Services were Monday, April 25, at 2 p.m. at Holy Rosary Church with Father Dave Hamm officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Stevie Chickaway, Philadelphia; one daughter, Annie Sue Chickaway, Philadelphia; one son, Deihmiah Chickaway, Philadelphia; three grandchildren; five sisters, Gladys Frazier and Bessie Willis, both of Halls, TN, Geraldine Isaac, Pearl River, Tammy Mingo, Carthage, and Dora Steve, Philadelphia; two brothers, Wayne Mingo and C.J. Mingo, both of Philadelphia.

Sammy Bell, Sr.
Sammy Bell, Sr., 50, of Philadelphia, died April 24, 2005 at his residence.
Services are today, April 28, at Bogue Chitto Gym with Rev. Robert Paul Tubby officiating.
Burial will be in the Bogue Chitto Community cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include one daughter, Hillary Mingo, Philadelphia; one son, Sammy Bell, Jr., Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; six sisters, Willie Dean Cotton, Sharon Gibson, Shirley Lewis, Synthia Willis and Etta Johnson, all of Philadelphia, and Roxanne Joe, Tennessee; one brother, Beasley Willis, Sr. of Philadelphia; and step-mother, Joyce Ann Bell.
Pallbearers are Norman Wayne Gibson, Allen Meely, Eric Morris, Deric Morris, Thaddeus Hickman, Robbie Farmer and Nehemiah Shaun Lewis.

Colon McBeth
Colon McBeth, 90, a retired farmer, died April 25, 2005 at Leake Memorial Hospital.
Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Randolph Scott officiating.
Burial was in the church cemetery with Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A native of Leake County, he was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Jean McBeth, Carthage; three sons, Johnny McBeth, Aberdeen, Tommy McBeth, Carthage, and David McBeth, Brandon; three daughters, Alice Mills, Dora Mills and Renate McBeth, all of Carthage; one sister, Verla Callahan, Carthage, 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Elizabeth May Fulton
Funeral services for Elizabeth May Fulton, 78, of Philadelphia, were held Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Beam officiating.
Burial was in the Coy Methodist cemetery in Preston under the direction of McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mrs. Fulton died Sunday, April 24, 2005, at her home.
A life-long Methodist, she was a member of First United Methodist Church of Philadelphia since 1961.
Survivors include one son, Thomas H. Fulton, Kentucky; four grandchildren; two sisters, Arline May Wolverton, Philadelphia, and Bobbye May Henderson, Carthage.
Pallbearers were Jamie May, Duane Stokes, David Henderson, Jerome Copeland, Robert Partin, Justin Partin, B.J. Drager and Tim Cannon.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Philadelphia or any charity of choice.

Ramona Willis Moore
Ramona Willis Moore, 54, died Sunday, April 24, 2005.
Services will be held Friday, April 29, at 10 a.m. at Redwater Facility Building with Rev. Travis Willis officiating.
Burial will be in the Mt. Zion cemetery with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Marshall Moore, Philadelphia; four daughters, Kristalene Trejo, Vancouver, Wa., Valarie D. Moore, Valline R. Moore and Lea Hope R. Solomon, all of Philadelphia; one son, Sidney Moore, Philadelphia; seven grandchildren; one sister, Queenie Nickey, Walnut Grove; one brother, Rosco Willis, Carthage.
Pallbearers will be the Golden Moon Security greeters.

Ima Smith Peoples
Ima Smith Peoples, 84, died April 14, 2005 at University Medical Center in Jackson after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 16, at First Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in Harris cemetery with Wilcox Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A native of Roseland, LA, she was a member of Carthage First Baptist Church, Carthage Culture Club and a charter member of the Thursday Club.
She attended Carthage High School, Blue Mountain College and Mississippi Teachers College.
For many years she was proprietress of Carthage Market and Grocery, “Smith’s Market.”
Survivors include two sons, Dick Peoples, Dallas, TX, and Carl Peoples, Carthage; two daughters, Kay Peoples Freeny, Carthage, and Amy Peoples Wood, Pass Christian; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Waggoner, Flowood, Dot Holaday, Brandon, and Emily Moore, Kosciusko; and four grandsons.
Pallbearers were Dr. Howard Holaday, Anthony Freeny, Dr. Charles Wood, Dick Peoples, David Peoples, Keith Peoples, Jackie Mann, Bob Thorton, Wayne Moore, Joe Waggoner and Zeb Henson.
Honorary pallbearers were Jared Peoples, Joshua Peoples, Guy Wood and Morey Wood.

