Larry Gene Rhear, 58, of Coffeeville, died Thursday, June 12, 2003, at his residence of heart failure.
Services were Sunday at Wells Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Forrest Memorial Park. Rev. Kenneth Corley officiated. Wells Funeral Home has charge.

Feb. 9, 1945, to Walter Rhear and the late Mary Goodwin Rhear, was a barge foreman.
Survivors include his fiancee Betty Walters of Coffeeville; three daughters, Stephanie Anthony of Houston, Texas, Vanessa Perkins of Leland and Melissa Rhear of Houma, La.; his father Walter Rhear of Calhoun, Ga.; one sister Pam Baker of Alpharetta, Ga. and one grandson Maxwell Perkins.
Richardson, Ola Mae
Ola Mae Richardson, 85, of Oakland, died Friday, August 29, 2003, at Tri-Lakes Medical Center.
Graveside services were Saturday at Springhill ASA Church cemetery. Rev. Lewis Wilson officiated. Cooley's Mortuary had charge.

Jan. 29, 1918, to the late Jim Moore and the late Julia Carpenter, was a housewife and a member of Springhill ASA M.B. Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary D. Luster and Johnnie Mae House, both of Oakland and Betty Jean Hester of Chicago, Ill.; four sons, L.P. Richardson, John Richardson, Willie G. Richardson, all of Jackson and Carl B. Richardson of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, George Moore of Los Angeles, Calif. and James Moore of Memphis; two sisters, Rita Smith of Buffalo, N.Y. and Minnie Ballard of Los Angeles, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Richmond, Vashti
Vashti Richmond, 84, of Batesville died Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford.
Funeral services are today at 11 a.m. at New Hope M.B. Church. Burial is at New Hope cemetery. Hodges Funeral Home has charge.
Richmond was a retired school teacher.
She is preceded in death by her husband Aubrey Richmond.
Survivors include one daughter Eleanor Tinnor of Memphis; one son Cleo Timmon Jr. of Detroit, Mich.; two caregivers, Terry Towns and Jacqueline Towns, both of Batesville and one grandchild.
Riggle, Lynn Keith
Lynn Keith Riggle, 75, of Sardis, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at his residence.
Services were Monday at First Baptist Church. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery. Rev. Jerry Sanford officiated. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Riggle, born
May 18, 1928, to the late William J. and the late Glean Clymer Riggle, was a volunteer firefighter with the Sardis Fire Department for 27 years, holding every position on the department which included being fire chief for 12 years and serving in the army.
Survivors include his wife Joyce Barmer Riggle of Sardis; one daughter Wanda Harris Ward of Senatobia; two sons, Ronnie Harris of Horn Lake and Robert Harris of Louisville, Ky.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rikard, Willie Juanita
Willie Juanita Rikard, 74, of Pope, died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003, at her residence in Bartlett, Tenn. of cancer.
Services were Friday at Pope Baptist Church with interment at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Oxford. Rev. Jimmy Bryant and Rev. Lawrence Williamson, Jr. officiated services. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
Rikard, born
Aug. 1, 1928, to the late Elcho McLarty and the late Beula Stevens McLarty, was a homemaker and a member of the Pope Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ray Rikard of Pope and Jerry Lee Rikard of Grenada; five daughters, Willia R. Williamson of Red Boiling, Tenn., Pat Herron of Batesville, Edna McDonald of Bartlett, Tenn., Nita Kemker of Jackson, Miss., and Lisa Roach of Pope; one brother, Jim McLarty of Arkansas; two sisters, Kate Rogers of Oxford and Carlene Langston of Harmontown; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Inez Gray Robinson, 80, of Oxford, died Thursday, May 1, 2003, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford.
Services were Wednesday at Bluff Springs M.B. Church in Batesville. Burial was at Bluff Springs cemetery. Rev. L.C. Smith officiated. Cooley's Mortuary had charge.

