaiden cemetery in Vaiden. Rev. Billy Little will officiate the services. Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home.
Mr. Simpson died of cancer at his residence on Thursday, May 1. He was 59 years old.
Mr. Simpson was the son of the late Lorene Simpson and the late Allen Simpson. He was a loving father and grandfather and a talented musician, having played with his band, "Magnolia Blue, " for over twenty years. He will be greatly missed by a host of friends and family. The Lord has called him home to be reunited with the love of his life, Shirley O'Nita Donahoo Simpson, whom he married icon on April 20, 1973. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Claude Preston Simpson. He was a teacher at Vaiden High School for 30 years until his retirement, and he was a member of Vaiden Methodist Church in Vaiden.
Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa Alieen Simpson Lee and her husband, Jason; his son, Barry Lee Simpson and his wife Kimberly; brother, Horace Allen Simpson and his wife Theodora; six grandchildren, William Jason Lee, Jr., Stuart River Jordan Lee, Trinity Lewis Lee, Ashley Paige Simpson, Barry Lee Simpson, Jr., and Dakota James Simpson; and his wiener dog, Suki.
Pallbearers will be former teachers of Vaiden High School: Drew Lenard, Jerry O'Briant, Clint Tompkins, Billy Joe Ferguson, James Alford, James Allen Gant, and Albert Cuomo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hebron Baptist Church, Vaiden, MS 39176.

Hazel Ferrell Barry
(May 10, 1940 - June 16, 2008)
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Ferrell Barry of Greenville are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, at Lee Chapel in Winona, with burial following in the Chapel Hill cemetery at French Camp. Rev. Neal Cordell will officiate the services. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 18, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barry died of heart failure on Monday, June 16, at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was 68.
Mrs. Barry was the daughter of the late Harold and Jewell Thomas Ferrell, and the widow of the late Edward Barry. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church. She spent several years living abroad with her husband, who was in the U.S. Navy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, the late James Thomas Ferrell; and a nephew, the late Ray Ferrell.
Pallbearers are Christopher Pevey, Jimmy Floyd Thomas, Jimmy Dale Thomas, Tommy Thomas, Mike Thomas, and Frank Stewart.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Gary B. Grice
(July 13, 1953 - July 14, 2008)
Graveside funeral services for Gary Grice of Winona will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, at Winona Garden of Memory, with burial immediately following the service. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 15, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Mr. Grice died of cancer on Monday, July 14, at his residence. He was 55 years old.
Mr. Grice was a truck driver for Balkamp Company in Greenwood. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Herbert Hunt Grice.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Grice of Winona; mother, Ann Cross of Winona; stepdaughter, Janie Thompson of Winona; three stepsons, Willie Jennings of Winona, William Jennings of Pearl, and Wayne Whatley of Pearl; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a nephew, Brad Grice.

Mary Celeste Thornton
(September 21, 1926 - November 2, 2010)
Graveside funeral services for Mary Celeste Thornton of Vaiden, formerly of Tchula, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 4, at Central Baptist Church cemetery in Isola, with burial following. Rev. Richard Wiman will officiate the services. A visitation will be held at the cemetery on Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until service time.
Mrs. Thornton died of heart failure at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Thornton was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Nellie Springer Naron.
She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Isola. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three children, Milton Thornton Jr., Stan Thornton, and Johnny Thornton; six sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by four daughters, Linda Scarborough of Greenville, Marsha Burns of Kosciusko, Vicki Andrews of Tchula, Miriam Watkins of Pheba; two sons, Billy Thornton of Tchula, Steve Thornton of Bush, LA; fifteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to French Camp Academy, One Fine Place, French Camp, MS 39745.

Nannie Ruth Milner
(November 8, 1920 - March 30, 2011)
Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Ruth Milner of Vaiden will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in the Vaiden cemetery in Vaiden. Rev. Leon Holly will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Friday, April 1, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Mrs. Milner died on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. She was 90 years old.
Mrs. Milner was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Johnson Martin, and the widow of the late John William Milner. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Elmore.
Mrs. Milner was a homemaker and a former employee of J. A. Olson Company in Winona. She was a member of Vaiden Baptist Church in Vaiden. She loved gardening, growing flowers, quilting, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Faye Griffin of Florence; two sons, John Walter Milner of Vaiden and William "Jack" Milner of Grenada; five grandchildren, Phillip Ryan Griffin, John Adam Milner, Susan Marie Cotten, Lisa Ann Morales, and Amanda Rose Milner; six great-grandchildren, Juliana Morales, Kaylon Cotton, Colby Dayne Taylor, Ryan James Griffin, William Earl Vinson, and Christopher Ian Morales; and three great-great-grandchildren, Natalie Star, Lilli Kay, and Bryce.
Pallbearers will be Phillip Ryan Griffin, John Adam Milner, William Earl Vinson, Christopher Ian Morales, Colby Dayne Taylor, and Phillip Ryan Tate. Honorary pallbearer will be Edward Lee Briscoe.
