Mr. Bobby Charles Alexander, age 71, of Lucedale, Miss., died Thursday, March 23, 2006, in Lucedale. Mr. Alexander was born icon November 30, 1934, in Jayess, Miss. Mr. Alexander was a former service manager at Estabrook Ford for more than thirty years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Sara Alexander; daughter, Risa Ann Alexander; and brother, Robert Alexander.
He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Joann Alexander of Lucedale, Miss.; son, Russell (Teresa) Hewit of Hattiesburg, Miss.; son, Christopher Alexander of Lucedale, Miss.; son, Ivan (Cindy) Alexander of Gautier, Miss.; son, Darren (Cheryl) Alexander of Pascagoula, Miss.; daughter, Emily (Robert) Jordan of Lucedale, Miss.; son, Walt (Carol) Alexander of Pascagoula, Miss.; eleven grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister, Eudora (Ron) Blackburn of Baton Rouge, La.; nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Visitation will be Monday, March 27, 2006, from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss.
A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Father McDermott officiating.

ELDER
Ethel Dayton Elder, 98, formerly of Moss Point, Miss., was born icon Jan. 2, 1908, in Waterford, Conn. She died Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Montgomery, Ala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freeman Elder; her son-in-law, Edwin B. Robbins; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Nelson Dayton; one brother, Arthur Dayton; and two sisters, Janet Pukas and Lillian Truitt.
In her younger days she was active in civic and church affairs, teaching Sunday school and visiting shut-ins. She was also known for her cooking, entertaining, and gardening. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pascagoula, Miss.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Robbins, Montgomery, Ala.; granddaughter, Linda McIntyre, Montgomery, Ala.; grandson and his wife, Steve and Jane Robbins, Beavercreek, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Jenny McIntyre Cone and her husband Matt, Jeff McIntyre and his wife Rebekah, William Robbins, and Daniel Robbins; and a sister, Arleen Schultz.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 27, at Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula with The Rev. Bruce Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 2710 Pascagoula Street, Pascagoula, Miss. 39567.

HAMILTON
Mrs. Anna Mae Hamilton, age 95, a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Miss., died Friday, March 24, 2006, in Vancleave. Mrs. Hamilton was born icon November 14, 1910, in Wade, Miss. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a terrific mother-in-law. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Faggard; husband of 51 years, Archie Lee Hamilton; and son, Myril A. Hamilton.
She is survived by one son, Terrell L. (Lieselotte E.) Hamilton of Gulfport, Miss.; daughter-in-law, Deiadra Hamilton of Ocean Springs, Miss.; three grandchildren, Michael Hamilton of Fort Worth, Texas; DeAna (Hunter) Cobb of Mobile, Ala.; Michele Hamilton of Joshua, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Mycah Hamilton of Fort Worth, Texas, Haven and Kayman Evans of Joshua, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 26, 2006, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss. Funeral services will be Monday, March 27, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jerry Reed officiating.
Interment will follow at Serene Memorial Gardens cemetery in Escatawpa, Miss.

STEVENS
Mr. Clyde M. Stevens, 70, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Thursday, March 23, 2006, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Stevens was a resident of the community for 30 years. He coached girls softball in the Ocean Springs schools and was an adult chaperone for the school band. He was a vice president of the machinist local, president of Windsor Porte Civic Association, and a lifetime member of the D.A.V. He served in the U.S. Navy for 23 years and served in Vietnam. Mr. Stevens worked at Northrop Grumman (Ingalls) for 27 years, worked for Walmart of d'Iberville for one year, and worked in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He was a member of McLeod Masonic Lodge #424, and attended the First United Pentecostal Church of Ocean Springs.
Mr. Stevens was preceded in death by his parents, T.A. Stevens and Lola B. Melton Stevens, brother, Hubert A. Stevens, and nephew, Edgar A. Stevens.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Margaret Stevens, originally of Ireland and now a resident of Ocean Springs; daughter, Colline H. Stevens, of Ocean Springs; two sons, Michael J. Brunner of Ocean Springs, and Clarence Brunner of Lawrenceville, Ga.; sister, Helen F. Menchaca and family of San Antonio, Texas; brother, Dr. Kenneth (Betty) Stevens of Gulfport, Miss.; sister-in-law, Christine Stevens Cosper of Biloxi, Miss.; and five grandchildren, Jonathen, Christopher, Sabrina, Summer and Daniel.
Visitation will be on Monday, March 27, 2006, from 6 until 9 p.m., at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Tuesday, March 28, 2006, there will be an 11:30 a.m. chapel service in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Biloxi National cemetery.
Mr. Stevens is a man that will be dearly loved and missed by all who knew him. He was a loving father and forever friend.

