SHADDOCK
Mrs. Kate Otey Eddins Shaddock, age 92, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, in Daph-ne, Ala.
She was preceded in death her husband, Mr. George Rol-lins Shaddock and an infant daughter, Nina Shaddock.
The daughter of Katie Mae Yerger Eddins and Joseph Albert Eddins, Mrs. Shaddock was a native of Rosedale, Miss. She attended Randolph-Macon Women's College and Rhodes College and was a life-long member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was involved in many church and civic activities and was an active member of the National Society of Colonial Dames of XVII Century, the Hughenot Society, and the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She is survived by: one daughter: Joanne S. (Kirby) Kilpatrick of Pinehurst, N.C.; one son: George (Ann) Stigler Shaddock of Pascagoula, Miss.; one granddaughter: Marjorie (Shannon) Shaddock Millette; four grandsons: George Hampton Shaddock, Jefferson (Courtney) Kirby Kilpatrick, John (Patti) Stigler Kilpatrick, and Joseph Fletcher Kilpatrick; seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, Rosedale, Miss.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 155, Rosedale, Miss. 38765.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes and Crematory, 27409 US Hwy. 98, Fairhope, Ala.

BONHAM
Mrs. Letty D. Bonham, 92, formerly of Vancleave, Miss., and more recently of Worthington, Ohio died Aug. 30, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born icon Oct. 1, 1912, in Sylvernia, Miss. to W.D. and Octavia Drummond. Letty was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of Vancleave United Me-thodist Church. Letty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bennie Bonham; grandson, Steven Griffith; brothers, Orbie, Bart and Erbie and sister Irene.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherry (Jim) Griffith; granddaughter, Gail Griffith; grandson, Tom Griffith; and her beloved nieces, nephews and their families.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Vancleave United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Maugh officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow at Vancleave cemetery.
Friends who wish may contribute in Letty's memory to Vancleave United Methodist Church.

BRENNER
Mrs. Sharon "Shea" Brenner, 43, of Pascagoula, Miss., died at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula.
A native of Mobile, Ala., she was marketing director for Colonial Printing Co., and she also served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
She is survived by her husband, James F. Brenner of Pascagoula; her father, Lloyd Holloman of Mobile; three sons, Ryan Cunningham of Lakeland, Fla., Evan Holloman of New Orleans, La., and Luke Brenner of Ocean Springs, Miss.; one daughter, Leigh Moore of Ocean Springs; and two sisters, Donna Martin of Semmes, Ala. and Susie Cumbie of Wilmer, Ala.
Services will be Tuesday, March 21, 2006, from the chapel of Gilmer Funeral Service in Mobile, Ala.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Tuesday.
Interment will follow in Wilmer cemetery.

TRAUX
Capt. Norman W. "Red" Truax, longtime Biloxi boat captain, died Saturday, March 18, 2006. He was 83.
born in Westville, Ill., "Red," as he was usually known, began working in the coal mines at the age of 13, after his mother's death. He joined the Marines in 1940, and was in the Guadalcanal campaign, where he was wounded and sent home to train recruits as a drill sergeant in San Diego. After a further service injury, he was medically discharged in 1945.
He worked as a truck driver, a machinist and telephone lineman before fulfilling a longtime dream by moving to Biloxi and buying a charter boat from Capt. H.L. "Mac" McQueen, who was building a new boat. This boat was sunk in Camille and Red bought another boat in Florida, a 40-foot tournament sport fisherman named the Big Red. A member of the Charter Boat Association, between the two boats he took people fishing out of the Biloxi Small Craft Harbor for some 20 years. He specialized in King Mackerel, although his customers also caught every kind of Gulf fish. His wife, Jane, was also a licensed captain and taught at Vancleave and Biloxi High Schools and at the Jefferson Davis Jr. College.
In the winter months from 1965 to 1974 Red, who held a 100-ton passenger license, worked crew boats and supply boats to the oil rigs in Louisiana and Texas for Offshore Logistics. He also fished his own boat out of Port Salerno, Fla., for one winter. He was preparing to move his business to Florida when he suffered a severe heart attack in 1985, retired, and moved to Florida. The Truaxes moved back to the Coast in 2004, settling in Vancleave.
"Red" is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jane; his son Sherman Truax of St. Louis; daughters, Shela Cygnor of Virginia, and Edith Drongesen of Arkansas; five grandchildren, Nessa Cygnor, Echo Miller, David Drongesen, Stephen Drongesen and John Drongesen; nine great-grandchildren, Brandon Miller and Brittney Moore of Arkansas; Alicia, David, Matthew, Andrew and Mandy Drongesen of Las Vegas; Robert Croisar of Montana and Ray Croisar of Japan; and one great-great-grandson, Jacob Moore of Arkansas.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.

