Survivors include her husband Michael Wayne Self of Tampa, Fla.; one son James Michael Self of Tampa, Fla.; her parents, Georgia Tutor Hollinger and Wayne W. Tutor, both of Batesville; one sister Debra Tutor Roberson of Batesville; one half-sister Brenda Moorehead of Water Valley; two half brothers, James D. Tutor of Water Valley and William Allen Tutor of Courtland and three brothers, Thomas W. Tutor Sr. of Batesville, Kenneth L. Tutor and Richard D. Tutor, both of Tampa, Fla.
Sellers, Bea Harlow
Bea Harlow Sellers, 61, died Sunday evening of heart failure.
Services were Thursday at First Baptist Church in Sardis with interment at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Rev. Ricky Haynes and Rev. Jerry Stafford officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Sellers was born
Dec. 12, 1942 in Pontotoc to A.B. and Ruby Walls Harlow. She was the widow of James H. Sellers and was a member of First Baptist Church in Sardis.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Washington Pilkinton and Belinda Washington Hobbs, both of Memphis; two stepsons, Ronnie Sellers of Senatobia and Todd Sellers of Sardis; three brothers, Rudolph Harlow of English Ind., Travis Harlow of Pontotoc, and Clifton Harlow of Pontotoc; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Sexton, Sarah Frankie
Sarah Frankie Sexton, 86, of Crenshaw, died Wednesday, July 23, 2003, at Baptist Desoto Hospital in Southaven.
Services were Friday at C.O. Pate Funeral Home is Senatobia. Burial was at Longtown cemetery. C.O. Pate Funeral Home had charge.
Sexton was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church and a housewife.
She is preceded in death by her husband Austin Walker Sexton.
Survivors include three daughters, Frankie Purdy of Courtland, Margie Luther of Sardis and Dorothy Harper of Shelby, N.C.; six sons, Raymond Sexton of Strayhorn, Herbert Sexton of Crenshaw, Billy Sexton of Strayhorn, Jimmy Sexton of Pontotoc, Bobby Sexton of Bruce and Hubert Sexton of Enid; three sisters, Mattie Lee Parson of Southaven, Nora Montgomery of Allen, Texas and Beth McQueen of Jasper, Ga.; 39 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great-grandchildren.

Mae Etta Fowler Brewer Shear, 76, of Batesville, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, at Grenada Lake Medical Center of heart failure.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m. at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Clay Baker and Rev. William Johnson will officiate the services. Interment will follow at Eureka Private cemetery in Courtland. Wells Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

June 22, 1926, in Panola County to the late Angelo and Nettie Hyland Fowler, was a homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, Pat Brewer Briggs of Marshall, Texas, Ruby Brewer Lucket, of Memphis, Tenn., and Sherry Brewer Wieronski of Frisco, Col.; one son James Bryan Brewer of Marshall; three sisters, Osie Fay Fowler White of Nacogdoches, Texas, Irene Fowler Porter and Margaret Fowler Burns, both of Courtland; five brothers, Rupert M. Fowler, Douglas Fowler and Coleman Fowler, all of Courtland, Harry Fowler of Walnut, and Billy Ray Fowler of Conroe, Texas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Ruth Scott Shelton, 89, of Vicksburg, formerly of Marks and Indianola, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at Tracehaven Nursing Home in Vicksburg, Miss.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 2:00 p.m. at Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks. Interment will be at Lambert cemetery in Lambert, Miss. Rev. Laurie Jones officiated services. Kimbro Funeral Home in Marks had charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Shelton Windham of Vicksburg; two sons, Thomas E. Shelton of Jackson and Vernon Shelton of Oxford; two sisters, Rebecca Shuttleworth of Bethesda, MD, and Mary Frances Sledge of Palm Desert, CA; and one brother, Vernon Scott of San Antonio, TX; 6 grandchildren.

Mary Alice Sherman, 77, of Charleston, died Thursday, June 19, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.

Nov. 2, 1925, was a retired church secretary for First Presbyterian Church in Charleston where she was a member for 50 plus years, she was a member of United Voices of Praise and a member of the Mississippi Poetry Society.
She is preceded in death by her husband John West Sherman.
Survivors include her two daughters, Kitty Sherman Newsom and Jeanie Sherman Hobson, both of Charleston; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Doyle M. Sibley, 72, of Batesville, died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, of heart failure.
Services were Sunday at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Bentonia. Burial was at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Bentonia. Wells Funeral Home of Batesville had charge.

Aug. 31, 1931 in Belzoni to the late Chester Calvin and the late Mary Daisy Matthews Sibley, graduated from Satartia High School, Holmes Jr. College and Miss State University where he received a master degree in agricultural education in 1963. He was the vocational ag teacher for five years at Holly Bluff High School in Yazoo County and Western Line High School in Washington County. Sibley served three years in U.S. Army with 16 months in Korea during the Korean War and nine months in Arlington Hall, Va. Sibley served five years as district field director and commodity director with Mississippi Farm Bureau. He retired after 30 years in 1996 as Farm Bureau Insurance Agency Manager of Panola County. His other affiliations include Batesville Exchange Club, V.F.W., F.F.A. Alumni, M.S.U. Alumni, M.S.U. Bulldog Club, Director of Exchange Club Center for prevention of Child Abuse, National Rifle Association, The Sons of Confederate Veterans and Tri-lakes Life Underwriters Association. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Batesville.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Sibley, Mark Sibley and Michael Sibley, all of Batesville; two brothers, James Sibley of Denver, Colo., and Lamar Sibley of Bentonia; and five grandchildren.

Smet, Harry F. Jr.
Harry F. Smet Jr., 57, of Olive Branch, died Thursday, September 11, 2003, at his residence.
Services were Saturday, Sept. 20, at the Chapel of the Risen Christ in Fon Du Lac, Wis. Burial was at Calvary cemetery in Fun Du Lac, Wis. Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiated. A memorial service will take place in Olive Branch at a later date. Zacherl Funeral Home had charge.
Smet, born
March 25, 1946, to Harry Smet Sr. and the late Bernice Bernhardt Smet, served for 16 years in the U.S. Navy and was deployed during the Vietnam Conflict, was an active member of American Legion Post 1990 and the VFW Post in Olive Branch.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bernice; his brother Michael and his sister Sheryl.
Survivors include his father Harry Smet Sr.; three daughters, Cynthia Valin of Alameda, Calif., Roxana Melaas of Clinton, Wis. and Stacey Smet of Batesville; one son Douglas Smet of Batesville; two sisters, Beverly Duelge of Muskego, Wis. and Carol Mack of Mukwonago, Wis.; two brothers, Roland Smet of Milwaukee, Wis. and Lester Smet of Wautoma, Wis. and four grandchildren.

Dorris Alice Draper Smith, 76, of Enid, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at Baptist East in Memphis.
