James E. Wilson, 49, of Biloxi, Miss., died Monday, December 9, 2002, in Biloxi. Mr. Wilson was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a graduate of Biloxi High School.
He was an electrician specialist at Ingalls, a member of Ocean Springs BassMasters Club, and was Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sarah E. Wilson; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A Wilson, Mr. James H. English, and Mrs. Ila Mae Crutchfield; and two uncles, Mr. Joseph O. English, Mrs. Curtis Eugene English and his wife, Rosemary.
James is survived by his wife of 26 years, Kristi Wilson of Biloxi; two daughters, Jennifer Cross and husband, Michael of Crestview, Fla., and Diana Wilson of Gulfport; a sister, Ila Ann Higginbotham and husband, Gene of Saucier; two brothers, R. Alan Wilson and wife, Deborah of D'Iberville and Edward O. Wilson and wife, Deborah of Ocean Springs; his father, Ralph L. Wilson of Biloxi; one grandson, Tyler Logan Cross of Crestview, Fla.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Pete Eaglin and Bertha Simmons of Biloxi, Sue and Rick Roth of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; father-in-law, C. Lee Eaglin, Jr. of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; many aunts and uncles, James H. English and Georgia English of Range, Ala., E. Ezell English and Minnie Lee Dwyer of Port Arthur, Texas, Ovid Wilson, J. W. Childers and Rozene Copas of Woodville, Ala., Mr. And Mrs. Kenneth Wilson of Newton, Ala., Mr. And Mrs. Coleman Wilson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two nieces and one nephew, Ila Marie Higginbotham of Saucier, Amanda and Keith Wilson of Ocean Springs.
There will be a graveside service Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Range cemetery in Range, Ala.
The Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.

WILSON
Ronnie L. Wilson Sr., 49, died Dec. 6, 2002, in Gautier, Miss. Mr. Wilson was a native of Gautier, and a former employee of Northrop Grumman Shipbuilders. He was a member of Gethsemane Institutional Church of God In Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Linda Wilson of Gautier; two sons, Ronnie Wilson, Jr., and Tony (Sheila) Wilson; one godson, Robert Bright of Fairbanks, Alaska; three grandchildren, Tajhi, Tony, and TyShawn Wilson; his mother, Leeida Henard of Gautier; four brothers, Nathan Henard of Memphis, Tenn., Richard (Mary) Adams, Paul Wiley and Anthony Henard, all of Gautier; four sisters, Annie Parker of Moss Point, Renee Henard, Doris Brown, and Synthia Sellers, all of Gautier; two uncles, James (Patricia) Hawkins of Memphis, Tenn., LeRoy Hawkin of Memphis, Tenn.; one aunt, Claretha Russell of Chicago, Ill.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 12 noon - 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14, at Gethsemane Institutional Church of God In Christ, 1202 Tucker Avenue, Pascagoula, Miss. Funeral services will start promptly at 2 p.m. with Elder Kippy Paige Sr. officiating.
Interment will be at Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

ARNOLD
Carlos Anthony Arnold, Sr., 66, of Bay St. Louis, Miss., died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, in Bay St. Louis, Miss.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Bay St. Louis, Miss. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, Waveland, Miss.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served during the Korean War. He was a charter member of the Jaycees, American Legion Post #139, and 40&8 Voiture #432, 50 years of service with the Boy Scouts of America, Knights of Columbus Council #1522, all of Bay St. Louis, Miss.
He was past president of the Waveland Civic Association and charter member of the Bay-Waveland Elks, and the St. Vincent de Paul Society, of Waveland, Miss. He retired from Stennis Space Center after 20 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl A. and Viola M. Dubuisson Arnold; brother, Dennis J. Arnold; and grandson, Bobby L. Arnold.
Survivors include his wife, Gayle Drury Arnold of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; five sons, C. A. "Buddy" Arnold, Jr., of Pascagoula, Miss., Patrick J. Arnold of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Robert E. Arnold of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Nicholas E. Arnold of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Matthew R. Arnold of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; six daughters, Sharon A. Shelton of Moss Point, Miss., Mary Anne A. Grimme of Helena, Miss., Lisa A. Conn of Bay St. Louis, Miss., Kathleen A. Mitchell of Hurley, Miss., Barbara A. Froestad of Summerville, S.C., Donna A. Hess of Bay St. Louis, Miss.; two sisters, Phyllis M. Arnold of New Orleans, La., Shiela A. Rines of Indianapolis, Ind.; brother, Alfred L. Arnold of Waveland, Miss. Also Survived by 26 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 10 a.m. until noon at St. Clare Catholic Church, Waveland, Miss.
The Mass of Christian burial will be at noon Wednesday, Dec. 11, at St. Clare Catholic Church, Waveland, Miss. Interment will follow at St. Mary cemetery, Bay St. Louis, Miss.
The family prefers memorials be sent to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 307 Coleman Ave., Waveland, Miss. 39576.

