We have come together today at the call of death, an event that is constantly occurring around us. Death stares us in the face on all sides. The fields that were green a few days ago are now brown. God teaches in His word, “All flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof fadeth away.”

Death is moving out of the cold, friendless, dark world into eternal daylight; that is what Lee G. Brown, Jr., has done. He was born icon September 9, 1952 in Vicksburg, Mississippi to the late Mrs. Clara Washington and the late Lee G. Brown, Sr. He was reared by a loving stepfather, Mr. Percy Washington.

Brown; two loving daughters, Tara Brown and Tiffany Brown of Vicksburg, Mississippi; one sister, Crystal Washington of Vicksburg, Mississippi; stepfather, Mr. Percy Washington of Vicksburg, Mississippi; three grandsons, Willie Monyea Spratley, Taylen Chartell Smith, and Kameryn Jamarion Claiborne all of Vicksburg, Mississippi, and a host of relatives and friends including special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Walker.
