BENJAMIN
Mr. Willie Lee Benjamin, was a native of South Carolina, and a resident of Moss Point, Miss. He was born icon to the late L.C. and Lizzie Benjamin on July 27, 1928. He departed this life on Saturday, July 10, 2004 at home.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories, three devoted children, Joann (Major) Jackson, Willie Louis Benjamin, both of Moss Point, and Sharon (Moses) Carter of Mobile, Ala.; nine grandchildren, Major Jr., Marcus, Tekeyla and Omica Jackson of Moss Point, Willie Sam, and Nickolas Benjamin, Albert and Travis Rasco of Moss Point, and Moses Shakespeare Carter III of Mobile, Ala.; six great- grandchildren, all of Moss Point; a host of friends, and one devoted friend, Earl Fountain.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004, at St. John's Baptist Church, 4109 Pearl St., Moss Point, Miss., with the Rev. Robert Gholar officiating.

BRADLEY
Mrs. Vernita Ann Bradley, 66, a former resident of the Forts Lake Community, died June 23, 2004, in Coos Bay, Ore. She was born icon May 5, 1938, in Jackson County, Miss. Mrs. Bradley was a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and received a degree in home economics. She was a devoted wife and mother and will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Bradley was preceded in death by her father. Mr. Alfred E. Hurd Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Walter S. Bradley of Coos Bay, Ore.; two daughters, Kelly Worley of Washington and Elizabeth Campbell of Calif.; a son, Paul Bradley of Colo.; seven grandchildren; her mother, Cecelia L. Hurd of Forts Lake; five sisters, Adelaide H. Doherty and Jane H. Sims, both of Forts Lake, Irene Hawley of Illinois, Linda H. Smith of Tennessee and Faye H. McCarey of Montgomery, Ala.; two brothers, Alfred E. Hurd of Cropwell, Ala., and Louis Wayne Hurd of Saraland, Ala.
A memorial service will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Franklin Creek Baptist Church. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
Interment will follow in W.R. Clark Memorial cemetery.

BROWN
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, for Rita Mordica Brown, 84, of Hattiesburg, formerly of Gautier, Miss., who died July 14, 2004, at Adventist Health Center in Purvis.
The Rev. Pat O'Shaughnessy and Deacon Martin Finnegan will officiate. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Brown, Derek Brown, Greg Brown, Matt Brown, Chris Brown, Russell Mixon, Ben Mixon, Zack Mixon, Brian Byrd, Adam Brown, Alex Brown, Paul Kitchin, David Kitchin, Joseph Kitchin, Kenneth Finnegan and Darren Finnegan.
born in Hattiesburg, Mrs. Brown was retired after 14 years with the Registrar's Office at the University of Southern Mississippi. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hattiesburg and St. Mary's Catholic Church in Gautier.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Bill Brown; parents, George and Frances Mordica; brother, Anthony Mordica; and sister, Angela Pickett.
Survivors include four sons, George (Diane) Brown and Patrick Brown, all of Hattiesburg, Michael (Pat) Brown of Bay St. Louis, and Gerald (Susan) Brown of Poquoson, Va.; four daughters, Brenda (Martin) Finnegan and Joanne (Robert) Byrd, all of Ocean Springs, Susan (John) Kitchin of Shrewsbury, Mass., and Tori (Eddie) Hickson of Pascagoula; three brothers, George Mordica, James Mordica and Robert Mordica, all of Hattiesburg; four sisters, Mary Yates and Mary Ann Csaszar, both of Hattiesburg, Gertrude Pinto of North Providence, R.I., and Sister Marion Frances Mordica of Jackson; 22 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 16, with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.

DAVIDSON
Melvin Denzil Davidson Sr., 70, a native of Neshoba County, Miss., died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at home. He was former manager of Electrolux of Mobile and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Joseph Davidson; mother, Nealie Davidson; four brothers, Willie Davidson, Carlton Davidson, Herman Davidson, Luke Davidson; and one nephew, Glenn Davidson.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Davidson of Mobile, Ala.; sons, Melvin Denzil Davidson Jr. of Semmes, Ala., Kendall Darwin Davidson of Mobile, Ala., and Jeremy Kelly of Fla.; daughters, Teresa Carol Mercer of Mobile, Ala., Marilyn Ann Pierce of Grand Bay, Ala., and Sondra Ilene Walker of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Clayton Davidson of Pascagoula, Miss., and Eugene Davidson of Sebastopol, Miss.; sisters, Pauline Moore of Sebastopol, Miss., Josie Ray of Pascagoula, and Eloise Crocker of Pascagoula; and eight grandchildren.
Melvin resided with his beloved and devoted sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John R. Ray of Pascagoula, who cared for him for the past 25 years.
Visitation will be Friday, July 16, at Gilmer's Funeral Home, from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral hour in the chapel.
Burial will be in Biloxi National cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements by Gilmer's Funeral Home, Mobile, Ala.

DAVISON
Mary Alice Davison, 61, of Moss Point, Miss., was born icon July 1, 1943, in Drewry, Ala., to the union of Robert and Zelma Kirkland. She departed this life on July 12, 2004, after a brief illness.
Visitation services will be at noon, Sunday, July 18, 2004, at Freewill Pentecostal Church of God, 6431 Henry Ave., Moss Point, where the funeral service will begin promptly at 1 p.m. with the Elder Jeremiah Armstrong officiating.
Interment will take place at Scranton cemetery in Pascagoula.
Arrangements Entrusted to Millender's Funeral Home, 4412 Main St., Moss Point, Miss.

