Rev. James O. Magee Sr., 78, of Moss Point, Miss., was born icon March 2, 1926, in Seminary, Miss. Rev. Magee passed on to eternal life on Saturday, July 10, 2004, at his residence.
Viewing will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 17, 2004, at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 5425 Grierson St., Moss Point.
Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1 p.m. at the church with the Rev. James O. Magee Jr. officiating.
Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, 2004, at Biloxi National cemetery, Biloxi, Miss.

CZARNIK
Joseph Charles Czarnik Jr., 36, of Moss Point, Miss., died Friday, July 9, 2004, in Pascagoula. He was born icon Nov. 30, 1967, in Biloxi, Miss. Mr. Czarnik was employed by Metro Concrete of Ocean Springs as a truck driver. Joe loved to sing karaoke in his spare time. Mr. Czarnik is preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Joseph Charles Sr. and Mrs. Glenda Mae Cooley Czarnik.
He is survived by three sons, his twins, Brannon and Shannon Czarnik of Ocean Springs, and Tristian Czarnik of Moss Point; two brothers, James Edward Czarnik of Gautier, Roger Dale Czarnik of Biloxi; three sisters, Glenda Czarnik of Gautier, Donna Yates of Theodore, Ala., Deborah Czarnik of Columbus; nieces and nephews, Robin Prater of Fairhope, Ala., Michael Prater, Johnnie Prater, Brandy Lloyd, Alexis Lloyd, and Lacy Lloyd, all of Gautier, Stephanie Czarnik, Gerald Yates and Christina Yates, all of Theodore, Ala., and Brian Czarnik of Biloxi; and fiance, Melanie Bexton of Moss Point.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Wendell Stork officiating. Interment will follow in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula.
Pallbearers will be Joel Lloyd, Aaron Brewer, Billie Prater, Roger Czarnik, James Czarnik, Michael Prater and James (Cooney) Yates.

DAVIS
Mr. Lawrence Wesley "Larry" Davis, 65, of Wade, Miss., died Sunday, July 11, 2004, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born icon in Wade on Dec. 3, 1938. In May 1999, he retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after 42 years of service. Mr. Davis was a member of Caswell Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert V. Davis Sr.; stepfather, R.J. Diamond; two brothers, Robert Davis Jr. and Bill Diamond; and two brothers-in-law, Billy Wayne Tynes and Lloyd Vogt.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Davis, and three daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah (Charles) Parker, Vondal (Jon) Overstreet, all of Wade and Cynthia (Donnie) Dueitt of Harleston. He has seven grandchildren, Angela (Tim) Evans, Laura and Stacey Overstreet, Rachel and Charles Parker Jr., all of Wade, Raymond and Ryan Dueitt of Harleston. Survivors also include his mother, Mrs. Susie Diamond, and three sisters, Betty Tynes, Kathy (Eddy) Hamrick, all of Wade, Reba Capers of New Orleans, sister-in-law, Carol Diamond of Wade; numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, at Caswell Springs United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Fisher, assisted by the Rev. H.W. Parker, officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove cemetery in Wade, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Vinson Adkison, Elton Parker, Benny Goff, E.J. Hamrick, Steve Tynes, Terry Sims and Norman Cupit. Honorary pallbearers will be the Fellowship Sunday School Class.

PRASSENOS
Mrs. Jean Wayne Pras-senos, 70, of Hurley, Miss., departed this life at her home on Sunday, July 11, 2004. born icon Jean Wayne Woozencraft, in Gulfport, Miss., on Oct. 6, 1934. After Graduating from Moss Point High School in 1952, she married icon Harry George Prassenos. born icon unto their union, were two sons, William Harry Prassenos and George Harry Prassenos.
Mrs. Prassenos worked several years as Office Manager for the Escatawpa Utility District.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Henry Woozencraft, and mother, Ruby Viola Woozencraft.
Mrs. Prassenos, is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mr. Harry George Prassenos of Hurley; two sons, William Harry Prassenos and daughter-in-law Emma of Houston Texas, George Harry Prassenos and daughter-in-law, Cheryl of Moss Point, Miss.; seven grandchildren, Terika (Brad) Arnold, Elizabeth (Aaron) Parish, Alexa Roberts, Kevin Hester, Jeffery Hester, Alicia (Jarrod) Morrison, Harry George (Erica) Prassenos, Jacob (Pam) Prassenos and Amber Evelyn Prassenos; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday July 14, 2004, at the Chapel of Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa, Miss., with the Rev. Ben Bohanick officiating.
Burial will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Miss.

