Mrs. Mary Lou Garrett, age 91 passed away Aug. 4, 2005 in Amory, Miss. and was born icon June 1, 1914 in Mize, Miss. Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

LACOSTE
Frances "Bobbie" Favre Lacoste, 77, died Thursday, August 4, 2005 in Ocean Springs, Miss.

BAUMBERGER
Mrs. Deborah Mae Baumberger, age 45, of Gautier, Miss., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at a local hospital. Mrs. Baumberger worked as an aircraft mechanic for Mobil Aerospace Engineering. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. While in the Air Force, she worked as a mechanic crew chief on F-111's and F-15's. She was a member of the American Legion and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

CRANE
Mr. William Jackson Crane, age 74, of Escatawpa, Miss., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005. Mr. Crane was born icon Nov. 16, 1930, in Jackson County where he had been a lifelong resident. Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

EMERSON
Rose Ella Mermaid Messick Emerson, 74, passed on to be with Jesus on Aug. 5, 2005 in Pascagoula. She was born icon on Dec. 3, 1930 in Biloxi, Miss.

RUSH
Mr. Thomas Milton Rush, 84, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Aug. 4, 2005 in Pascagoula. He was born icon Feb. 26, 1921 in Newton County, Miss.

LYDIA F. BABER, 95, of Lucedale, Miss., died Aug. 3, 2005. Sigler Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

RUSH
THOMAS MILTON RUSH, 84, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Aug. 4, 2005. Heritage Funeral Home, Escatawpa, Miss.

ADKINS
Maxine Mildred Adkins, 75, of Section Line Rd., Lucedale, Miss., passed away Aug. 2, 2005, at Glen Oaks Nursing Home. She was born icon Nov. 30, 1929, in Akron, Ohio. She was a 38-year member of Salem United Methodist Church and an electric material handler at Ingalls.

BROWN
Mr. James Robert Brown, Sr., was born icon April 7, 1948, to the union of the late Mr. Robert Ford Brown and Mrs. Jessie Mae McCann Brown Hill of State Line (Greene County), Miss. He was escorted from this life on Thursday, July 28, 2005, at 9:10 a.m. at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Biloxi, Miss. to enter into rest.

MRS. MAGNOLIA McLEMORE, 84, of Leakesville, died Aug. 3, 2005. Cook-Galloway Funeral Home, Lucedale.

MORGAN
Henry S. (Pete) Morgan, 80, of Wade, died Aug. 3, 2005, in Wade. He was born icon Oct. 13, 1924, in Moss Point..

SIMS
Claudia Mae Sims, 48, a resident of Green Park, Mobile, Ala., passed away July 30, 2005. She was born icon Aug. 27, 1956 in Covington County, Ala. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

ADKINS
MRS. MAXINE MILDRED ADKINS, 75, of Lucedale, Miss., died Aug. 2, 2005.

DAVIS
Mr. Romeo Davis, 74, of Grand Bay, Ala. formerly of Moss Point, died Tuesday, August 2, 2005, in Mobile, after a long and courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease. He was born icon May 6, 1931, in Simpson County. Mr. Davis was a retired carpenter having worked 18 years for Smith Homes of Gautier. He had a love for the assorted wonders at flea markets, and was a long-time member of World Wide Church of God in Mobile. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Samson Allen Davis, Sr. and a brother, J.B. Davis. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Dorine Davis of Grand Bay; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Frank LaRue of Slidell, La., and Gwen and Larry Beane of Grand Bay; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Davis of Kreole; three brothers, D.A. and Liz Davis of Baker, Fla., Howard and Betty Davis of Vancleave, and Samson, Jr. and Diane Davis of Pascagoula; a sister and brother-in-law, Rosetta and Billy Ladnier of Moss Point; three grandchildren, Cheryl Bastarache, Franklin LaRue II, and Michael LaRue; step-grandson and wife, Jason and Katie Beane; and four great-grandchildren, Jacob Bastarache, Isaac Bastarache, Daniel Bastarache, Lilly Beane; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, August 4, 2005, from 1 until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will be held immediately following the visitation, at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Gibson cemetery in the Basin Community of George County. Arrangements by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point.