TYRRELL
Annette R. Tyrrell, 97, died Dec. 6, 2002, in Grand Bay, Ala. Mrs. Tyrrell was a native of Citronelle, Ala., and resided in Birmingham for many years before moving to Grand Bay. She was a retired registrar with the Birmingham School System and attended the Methodist Church. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years, Rollin W. Tyrrell; her son, Rollin W. Tyrrell Jr.; her daughter, Dorothy Tyrrell Davis; two sisters, Mavis Hays and Helen Lloyd and a brother LeBaron Rogers.
Survivors include eleven granddaughters, Tracy (Mike) Foster of Gautier, Miss., Susan (Rusty) Jones of Pascagoula, Miss. Grey (David) Patrick, Caroline (Darrell) Stephens, Starr (Mike) Honea, Sherry (Mike) Dore of Baton Rouge, La., Cere (Victor) Burmania of Michigan, Karen (Charlie) Guidry of Lafayette, La., Sybil Gremmion of Leesville, La., Stephanie Tyrrell of St. Martinsville, La., and Lisa Tyrrell of Baton Rouge, La.; 20 great-great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Lita Tyrrell of Lafayette, La.
Visitation was 10-11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the funeral home.
Graveside services followed at 12:30 p.m. at Pine Crest cemetery, Citronelle, Ala.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial be made to First United Methodist Church of Grand Bay Youth Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 448, Grand Bay, Ala.

Bobbie Jean Riley
Mrs. Bobbie Jean Riley, 61 of Pascagoula was born icon November 10, 1948 in Mobile, AL and was called home March 1, 2010 in Pascagoula.
Bobbie Jean was proceeded in death by her mother, Dorothy Gatlin; father, Jessie Thompson; son Johnny Riley and two grandsons, Gary Riley and Jaylin Washington.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Willie Riley, Jr.; stepfather, Isaiah Gatlin; to brothers, Earl Thompson and Thomas (Bridget) Thompson; six children, Gwendolyn Lett, Donnie (Linda) Thompson, Shirley Riley, Willie C. Riley, Angelique (Sean) DuBose and Laterica (Michael) Washington, eighteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, a devoted cousin, Mary Patterson, a friend, Yosheka Butler, a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Riley will always be remembered as a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Bible Study Baptist Church, 5812 Grierson Street, Moss Point, MS with viewing one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in First Baptist cemetery, Escatawpa, MS

HOLMES
Zaniyah AAlysia Mona' Holmes, 7 months, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002 in Mobile, Ala. She was born icon April 17, 2002, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Velma Jones.
Survivors include her parents, James Miller Jr. and Wanda Holmes of Moss Point, Miss.; four brothers, Brandon Payne Jr. and Jamarius Butler, both of Moss Point, Miss., Keanu Thomas and Trevon Abston, both of Gautier; one sister, Zikeya Price, Moss Point, Miss.; grandparents, Viola (Curtis) Holmes, Moss Point, Miss., Mr. and Mrs. James (Gloria) Miller, Sr., Moss Point, Miss.; great-grandfather, Willie Washington, Moss Point, Miss.; great-grandfather, Willie Robert Jones Sr., Moss Point, Miss.; great-grandmother Dela Washington of Moss Point, Miss.; three aunts, Gwendolyn Holmes, Pascagoula, Miss., Tomeka Miller, Telayo Miller, both of Moss Point, Miss.; one uncle, Warrick Holmes, Moss Point, Miss.; and a host of other relatives.
Visitation and service will be Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a graveside service at 2 p.m. at Scranton cemetery in Moss Point with Rev. Joe Applewhite officiating. Burial will be in Scranton cemetery in Moss Point, Miss. Arrangements by Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, Miss.