SWITZER
Mrs. Rosa Lee Switzer, 93, a native of Pineapple, Ala., and a longtime resident of Grand Bay, Ala., died Saturday, July 10, 2004, at her daughter's home in Pass Christian, Miss. Mrs. Switzer was the oldest living member at the First Baptist Church of Grand Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Switzer, whom she married icon May 18, 1933, and two sons, James Dudley Switzer and Charles Henry Switzer Jr.
She is survived by three daughters, Mary Louise (Robert) Nicholson, Theodore, Ala., Alice (Daniel) Skutack, Auburn, Ala. and Betty June (Jim) Reaves, Pass Christian, Miss.; one daughter-in-law, Maria Weber Switzer of Grand Bay, Ala.; one sister, Lillian Heidleburg, Pascagoula, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at the Chapel of Serenity Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the service time. Interment will take place in Grand Bay cemetery.

FORTSON
Loraine Fortson, 92, of Pascagoula, Miss., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 6, 2004.
She was born icon Feb. 18, 1912, in Greenville, Ala., to the late Eddie Parson Sr. and Virdie Hartley.
She leaves to cherish her memories: a devoted daughter, Agnes "Lou Ceal" Boswell of Pascagoula, Miss.; a son, Jerome (Shant᩠Webb Sr. of Atlanta, Ga.; a godchild, John D. Harrison of Dallas, Texas; a special grandson, Ryan Boswell of South Bend, Ind.; and eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, with the funeral service beginning promptly at 1 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. James Magee officiating.
Interment will be at Scranton's cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
Arrangements are by Cook-Galloway Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

JIMMERSON
Mrs. Ada Marie Jimmerson
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give."
On Wednesday morning, July 7, 2004, one we loved and knew stepped across the threshold that we call death. We must not mourn as those without hope for our beloved "Marie" has gone to get the great reward promised to all who faithfully serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Ada Marie Jimmerson was born icon May 16, 1940, in Neshoba County to the late Jim McWilliams and Claudie E. Hill Willis.
Ada Marie was formerly employed at the Grand Casino, she later went into private home care. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church were she once served on the Usher Board.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
In her passing Ada Marie leaves to cherish a loving and devoted husband, Oscar Jimmerson, one son, Grover (Peggy) McWilliams, one granddaughter, Lisa LaShay McWilliams; five sisters, Mrs. Lena (Theodis) Clemons, Mrs. Jeanette (Ralph) Smily, Ms. Willio Dean McWilliams all of Philadelphia, Miss., Mary Dean (Edward) Rasco of Moss Point, Miss., Mrs. Jeanette Willis of Couira, Calif.; seven brothers, Mr. T.C. (Susie) McWilliams of Meridian, Miss., Mr. James McWilliams of Moss Point, Mr. Jim Richard (Annie) McWilliams, Mr. Lewis (Bilola) McWilliams, Mr. Henry L. (Maxine) Willis, Mr. Eddie (Gloria) Willis, all of Philadelphia, Miss., Mr. Gene Willis of Pomona, Calif.; a loving father and mother-in-law, Walter (Earlie) Jimmerson; five sisters-in-law, Minnie B. Collier, Flora Moore, Annie (Joseph) Dorsey, Clara (Arthur) Penton and Debra (Curles) Montgomery; two brothers-in-law, Earnest (Diana) Jimmerson and Kenneth Lee (Michelle) Jimmerson; devoted nieces, nephews, friends and a host of children she has helped raise, who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Moss Point, with the Rev. James Magee Jr. officiating. Viewing will be from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

