Pauline Downey Wilson, age 68, died Aug. 15, 2005, at her residence in Grove Hill, Ala. Mrs. Wilson was a native of Mobile, Ala. and a retired teacher, having taught in Pascagoula, Miss.
AZWELL
Mr. Ben D. Azwell, 58, a lifelong resident of Pascagoula, Miss., died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005, at his home. He was born
on April 25, 1947, in Pascagoula. Mr. Azwell retired with 33 years of service in law enforcement as a Captain with the Moss Point and Gautier Police Departments. Most recently he worked at Northrup Grumman Ship Systems as the 2nd shift Captain of Security. He was a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church and was a Master Mason at Masonic Lodge #419 in Pascagoula. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, and will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
GOLDMAN
John Michael Goldman, Jr., 29, died at home on Aug. 14, 2005. He was born
on Nov. 4, 1975, in Pascagoula Miss. and was a lifelong resident of the Salem Community in North Jackson County. He attended Jackson County School for Exceptional Children. He was an active member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
MCLEOD
OSCAR BRUNO MCLEOD, 40, of Stone Mountain, Ga., died Aug. 14, 2005. Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.
TOUSINAU
Mrs. Earleen (Mitchell) Tousinau of Pascagoula, Miss. went to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, James Ellis Tousinau on Aug. 13, 2005 in Helena Miss. She was born
in the free state of Tallahatchie the gateway to the delta. Mrs. Tousinau enjoyed a wonderful life traveling with her husband from New York, Hawaii, California, Maryland and points in between. She never slowed down, even after her husband's death. She turned 69 years young in England traveling in Europe and visiting old friends who lived there. She had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. Mrs. Tousinau was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pascagoula, Pascagoula Eastern Star, and Rebekahs. She was very active in the volunteer work putting many hours in at the Red Cross, an active poll worker, and Singing River Hospital Auxiliary.

Ida Mae Carter, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2005 in Moss Point, Miss. She was born
Sept. 5, 1924 in Jackson County, Miss. Mrs. Carter was a member of Escatawpa Assembly of God Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Minnie Mahathy; her husband, Fred L. Carter; two brothers, Ray Mahathy and Arnold Mahathy, Sr.; and one granddaughter, Tara M. McDonough.

Hilliard Wood "Red" Slater, Jr., 81, of Gautier, died Saturday, Aug. 13, 2005. He was born
Oct. 19, 1923, in Pascagoula, Miss., to Ethel Brondum Slater and H.W. Slater, Sr.
LANGLEY
Charlotte Langley, 73 of Gautier Miss., a devoted wife, mother, daughter, teacher and friend has passed through our lives to be with God. After battling alzheimers for four years, Ms. Langley expired on Aug. 11, 2005. Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

May 17, 1928, in Leonox, Ala. Bettie Sue was a native of Chickasaw, Ala., and a resident of Escatawpa, Miss., where she passed to GLORY on Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, at her home at 5:30 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert A. and Ella Sue Boutwell.

Mary Kathryn Garner, 67, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Miss. Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Ott & Lee Funeral home in Morton with burial in the Springfield cemetery near Morton. Visitation was Monday, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. George Washington Moore, age 71, of Wade, Miss., passed away Aug. 6, 2005, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was born
Oct. 25, 1933, in Butler County, Ala. Mr. Moore retired from International Paper Company. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Barton Assembly of God Church. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ethel Moore.

Mrs. Willie Christine Hood Snell, 82, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2005, in Pascagoula. She was born
Nov. 5, 1922, in Duck Hill (Montgomery, County), Miss. Mrs. Snell was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church in Pascagoula. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. John D. Hood and Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Hood Turner, her husband, Mr. Claude Jackson Snell, Sr., a daughter, Flo Ann Pickart, and numerous brothers and sisters.
