Mrs. Marcella Parker Williams, age 76, passed away at the Portsbridge Hospice in Atlanta, Ga., on October 3, 2003. A native of Ocean Springs, Miss., Mrs. Williams, married
47 years to the late Jacob Joseph Williams, Jr., is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Glenda and Dr. John Byrne of Larchmont, N.Y., Betty and Larry Scott of Atlanta, Ga., her son, Joey Williams of Ocean Springs, granddaughters, Shanna and Deanna Byrne of Larchmont, N.Y., grandsons, Chase Williams of Ft. Worth, Texas, Christopher Scott and his wife, Brittany, of Charlotte, N.C., and Jason Scott and wife, Susan, of Inman, S.C., her sister, Susie Yarbrough of Atlanta, Ga., formerly of Vancleave, Miss., brother, Malcomb Parker and his family of Pensacola, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews, including the children of her sister, Lois Rogers and brother, Wallace Parker, who preceded her in death.

Sept. 17, 1923. He departed this life Monday, Oct. 6, 2003 in Forest Park, Ill.
COUCH
Joe Couch, 80, of Moss Point, Miss., died Oct. 6, 2003, in Jasper County, Miss. Mr. Couch was born
Aug. 2, 1923 in Moss Point. He was a member of Safe Harbor United Methodist Church, retired from International Paper Company and a lifelong resident of Jackson County.
PITTMAN
Mr. Allen Pittman, 67 of Three Rivers, Miss., departed this life Oct. 2, 2003 at his home in Three Rivers, Miss. He was born
Aug. 15, 1936 in Sturgis, Miss. He had been a resident of Three Rivers for the past 29 years.
RYAN
Retired Colonel Paul Mark Ryan, 73, of Alturas, Fla., died Sept. 25, 2003, at his residence in Alturas, Fla. A native of Pascagoula, Mr. Ryan was a Retired Colonel, U.S. Marine Corps with thirty years service. He was a Protestant. Colonel Ryan served two tours in Vietnam, and was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star with Combat "V" for his actions. He was serving at the Pentagon in Washington, DC at his retirement.

Pearl Brumfield Stout, 95 of Pascagoula, Miss., died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born
Aug. 27, 1908 in Pike County, Miss., and was one of 12 children of Frank R. and Julia G. Brumfield.

Mrs. Esther Ann Rebecca Pettis Dethloff, age 82, beloved wife and mother, was surrounded by family and friends as she went peacefully to her heavenly home on Monday, October 6, 2003, in Escatawpa, Miss. She was born
January 17, 1921, in Lucedale, Miss., to John Levander and Mabel Ellen Blackwell Pettis. Miss. Esther, a long time resident of Orange Grove, Miss., was a retired Cafeteria Manager with the Moss Point School District and an active member of First Baptist Church of Orange Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; two sisters, Nellie Lee Barrow and Viola White; and three brothers, John Reuben, Woodrow, and James (Bud) Pettis.

Edwin "Eddie Money" Oswalt, 78, of Moss Point, Miss., died October 4, 2003, at George County Hospital. He was born
July 31, 1925, in Choctaw County, Miss. Mr. Oswalt was a retired self employed heavy equipment operator and was of Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Tiny Oswalt and wife, Lillie M. Oswalt.

Judy Gayle (Valentine) Chesney, 52, of Vancleave, Miss., died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, in Ocean Springs, Miss. She was born
May 27, 1951, in Laurel, Miss. Mrs. Chesney was a LPN and a member of Magnolia Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Berlin Valentine.

Raymond Irving King, 81, of Kreole, Miss., died Oct. 2, 2003, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. He was born
on July 7, 1922, to the late Raymond Nathaniel and Annie Lezette King.

Mr. James Wilson Jr., 68 of Picayune, Miss., died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2003 in Pi-cayune, Miss.
CROWLEY
Mrs. Margaret B. Crowley, age 76, of Vancleave, Miss., died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003, in Biloxi. Mrs. Crowley was a resident of the coast for 12 years and was a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Crowley and her parents, Joseph and Margaret MacIssac.
KELLEY
Edward F. Kelley, 79, passed away at Singing River Hospital on Sunday morning, Dec. 1, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sylvia; his brother, Pat Kelley of Florida; his sister, Mildred Bass of Virginia; two sons, Michael Kelley of Pascagoula, and Patrick Kelley of Virginia; six grandchildren, (Brann, Rory, Patrick, Eileen, Brian, and Teresa); and one great-grandson.
PARKER
Mr. Christopher Parker, 34, of Wade, Miss., died Dec. 4, 2003, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born
on July 5, 1969, in Pascagoula. Mr. Parker was a member of Wade Baptist Church, a lifelong resident of Jackson County, and a 1987 graduate of East Central High School. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Toby (Blanche) Parker.

Mary Jane Smith, 73, of Pascagoula, Miss., born
May 27, 1930, in Meridian, Miss., died Nov. 30, 2003, in Pascagoula. She retired from the Finance Department at Ingalls Shipbuilding, and was of the Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bryan and Beatrice Leibel; and her husband, Joseph Burner Smith.

Arthur Norris Jr. died on Friday, Nov. 28, 2003, in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Norris was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Norris Sr. and Mildred Norris, both of Forest, Miss.; and his oldest sister, Emma Elizabeth Rankin of Moss Point.