MAPLES
Mrs. Lovie Lee Marshall-Maples, born icon Dec. 2, 1928, in Ponotoc, Miss., to Robert Dalton and Martha Bell Owen-Marshall, departed this life for a better one in the precious arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, after a lengthy illness in Singing River Hospital.
Mrs. Maples was a member of Eastside Assembly of God Church in Moss Point. A devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, her life was her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Rudolph (Bug) Maples; son, Richard (Ricky) Maples and grandson, Alvia (Bubba) Hester Jr.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Alvia Hester and Deborah and Ray McDuffee, all of Orange Grove; grandchildren, Theresa Hester-Westerdahl, Larraine Hester, Jimmy McDuffee, Ashera Franklin and Richard Maples Jr., all of Orange Grove; great-grandchildren, Tara Westerdahl, Ashleigh Hester, Zachary Hester, Becky McDuffee, Josh McDuffee, Jordan Franklin and Rudy Franklin; a devoted sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Mickey Adams of Wade; sisters and brother-in-law, Ernie Sutton of Pascagoula, Jewell and Willie Wil-liams of Lucedale, and Juanita Mason of Big Point; a brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Jean Marshall of Moss Point; a host of nieces, nep-hews, friends and relatives. A devoted pastor, Wendell Stork, his wife, Linda, and the church family at Eastside Assembly of God in Moss Point.
A very special thank you to Dr. Timothy Hebert and the wonderful nurses in the S.I.C.U. of Singing River Hospital for all your care, devotion and tireless efforts. You were such a blessing not only to "Miss Lovie" but to us as well.
A visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, July 16, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, July 17, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home Chapel in Moss Point with the Rev. Wendell Stork officiating.
Interment will follow at Orange Grove cemetery in Moss Point.

PERRYMAN
Rosa Lee Wiley-Perryman affectionately known as "Bea" went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 9, 2004.
She was born icon to the late Rev. Fred and Lois Wiley on Feb. 16, 1921, in Calhoun, Ala. She united in matrimony to the late Eddie Lee Perryman Sr. in 1934. This union was blessed with nine children, a daughter who died at birth and one son, Eddie Lee Perryman "J.P., " preceded her in death.
Upon locating to the Pas, Point area, Sis Rosa united with the Church of the Living God under the pastoral leadership of Elder Steve Rivers. A member of the Usher Board, she was faithful in her services to the Lord until her demise.
Leaving to forever cherish the memories of her life and her love, are her children, Katie Mae Borden, Delores Perryman and Freddie Lee Perryman of Pascagoula, Cora Lee McCorvey of Ocean Springs, Miss., Willie Lee (Charlotte) Perryman of Moss Point, Willie George (Ruby) Perryman of Grand Bay, Ala., and Randolph (May Frances) Perryman of Helena, Miss.; a daughter-in-law, Mary Lee Perryman of Moss Point; 31 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 22 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 11 a.m. until noon, Saturday, July 17, 2004, at The Church of the Living God on Telephone Road, Pascagoula.
The funeral service will begin promptly at 12 noon from the church.
Interment will be in Scranton cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.

FRYE
Mr. E. David Frye, age 62, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Tuesday, July 13, 2004, in Ocean Springs, Miss. Mr. Frye was a native of Hattiesburg, Miss. He had been a Coast resident for the past 34 years. He was a very active member of the USM Alumni Association where he served on the Board of Directors for the Jackson County Chapter. Mr. Frye was an avid sportsman and a member of the G.C.C.A. He actively followed Southern Mississippi sports. He was a loving husband and father. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs. Mr. Frye was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Hattie S. Frye, and a brother, Dr. Julian E. Frye Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jane Newman Frye of Ocean Springs; a daughter, Amy Frye Johnson, and husband, Rhett, of Ocean Springs; and two nephews, J. Craig Frye of Gautier and Steven P. Frye of Ocean Springs.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Ocean Springs Chapel, Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
On Friday, July 16, 2004, there will be a 3 p.m. chapel service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to The First Baptist Church of Ocean Springs Building Fund, 602 Washington Ave., Ocean Spr-ings, Miss. 39564.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

LARSON
Francis Elliotte "Frankie" Larson, a lifelong resident of Pascagoula, Miss., and beloved father, passed away Monday, July 14, 2004. He was 64 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Claire May Larson, father, James William Larson and brother, Victor "Vic" Eugene Larson.
Mr. Larson is survived by the love of his life and mother of his children, Carol Ann Larson, who was at his side at the time of his death; two daughters, Lynn Larson Smith and son-in-law, Tim of Austin, Texas, Laurie Larson Millette and son-in-law, Mark of Ocean Springs; two sons, Francis "Keith" Larson and daughter-in-law, Pam and Victor "Kirk" Larson; two granddaughters, Macey Renault of Ocean Springs and Samantha Smith of Austin, Texas; one grandson, Jon-Marc Larson; one devoted sister, May Larson of Pascagoula; and one brother, Dr. Bill Larson and wife, Barbara of Ocean Springs; nieces, nephews and many loyal friends.
Mr. Larson graduated from Pascagoula High School in 1958. He then enrolled in the four-year sheet metal apprenticeship program at Ingalls Shipbuilding where he was awarded Outstanding Apprentice. He entered into private business in 1963 and was sole owner of Larson's Sheetmetal Works until his death. He was an avid boater and fisherman. He was State Golden Gloves Featherweight Boxing Champion in the early 1960's. He was a member of The Knights of Columbus and Elks Club. Mr. Larson was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Pascagoula.
Visitation will be at from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday with Rosary at 11:30 and a service following at noon at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss., with Father Gerard Cleary officiating.
Internment will follow at Jackson County Memorial Gardens, Pascagoula, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Bill Clotfelter, Luther Kuykendall, Lance Larson, Terry Levy, Jackie Madison and J.E. Smith.
Arrangements by O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss.