Jack K. Wolverton
Jack K. Wolverton, 77, a pharmacist, died Monday, April 11, 2005 at his family residence.
Services were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carthage First Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in Carthage Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wilcox Funeral Home.
A native of Leake County, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a member of Carthage First Baptist Church, a graduate of the University of Mississippi, owner of Leake Drug Company and practiced pharmacy for almost 50 years.
Survivors include one son, Kim Wolverton, Carthage; one daughter, Karen Tutor, Madison; and four grandchildren.
Memorial gifts may be made to Carthage First Baptist
Church, 402 North Van Buren St., Carthage, MS 39051.

Malcolm M. Townsend
Malcolm M. Townsend, 65, died Sunday, April 10, 2005, at his residence.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. April 12 at Lakewood Memorial Park.
born in 1939 in Lumberton, he served in the United States Army National Guard and was a Jackson policeman, retiring after 20 years.
A longtime member of Highland Baptist Church, he was a talented stained glass artist.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Boyette, Jackson; five daughters, Teresa Dale Snider, Ridgeland, Sarah Evans, Eufaula, Ala., Marie Sawyer, Brandon, Ellen Herbey, Jacksonville, Fl., and Rebecca Berry, Raymond; and 10 grandchildren.
Donations may be made to Hospice Ministries Home Health, 450 Towncenter Blvd., Ridgeland, Ms. 39157.

Gordon Levene Moore
Gordon Levene Moore, 95, died Tuesday, April 12, 2005, at Rankin Medical Center in Brandon.
Services were held at 10 a.m. April 14 from the chapel of McClain-Hays Funeral Home with Rev. Dee Hughes and Rev. Dudley Winstead officiating.
Burial was in Cherry Chapel- Moore cemetery in Carthage.
A native of the Laurel Hill Community, he was a retired farmer and a Baptist by faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Iva Rhinewalt, Florence, and Carrol Harvey, Brandon; one son, Charlie L. Moore, Florence; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Annie Dean Wilcher, Edinburg; one brother, Roscoe Moore, Sebastopol.
Pallbearers were Alan Gunn, Jimmy Harvey, Tony Mitchell, Charles Moore, Danny Moore and Mike Wilcher.

Coleman Roy Lee Lewis
Coleman Roy Lee Lewis, 51, died April 11, 2005 at Regency Hospital in Meridian.
Services were held April 16, at 10 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church in the Standing Pine Community, with burial in the church cemetery.
Rev. Arthur Ben officiated, with Milling Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Dallis Lewis, Walnut Grove; two sons, Marshall Lewis, Choctaw, Benjamin Lewis, Philadelphia; five daughters, Lynette Willis, Trudy Lewis and Dalilette Thomas, all of Walnut Grove, Dianne Lewis, Carthage, and Martisha Tubby, Choctaw; and 29 grandchildren.

Roscoe Moore
Roscoe Moore, 82, of Walnut Grove, died April 15, 2005 at his residence.
Services were held Monday, April 18, at High Hill Baptist Church, with Jerry Moore, Rev. Ray Files and Rev. Mark Gill officiating.
Burial was in High Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol in charge of arrangements.
A member of High Hill Baptist Church, he was a WWII veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Roylene Moore, Walnut Grove; one son, Jerry Moore, Walnut Grove; three grandchildren; and one sister, Annie Dean Wilcher, Carthage. Pallbearers were Randy Boatner, Buzz Mowdy, Danny Thrash, Cecil Fairchild, Billy Paul Davidson and Steven
Anderson.
