VONCEIL SCOTT, 69, of Moss Point, Miss., died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004. Arrangements incomplete at Jackson County Funeral Services, Moss Point, Miss.

HARRIS
Mr. Thomas Harris, 93, of Moss Point, Miss., died Jan. 12, 2004, at his home. He was born icon Oct. 8, 1910, in Escatawpa, Miss., to the late Abram and Eliza Plainer Harris. He was a lifelong resident of the Jackson County area. He was a member of Summerville United Methodist Church in Escatawpa. He attended school in Escatawpa and united in holy matrimony with Miss. Sarah B. Lewis in 1934, and four children were born.

KIRKLAND
Ralph Odell Kirkland, 61, of Moss Point, Miss., died Jan. 15, 2004, at his residence. He was born icon Sept. 29, 1942, in Philadelphia, Miss. He owned and operated Kirkland Appliance for many years and had retired. Mr. Kirkland was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maggie Kirkland.

TREBOTICH
Mr. Louis J. "Ski" Trebotich, age 80, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, in Ocean Springs. He was born icon in Biloxi, Miss., and moved to Ocean Springs in 1962. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1962, during World War II and the Korean War. He was named Sailor of the Year in the Pacific Fleet during his time of service. After retiring from the Navy, he went to work at Litton Industries where he worked for 26 years. He was a member of the Slavonian Benevolent Association and St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Mr. Trebotich was preceded in death by his parents, George and Michelina, and four brothers, Paul, Joe, Johnny and Pete.

CHAISSON
Blanche T. Chaisson, 92, of Brownsville, Texas, formerly of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2003, at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She was a devout Catholic and member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Regina Tomplait; husband, Maurice Chaisson and a daughter, Gloria Cain.

MYERS
Mr. Charlie "Chocks" Bernard Myers, Jr., 48, died in his home in Moss Point, Miss. Mr. Myers was born icon July 30, 1955, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a retired Shipfitter, Dept. #7, from Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Charlie Bernard Myers Sr., and mother, Mrs. Jonnie Pearl Myers.

CUEVAS
Clarence L. Cuevas, age 82, and a resident of Kiln, Miss., died Friday, Dec. 26, 2003, in Kiln. Mr. Cuevas was a native of Standard community in Hancock County and was a lifelong resident of the Standard-Dedeaux community.

BAXTER
Harvey W. Baxter, a native of Tibbie, Ala., and resident of Bayou La Batre, Ala., died Monday, Dec. 22, 2003. Mr. Baxter was a graduate of Washington Co. High School and owner of Baxter's Grocery in Bayou La Batre for many years. Mr. Baxter was also a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II with 630th Tank Destroyer Battalion in Germany, France, Belgium, and Luxemburg, where he received the Purple Heart for injuries he received in the Battle of the Bulge. He also received five Battle Stars and a Presidential Citation for his outstanding courage. Mr. Baxter was a Place 4 city councilman serving the city of Bayou La Batre for eight years. He never met a stranger and truly loved Auburn Tigers Football and Basketball. He retired from International Paper Company after many years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Leota Baxter and his mother, Buna Baxter.

HUTCHINS
Alvin Hutchins, 42, of Moss Point, Miss., died Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Hutchins was born icon Dec. 21, 1960, in Pascagoula. He was a graduate of the Class of 1977 and a former member of Bible Center Church of God in Christ, in Pittsburgh, Pa. He is preceded in death by his father, James Hutchins; two brothers, Raymond and George Hutchins; and one sister, Debra Ann Hutchins.

CLARK
Joan Jackie' Jacqueline Terrebonne Green Clark, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend, was peacefully called home by our heavenly father on her 60th birthday, leap day, Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004. She was preceded in death by and has now reunited with her deeply-missed mother, Rena Michel Terrebonne Melerine; her father, Alphonse Terrebonne, her stepfather, Robert "Mutt Green" Melerine and her step-son, Anthony "Tony" Clark Jr.

GOFF
Ms. Hannah Marie Goff, 79, of Big Point, Miss., died March 1, 2004, in Jackson County. She was born icon July 12, 1924, in Lucedale, Miss. Ms. Goff was a lifetime member of Big Point United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Wirth and Jennie Ellen Goff; brother, Burton C. Goff; and sister, Doris Cronier.