WELLS
Graveside services for the late Elder Debra D. Orr Wells will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Fernland cemetery in Grand Bay, Ala. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on March 20, 2006, at Jackson Funeral Home, 271 North Cody Road, Mobile, Ala. 36608.

HINTON
Dr. Patricia Tindell Hinton, 63, of Gautier, Miss., passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 at her home. Dr. Hinton was born icon Jan. 27, 1943 in Bonifay, Fla. She was a native resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and was a member of University Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Miss. Dr. Hinton earned a bachelor's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi. She practiced in Hattiesburg, Miss., Dothan, Ala., and Mobile, Ala., specializing in child psychology.
She is survived by her husband Dr. Donald E. Hinton of Gautier, Miss., two children, Donald E. Hinton Jr. of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Kimberly Hinton St. Clair of Mobile, Ala.,her parents Samuel and Eunice Tindell of Biloxi, Miss., and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2006 at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Gautier, Miss.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2006 in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the University Baptist Church Building Fund of Hattiesburg, Miss., or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Fund.
Services are under the direction of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Gautier, Miss.

REYNOLDS
Mrs. Edna Margaret "Margie" Frederic Reynolds, 81, a lifelong resident of Pascagoula, Miss., died Friday, March 17, 2006 at her home. She was born icon Feb. 7, 1925. Mrs. Reynolds and her late husband, Mr. W. A. Reynolds, established the W.A. Reynolds Wholesale Company in Moss Point, Miss., in 1967. She was a former member of the Jackson County Fair Board and former manager of the Jackson County Civic Center in Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Hermes Adrian and Mrs. Mary Cecilia Terreson Frederic; her husband, Mr. W.A. "Dubb" Reynolds; an infant son, Kevin Joseph Reynolds; three brothers, Hermes Adrian "Brother" Frederic Jr., Pol Miguel Frederic, Robert Q. Frederic and two sisters, Mary Emily Clark and Cecilia Luverne Howard.
Mrs. Reynolds is survived by five sons and daughters, Sandra Kay and Ken Morgan of Pascagoula, William M. and Mary Jo Reynolds of Gautier, Marc Frederic and Kathy Reynolds of Pascagoula, Kathy C. and Chris Mincey of Gautier and Jon Kevin and Erika Reynolds of Pascagoula; 12 grandchildren, Amanda Kay "Mandie" Lucas, Tyler Jay Morgan, Kimberly Anne Hayden, Marcia Leigh Lang, Laura Melissa Reynolds, Kevin Marc Reynolds, Bette Jean Doggett, Brad Doggett, Brian Doggett, Corley Jon Reynolds, Frederic William Reynolds and Jon Erich Reynolds; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters- in-law, Mrs. Marguerite Frederic and Mrs. Virginia Hill, both of Pascagoula and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., today, March 19, 2006 at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2006 from the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula.