DOVE
MR. ARTHUR DAVID DOVE, SR., 80, of Lucedale, Miss., died March 19, 2006. George County Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

FOSTER
Mr. LeRoy F. Foster, 78, of Gautier, Miss., went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, in Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss. He was born icon Jan. 23, 1928, in St. Joseph, Mo., and has been a resident of Gautier for 49 years. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Foster was the founder and President of Foster's Heating and Air Conditioning in Gautier. From 1952-1979, he was employed with Ingalls Shipbuilding in the Electrical and Quality Assurance department. Mr. Foster was a devoted and active member of First Baptist Church in Gautier where he was a deacon since 1957.
Mr. Foster is preceded in death by his parents, Walter B. Foster and Florence Foster; brother, Leo W. Foster.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Foster, Gautier; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Foster (Tracy), Rex Foster (Amelie); daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Foster Randolph (Grant), all of Gautier; sister, Betty Roberts, of Gautier; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Pope (Billy), Brad Foster, Shannon Myrick (Don), Stacy McArthur (Shannon), Sherri Germann (Brad), Walt Foster, Joey Randolph (Amanda), and Bryan Randolph; eight + great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, large church family, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2006, 6 until 8 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 25, 2006, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Gautier with Bro. Billy Williams and Bro. David Aultman officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church.
Active pallbearers will be his grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons and Honorary Deacons of First Baptist Church in Gautier.
Interment will follow at Pinecrest cemetery, Gautier, Miss.
Memorials may be made in his memory to his church, First Baptist Church in Gautier, P.O. Box 37, Gautier, Miss. 39553 or American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, Miss. 39507.

SEYMOUR
Mrs. Veronica Elaine Ward Seymour, age 43, of Vancleave, Miss., died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in Vancleave.
Roni was a wonderful person who was very talented in photography and computer skills. She won several awards for her photography. She had her own computer business and taught computer classes. Her heart and doors were always open to welcome friends and family at anytime, especially at a time of need. Roni had a very big heart and was always giving and doing for others and never expecting anything in return. She was always there when you needed her and was loved by her entire community. Her world revolved around her beloved husband and son. She was our beloved mother, wife, aunt, daughter, sister and sister-in-law and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn H. Seymour, son, Joseph David Seymour, mother, Pauline Janice Hill Ward, father, Charles David Ward, all of Vancleave; sister, Wendolyn R. Ward Maples and husband, Timothy, of Ocean Springs; and brother, Charles David Ward, Jr., of Lebanon, Tenn.
On Friday, March 24, 2006, there will be a 2 p.m. graveside service in Seymour cemetery in Gulf Hills.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

WHITTLE
Lula Edith Whittle, age 90, of Vancleave, Miss., died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, in Vancleave.
Mrs. Whittle was a lifelong resident of the community and had worked as a housekeeper at Howard Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Vancleave.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Alvin G. Carlander, Sr. and Melvin J. Whittle, a daughter, Nena D. Tanner, parents, Jessie W. and Mattie Goff Tanner, sister, Matilda Taylor, brother, James D. Tanner, and four grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Lula N. Barbaree of Ocean Springs; Margie L. Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; and Manna J. Weil of Cincinatti, Ohio; two sons, Alvin G. Carlander, Jr. of Vancleave; and Algot G. Carlander of Slidell, La.; caregivers, Rachel and Willie Tanner, 22 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 23, 2006, from 5 until 8 p.m., at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, March 24, 2006, there will be an 11 a.m. church service at the Community of Christ Church in Vancleave, where friends may call from 10 until 11 a.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

GREEN
MR. LOYD LAMAR GREEN, 86, of Lucedale, Miss., died March 19, 2006. George County Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