PEAVEY
Evelyn A. Peavey, 83, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Sunday, Feb. 29, 2004, in Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss. She was born icon Sept. 1, 1920, in Kosciusko, Miss., and has been a resident of Pascagoula since the early 1950s. She was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Pascagoula, Miss.

BROUGHTON
Mr. Joseph Lee "Boo Boo" Broughton was called home Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004. He was born icon June 9, 1953 in Moss Point, MS, to the late Clineice Stallworth Broughton. Joseph attended Magnolia High School and graduated from Moss Point High School. Joseph accepted Christ as his savior early in life. He was a member of Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Moss Point.

LEE
Mr. Joshua Lee, 22, of George County, Miss., died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, in Mobile, Ala. He was born icon Oct. 14, 1981, in Bastrop, La.

BEANE
Elizabeth Anne Beane, 57, of Lucedale, Miss., passed away Feb. 24, 2004, in Singing River Hospital. She was born icon March 2, 1948, in Atlanta, Ga. She was of the Baptist faith and a counselor with Singing River Mental Health.

BUTLER
Sister Clara Bell Butler, 84, of Moss Point, was born icon on Jan. 7, 1920, in Copiah County, Miss. to the union of Johnny and Cora Butler. She was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2004, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula, Miss.

DAWSON
Mr. Johnnie J. "Deedy" Dawson Sr., 78, of Moss Point, Miss., was born icon March 7, 1925, in Suggsiville, Ala., to the late Mason Dawson and Daisy Beck. He departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, in Gulfport, Miss. Mr. Dawson moved to Moss Point at an early age. He was a member of Christian Love Church of the Living God in Moss Point, Miss.

HUDSON
Nancy E. Gibson Moore Hudson, 87, of Lucedale, Miss., passed away Feb. 24, 2004. She was born icon Jan. 24, 1917, in George County, Miss. She was of the Methodist faith, and a member of the Gold Star Wives. She was preceded in death by James Moore and Clarence "Penny" Hudson.

MCARTHUR
Mr. Carpenter McArthur, 78, of Moss Point, Miss., died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born icon June 13, 1925, in Cleveland, Miss. He was retired from International Paper Company, where he worked as a paper maker. He was a member of East Moss Point Baptist Church and a past Lodge Master of the Moss Point Masonic Lodge 202.

GOODWIN
William "Bill" Roy Goodwin, 86, a retired Lieutenant Colonel for the United States Army after 30 years of service and a retired Civil Service Inspector General passed away at his residence on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004. Mr. Goodwin was born icon in Laurel, Miss. and resided in Laurel, Maryland, Ocean Springs, Miss. and New Orleans, La. He attended the University of Maryland and was a member of First Baptist Church in Pascagoula, Miss.

KING
Jean Maxine Haskins King died Feb. 23, 2004. She was born icon Sept. 1, 1921, in Cugahaga Falls, Ohio. She enlisted in the Coast Guard during World War II, and then married icon Glenn Royal King in 1945. She raised two sons, Richard Glenn King and Robert Charles King, as well as caring for two stepsons, John Allen King and William Glenn King.

MCLARTY
Keegon Allen McLarty, infant, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2004, at Singing River Hospital. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Carl McLarty.

RUBLE
Mrs. Katie V, Ruble, 80, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss. Mrs. Ruble was a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County. She was a professional seamstress and she was well known for her cakes and cookies. Mrs. Ruble was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Ocean Springs, where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Tucker Ruble Sr., and infant son, Robert Tucker Ruble Jr.

GRAHAM
John H. Graham Sr., 72, of Moss Point, Miss., died Feb. 23, 2004, in Moss Point. Mr. Graham was born icon Aug. 20, 1931, in Jackson County. He was a member of the Community of Christ in Escatawpa, Miss., and a self-employed contractor. He served in the Navy during the Korean conflict, where he received Naval Appreciation Medal from the Republic of Korea. Mr. Graham was a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lurline Graham; parents, Dewey Graham and Lucille Bryan; and his brother, Huey Graham.

HUDSON
Elizabeth Gibson Moore Hudson, 87, of Lucedale, Miss., passed away Feb. 24, 2004. She was born icon Jan. 24, 1917 in George County, Miss. She was of the Methodist faith, and a member of the Gold Star Wives. She was preceded in death by James Moore and Clarence "Penny" Hudson.

PARRETT
Mrs. Hattie Mae Davis Parrett, 71, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Feb. 23, 2004, in the home of her son, Darrell Parrett. She was born icon April 16, 1932.