STORY
Daniel Bobby Story, 67, of Gautier died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002 at his home. He was born icon January 28, 1935, in Opelika, Ala.
Mr. Story was a graduate of Auburn University and later served four years in the United States Navy. He recently retired after a 47-year career as an electronics technician.
Mr. Story had been a resident of Jackson County since 1970. He was of the Methodist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Geoffrey Lee and Mrs. Mary Virginia Story, and his uncle, Owen Story.
Mr. Story is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Mrs. Edna Story of Gautier, 11 children, Robert and Jan Blake of Gloucester, N.J., Jean and Jack Slater of Blackwood, N.J., Michael and Karen Blake, Trish and Dennis Schroder, and Larry Blake all of LaGuna Hills, Calif., Carol and Jim Mills of Ocean Springs, Danny Blake of Dallas, Texas, Stephanie and Matt Hults of Gautier, Dr. Daniel and Holly Story of Jackson, Sharon and Tim Gowan of Macon, and Sabrina and Jeff Thigpen of Senatobia; stepmother, Helen T. Story of Opelika, Ala., four brothers and sisters-in-law, Geoffrey, Jr. and Betty Story of Illinois, Larry and Sara Tom Story of Opelika, Ala., Ben and Linda Story of Mobile, Ala., and Kenneth and Carol Story of Salem, Ala.; one sister and brother in law, Marietta and Robin McIntyre of Auburn, Ala.; 17 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, December 9, 2002 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.
Funeral services are Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 2 pm from Hopewell United Methodist Church in Opelika, Ala., with Rev. Robbins Sims officiating. There will be a one hour visitation in the church prior to service time.
Interment will follow in Hopewell U.M.C. cemetery in Opelika. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

GREGORY
Maurice Gregory Sr., 65, of Gautier, Miss., died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, in Gautier. Maurice was born icon Feb. 21, 1937, in Ludlow, Miss., and lived most of his life in Jackson County.
He was a graduate of the University of South Alabama and an 11-year veteran of the United States Navy. He was the owner of Maurice Gregory Consultants and former owner of The Gator Diner, both of Gautier, and a member of the Gautier Kiwanis Club, and The American Legion Post #0160. Mr. Gregory was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Nadine Gregory; and infant sister, Gwendolyn Gregory.
Survivors include one son, Maurice Gregory Jr. (Angee) of Gautier; four daughters, Stephanie Gregory Bradley (Tim) of Columbia, S.C., Kerrie Crawford of England, Sabine Quell (Endy) of Germany, Sandra Struwe (Wolfgang) of Germany; three brothers, Ted Gregory (Evelyn) of New Orleans, La., Chuck Gregory (Lesa) of Pascagoula, Dodd Gregory of Pascagoula; one sister Barbara Jackson (Tommy) of Pascagoula; seven grandchildren, Tanner Bradley, Annabel and Katie Crawford, Maurice Quell (Nicole), Anissa and Dario Struwe, and Peyton Miller; one great-grandchild, Brian Anthony Quell; and numerous other special relatives and friends, including his former wife, Jane Gregory (Chuck Taylor), Pat Walley, Ann Waddell, and his buddies at "The Round Table".
Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 6, from 5-7 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Gautier.
Memorial service will follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Mike White and the Rev. Archie Holley officiating.
If preferred, memorials can be made to the National Cancer Society.

LOVELACE
Mattie Lee LoveLace, 64, of Moss Point, Miss., departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2002, at her residence. She was born icon in Monroeville, Ala., March 6, 1938. Mrs. LoveLace was a faithful member of Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Wilbert LoveLace of Moss Point; eight children; two devoted granddaughters; a host of other grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 9, 9-11 a.m., at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 4225 Martin Luther King Dr., Moss Point. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., also from the church, with the Rev. Robert E. Coker officiating. Interment will be in Good Hope cemetery, Moss Point. Arrangements by Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Inc., Moss Point, Miss.

MEREDITH
Mr. William (Bill) Meredith, 81, of Ocean Springs, Miss., was called home on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in Ocean Springs.
He was born icon in Marion, Ill., on July 21, 1921. He was a lifelong resident of Ocean Springs and an active member of Belle Fountain Baptist Church, where he served as usher, greeter for many years.
Mr. Meredith took an active part in the Home of Grace for Men in Vancleave, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Meredith; two sons, Paul Ray Meredith and Gregory Jarrell; and parents, Clyde and Vercile Meredith.
He will be sadly missed by two daughters, Jenifer Rasco and Cheryl Record, both of Ocean Springs; son and daughter-in-law, John and Arlene Meredith of Irvington, Ala.; brother, Donnie Meredith of Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, Dec. 6, 6-9 p.m., at Ocean Springs Chapel.
There will be a 10 a.m. chapel service on Saturday, Dec. 7, at Ocean Springs Chapel, followed by graveside services and interment at Serenity Memorial Gardens, on Old Pascagoula Road, in Theodore, Ala.
Pallbearers will be Cort Meredith, Billy Burrell, Jim Hayes, Jeff DeMond, Mike Fontenot, and Bill Record.