Nov. 4, 1922, to the late Jim Gray and the late Rema Leonard was a housewife and a member of Bluff Springs M.B. Church in Batesville.
Survivors include her husband Burl Robinson of Oxford; four sons, Leon Thompson of Oxford, Henry Thompson of Batesville, Bobby Dickens of Kansas City, Mo. and Willie Earl Dickens of Jackson; five daughters, Cornell Jones, Margie Faye Dickens, Mary Ann Dickens, Linda Robinson, all of St. Louis, Mo. and Beatrice Farr of Memphis; three sisters, Sophia Ocelia Winston of Batesville, Minnie Myrtle Woodson and Velma Wallace, both of St. Louis, Mo.; 28 grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.

Mary Syble Morrow Roebuck, 65, of Pope, died Thursday, Dec.18, 2003, at Baptist-East Memorial Hospital in Southaven.
Services were Sunday at Wray's Chapel Church in Pope. Burial was at Chapel Hill cemetery in Pope. Rev. Bobby White officiated. Dickins Funeral Home had charge.
Roebuck, born
on July 29, 1938, in Vardaman, to the late Robert Earl Morrow and the late Ida Adel Griffin Morrow, was a member of Wray's Chapel Church of God and a store manager.
Survivors include her husband Lamar Roebuck of Pope; two sons, Rickey Lamar Roebuck and Robert Lee Roebuck, both of Pope; one daughter Victoria Lynn Edison of Pope; four brothers, Charles Raymond Morrow of Oxford, Billy Louis Morrow of Tennessee, Jimmy Darrell Morrow of Atlanta, Ga. and Roger Lee Morrow of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Laverne French and Judy Moore, both of Batesville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Sunday at First United Methodist Church in Batesville with interment at Forrest Memorial Park cemetery. Rev. Alan Kilgore, Rev. Don Bishop, and Dr. David Ball officiated services. Wells Funeral Home had charge.
Survivors include her husband, Harold L. "Bud" Rogers of Batesville; one daughter, Paula Stewart of Batesville; one brother, Kenneth A. Shelton of Littleton, Colo.; one sister, Betty E. Mark of Memphis; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Roper, Lowell
Lowell Roper, 68, of Drew died Tuesday, April 22, 2003, at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland.
Funeral services were Thursday at Drew Baptist Church. Burial was at Drew cemetery. Rev. Alan House officiated. Williams and Lord Funeral Home had charge.
Roper was a retired corrections officer with the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
Survivors include his wife Estelle Roper of Drew; four sons, Jimmy Roper of Fulton, Dennis Roper of Blue Mountain, Johnny Roper of Batesville and Lowell "Buddy" Roper, Jr., of Batesville; one daughter Brenda Roper of Dorsey; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Ruby, Bobby John
Bobby John Ruby, 51, of Waterford, died Sunday, May 11, 2003, from complications in an automobile accident.
Services were Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at New Hope cemetery near Como. Rev. Robert Smith officiated. Moore Funeral Home had charge.

Survivors include his parents Boots Ruby and Ruby Lee Goodwin Ruby, both of Como; two sons, Robert C. "Little Bobby" Ruby of Senatobia and John Allen Ruby of Senatobia and three brothers, James B. Ruby, Paul W. Ruby, both of Como and Don Ruby of Senatobia.

Mary Lou Ruby, 88, of Como, died Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Moore Funeral Home had charge. No services were held. Her body was creamated.

May 11, 1940, in Panola County, to the late Foster Rudd Sr. and Ethel Lee Jones Rudd, was a retired truck driver for Bobby Hudson Trucking Company, a member of St. Peter M.B. Church, Usher, Youth Choir President- Deacon and Yard Marshal on the Usher Board.
Survivors include his wife Mattie L. Rudd of Batesville; four sons, Earnest L. Rudd, Tony L. Rudd, Anthony Rudd and Bennie Earl Rudd, all of Batesville; three daughters, Shari Hamilton, Tavara Rudd, both of Batesville, and Wanda Rudd Tweedy of Ft. Louis, Wash.; eight brothers, James Rudd, Clarence Rudd, M.C. Rudd, all of Batesville, Sammie Rudd, Arthur Rudd, Charles Rudd, all of Memphis, Glenn Rudd of Aberdeen and Clarence Eddie Brown of Batesville; four sisters, Mary Hines, Dorothy Hamilton, both of Batesville, Laura Hamilton and Frances Richardson both of Sardis; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