HOLLISTER
Katharine Bell Stevens Hollister, 82, of Starkville, died Aug. 1, 2005, in Starkville. She was born icon in Macon, Miss. She was a retired teacher and KA "Housemother" at Miss. State University, and a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. She was a graduate of MSCW (MUW) and University of Mississippi.

MRS. CLAUDIA MAE SIMS, 48, died July 30, 2005. George County Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

THOMPSON
Wendell E. "Jack" Thompson, age 69, 10 Madison Court, Johnson City, died suddenly Sunday, July 31, 2005, in Gateway Medical Center, Clarksville, Tenn. A native of Benton, Ken., he was a son of the late Luther and Zera Gordon Thompson. Mr. Thompson a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, Elizabethton. He was retired from the U. S. Army having served in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. He was a Fourth Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Thompson had served as a Deputy Sheriff in Conway County, Ark. and was on the Sheriff's reserve in Jackson County, Miss. In addition to his parents, Mr. Thompson was preceded in death by one son, Jeffery D. Thompson, one sister, Anna Myrl Byerley and one brother, Landren D. "Jackie" Thompson. Survivors are his wife, Kathryn L. Thompson of the home; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Connie and David Headley, Port Huron, Mich., Bernadette and Dale Bowling, Johnson City, Tenn.; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Kerri Thompson, Ocean Springs; six grandchildren, C.J. and Cara Bowling, Jeffrey and Savanna Thompson, Susie Descant, David Headley; three step-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gary Thompson, Shan Thompson, both of Paducah, Ken.; and one sister, Phyllis Poe, Benton Ken. Several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. The Mass of the Resurrection for Mr. Thompson will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, August 4 in St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Rev. Dennis Kress officiating. Music will be under the direction of the church. Interment will follow in Mountain Home National cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the Tennessee Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors Program. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 3 in Tetrick Funeral Home Riverside chapel with a rosary service to follow. Active pallbearers will be members of the Knights of Columbus. TREHERN
Mr. James Lloyd Trehern, age 85, of Foley, Ala., passed away Monday, August 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born icon Jan. 22, 1920, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Trehern was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy; he retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Trehern is survived by his wife, Helen F. Trehern of Foley; four stepchildren; two brothers, Oliver Raymond Trehern of Pensacola, Robert G. Trehern of Chickasaw, Ala., 11 step grandchildren and several Step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Aug. 5, 2005, at 11 a.m. at Oak Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. John Stacey officiating. Burial will follow in the Myrtle Grove Methodist cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home, Thursday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Oak Lawn Funeral Home, in charge of arrangements.

COX
Nancy Myers Cox, 66, of Gautier, Miss., slipped peacefully away Thursday, July 28, 2005 at her home. She was born icon Aug. 8, 1938. She was preceded in death by her mother, Floy Sauls Myers. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Clifford Cox of Gautier; her father and stepmother, Rufus B. and Loree Myers of Ocean Springs; a step son, Wayne Rogers of Winchester, N. H.; sisters, Beth (Ed) Crump of Wade, Miss. and Lois (Jerry) Smith of Chesterfield, Mo.; her church family at Gautier United Pentecostal Church, and other neighbors and friends. Great treasures Ms. Nancy never possessed; but friendship and a warm smile she gave, nevertheless. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005 at Biloxi National cemetery, Biloxi, Miss. Arrangements by O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Gautier, Miss.

DRISH
Elizabeth (Betty) Drish, 66, of Biloxi, Miss., a civilian retiree from Keesler Air Force Base passed away on July 26, 2005. A memorial service will be held at Larcher Blvd. Chapel, Keesler Air Force Base, 11 a.m. to 12 noon on August 3, 2005.

BANG
Anna Ruth Burgess Bang, age 74, a native of Houlka, Miss. and a resident of Moss Point, Miss. for over 57 years, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, at her residence.

McQUEEN
Dewey Hobson McQueen, 66, of Escatawpa, Miss. entered in eternal rest with the Lord on July 29, 2005.

COOLEY
Elsie Elizabeth Robertson Cooley, age 91 died Friday July 29, 2005, in Harleston, Miss.

KITSON
Mrs. Marie Alberta "Bert" Kitson went home to be with her Savior Friday, July 29, 2005, in Ocean Springs, Miss.