SINGLETON
Ms. Debra Christine Singleton, 49, departed this life on July 7, 2004, in Three Rivers. She was born icon in Moss Point, Miss., on Aug. 27, 1954, and she resided in Atlanta, Ga., most of her adult life. In September 2002, she retired to Fairhope, Ala.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Singleton of Wade, Miss., and four siblings, Terriel and Donna Singleton of Paragould, Ark., Laura and Kenneth Headrick of Temple, Ga., Kathryn and Joe Ramsey of Kingston, Ga., and Mitchell Singleton of Houston, Texas. She leaves no children of her own but totally embraced her role as aunt to her two nieces, Kenley and Caitlyn Singleton of Paragould, Ark. She loved them dearly.
Ms. Singleton was a 1981 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, majoring in accounting with honors. Professionally she was employed as a CPA. She also earned her license to pilot a single engine land aircraft in 1991. She is a Christian by profession of faith, believing that Jesus is the one and only Son of God.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, July 11, 2004, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa, Miss. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Jackson County Funeral Services with Bro. Bill Barton and Bro. Archie Holley officiating.

TAITE
Cornelius Jerome Taite, 23, of Moss Point, Miss., died Thursday, July 8, 2004. He was born icon Sept. 29, 1980, in Pascagoula, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Johnny and Ruby Lee Taite, and uncles Marcus, Thomas, James, Billy and Tiny Taite.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Rochelle Taite of Waynesboro, Miss.; father, James Anderson of Moss Point; nephews, Breland DeFlanders and Corey Taite Jr.; nieces, Kelsey DeFlanders, Shaneka Williams and Paris Taite; a great-aunt, Mrs. Mable Stallworth, and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, at Freewill Pentecostal Church of God of Moss Point.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 12, 2004.
Interment will be in Scranton cemetery in Pascagoula.

WATERS
Mr. George Ira Waters, 83, died at his home in Oklahoma City, Okla., on July 3, 2004. He was born icon Feb. 21, 1921, in Pascagoula, Miss., to Albert and Augusta (Cook) Waters.
After graduating from Pascagoula High School he moved to Jackson, Miss., where he graduated from Draughn's Business School and was employed with Colonial Baking Co. in the accounting department. While in Jackson, he met and married icon his sweetheart, Ethel McCearley Erricson, on Aug. 17, 1941.
George was drafted and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After the war ended, he returned to Jackson where he continued working at Colonial Baking Co. until he was transferred to Oklahoma City to work for Rainbo Baking Co. He briefly retired and began working for Lawns by Murphy as an accountant. He was employed there until his death.
He attended St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral where he was actively serving as a lay reader and treasurer. He loved his church family. He also attended St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula faithfully during his visits with his family in Pascagoula.
George was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ethel, who died on April 29, 2004. A little over two months after her death, his Heavenly Father saw fit for him to join her. He was also preceded in death by his father, Albert Waters, and mother Augusta Waters; four brothers, Paul, who died at 5 months of age, his oldest brother, Fred, of Pascagoula, Miss., his bluegrass brother, Ray, of Providence, R.I., and his baby brother and fishing buddy, Joe, also of Pascagoula, Miss.
Survivors include his daughter, Letitia (Waters) Pierce and her husband, Larry, and their five children, Logan, Lane, Luke, Leiden and Laura, all of Newalla, Okla.; George would always say that he had five "great" grandchildren and they were great to him. He is also survived by his sister, Annette Riley of Pascagoula; two brothers, Louis Waters and his wife, Myrna, of LaRose, La., Owen Waters of Pascagoula; three sisters-in-law, Eva Waters of Pascagoula, Alice Waters of Providence, R.I., and Patty Waters of Moss Point, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2004, at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in Oklahoma City, Okla.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2004, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula, Miss.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004, at St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula with Father John Gibson officiating.
Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Woodlawn cemetery in Summit, Miss., where he will be buried next to his wife.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the memorial fund at St. Paul's Cathedral.
Arrangements are by O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home of Pascagoula, Miss.