CRESWELL
Bonnie Pearl Creswell, a resident of Montgomery, Ala., went on to be with The Lord the 20th day of March, 2006. Bonnie was born icon June 13, 1931, in Crenshaw County, Ala. to the late John and Lonnie Lee Green. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Billy Eugene Creswell. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Green and three sisters, Ruby (Green) Owens, Lillie Mae (Green) Staggers and Dorothy (Green) Hall.
Bonnie is survived by her brother, George W. Green (Stella), and two sons, John Wendell Creswell (Nita) of Pascagoula, Miss. and Billy Floyd Creswell (Jodi) of Montgomery, Ala.; eight grandchildren, Jessica Creswell Herrington of Mobile, Ala., Kendra Creswell Valli and Kara Lynne Creswell of Pascagoula, Miss., John Erik Creswell of Tallassee, Ala. and Kelley Adair Creswell, Alexander Brooks Creswell, Elijah Lane Creswell and Isabella Claire Creswell of Montgomery, Ala.; and three great grandchildren, Anna Laren Herrington of Mobile, Ala., Chloe Leigh Murphy of Pascagoula, Miss. and Ethan Troupe Creswell of Tallassee, Ala. Bonnie moved to Montgomery, where she met her husband and devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and later having a career working with her husband in the finance business. Bonnie took great joy in cooking and gardening. She was a life long Christian, serving her Sunday school classes and was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Montgomery Ala.
Visitation and services will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2006, from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Helena, Miss., officiated by the Rev. Dr. Robbie Howard. There will also be a visitation held Wednesday, March 22, 2006, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Union Springs, Ala. Burial will follow at Union Springs Perpetual Care in Union Springs, Ala.

POOLE
Mr. Robert Jerry Poole, 85, of Forts Lake, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Pascagoula. He was born icon June 4, 1920, in Wilmer, Ala. Mr. Poole was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from International Paper Company after 42 years of service and later retired after 14 years with Jackson County. He was an avid deer and fox hunter, loved listening to his dogs run, and enjoyed his time in his garden. Mr. Poole had a love for entertaining his friends and listening to country-bluegrass music. He attended Forts Lake Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Van and Mrs. Thenia Pierce Poole, a brother, Irving "Boots" Poole, and three sisters, Annie Mae Baria, Gladys Daigle and Mattie Gentry.
He leaves to cherish his memories and everlasting love to his wife of 64 years, Mrs. Annie C. Maples Poole of Forts Lake, four daughters and three sons-in-law, Marlyn Poole Koskela, Doreen P. and Mickey Koskela, Judy P. and Terry E. Stork and Jerri Ann and Dempsey Cauley, all of Forts Lake; nine grandchildren, Shane Baria, Matthew and Rhonda Baria, Aaron and Nija Koskela, Darla and Scottie Rogers, Tara and Dewayne Johnson, Adrian and Travis Bragg, Jeremy and Ada Cauley, Amanda Cauley and Jacob Cauley; 11 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Nadine Embry and Lucille McSwain, both of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., Nettie Rogers of Shalamar, Fla.; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 21, 2006, from 6 until 9 p.m. at Forts Lake Assembly of God Church in Forts Lake. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at 2 p.m. from Forts Lake Assembly of God Church with Rev. Tim Cauley and Rev. Travis Brown officiating. There will be a one hour visitation in the church prior to service time. Interment will follow in W.R. Clark Memorial cemetery in Forts Lake.
Pallbearers will be Elbert Wright, Billy Patteson, David Cain, Scottie Rogers, Travis Bragg and Dewayne Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be T.J. Porter and James Odom.

ROBERTS
James McCoy "Cow Boy" Roberts, 76, of Moss Point, Miss., died on Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Singing River Hospital.
He was born icon on July 3, 1929, in Henderson, Ken. and has been a resident of Moss Point for 31 years. Mr. Roberts was a life-time welder having worked for Chevron, Ingalls Shipbuilding, and retired in 1990 from Moss Point School System. Mr. Roberts was truly a jack of all trades and also worked as an electrician.
He is preceded in death by his son, Skip Roberts.
Mr. Roberts is survived by his spouse, Caroline Roberts; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Stephen Hill, of Moss Point; two sons, Danny Roberts of Florida and John Roberts of Indiana; numerous grandchildren and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 22, 2006, 6 until 9 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Gautier Katrina Relief Fund.