DOUGLAS
Evelyn Gertrude Douglas, 84, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Pascagoula. Mrs. Douglas was born icon Oct. 12, 1921, in Detroit, Mich. She was retired from Pinecrest Nursing Home. She enjoyed reading and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley C. Douglas; her parents, Harry and Gertrude Brown; and brothers, Earl Brow and Richard Brow.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Lois J. Meador (Jerry) of Pascagoula, Miss.; her brother, Harry Brow (Sally) of Marquuette, Mich.; five grandchildren, Debra S. Slayton of Pascagoula, Miss., Claude A. Coleman II (Beth) of Gautier, Miss., Kevin D. Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla., Nora Meador of Lucedale, Miss., and Paul Meador (Mex) of Hattiesburg, Miss.; seven great grandchildren, Darrel Coleman (Beth) of Pascagoula, Miss., Cacey Coleman of Gautier, Ashley Slayton of Pascagoula, Miss., Logan Coleman of Jacksonville, Fla., Michael Coleman of Gautier, Miss., Charlotte Nash of Mobile, Ala.; one great-great granddaughter, Abbygail Coleman of Pascagoula, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, Idee Bracken and New Beginnings Personal Care Home.
A private service will be held March 18, 2006, with Pastor Tracey Martin officiating.

EDDINGFIELD
Larry "Tiny" Eddingfield, age 57, of Gautier, Miss., died on Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Ocean Springs Hospital. He was born icon on March 7, 1949, in Kirksville, Mo., and has been a resident of Jackson County, Miss. for 36 years.
Mr. Eddingfield was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was currently employed with Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding for over 36 years in the Test and Trials Department. He was a life member of American Legion Post 160 in Pascagoula, Elks Lodge # 2501 in Ocean Springs, and V.F.W. in Pascagoula.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Joan Eddingfield; parents, Anna Egbert Parrish and Merideth "Cap" Parrish; three sons and one daughter, John "Buddy" Shields (Darci), Judy Watkins (Tony), Jimmy Shields, and Jay Eddingfield; grandchildren, Melissa, Ian, and Ivey Shields, Maria, Amber, and Jacqueline Wat-kins, Brittney and Alec Eddingfield; brother, Jeffery Parrish (Kim).
Visitation will be Sunday, March 19, 2006, 10 a.m. until noon and 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Gautier, Miss.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NASCAR Victory Junction Gang, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, N.C. 27317 (www.victoryjunction.org), Century Elks Lodge # 2501 in Ocean Springs, or American Legion Post 160 in Pascagoula.

GAGLIANO
Betty Bufkin Gagliano passed away peacefully at her daughter's home at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2006 in Metairie, La. at the age of 71. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in late September 2005. She was born icon in Gulfport, Miss., on Nov. 1, 1933. Due to her illness she had to retire from St. Benilde After School Program where she was also a parishioner. She was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family, cooking, caring for others and keeping abreast of current news and events. She also cherished her friends dearly.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Julia Friedman Bufkin; her brothers, Willie Bufkin Jr., Gerald Bufkin and her sister, Emily Bufkin. She is survived by two sons, Charles Joseph Gagliano Jr. (Lisa) of Hattiesburg, Miss., Gary Michael Gagliano of Hattiesburg, Miss., previously of Pascagoula, Miss., and one daughter, Julie Gagliano Mabry of Metairie, La., five grandchildren, Kelly Stigler, Vincent Gagliano, Matthew Stigler, Courtney Gagliano, Nicholas Gagliano and one great-grandchild, Cayden Munster. She is also survived by one brother John R. Bufkin and two sisters, Mary Verdon and Carol Fromenthal as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a 12:30 p.m., Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at St. Benilde Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, La.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2006 at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd., Metairie, La., and also at 9 a.m. until service at St. Benilde Church on Tuesday, March 21, 2006.
Interment in Garden of Memories cemetery.

GILDERSLEEVE
Pamela R. Hoye-Gildersleeve, 36, born icon July 22, 1969, in Pascagoula, Miss. A graduate of Pascagoula High School in 1988. She attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College-Perkinston Campus from 1988-1990. She was employed at Sonic Drive-In in Pascagoula.
She departed this life Tuesday, March 14, 2006, at her home. She was a member of Union Baptist Church of Pascagoula.
She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Kimble, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ira G. Hoye and four aunts.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory parents, G.H. and Jimmye Nell Hoye; a loving son, Gilbert Allen Gildersleeve, III; a beautiful daughter, Brienna Nicole Hoye; four sisters, Annette (Ricky) Patterson, of Phoenix City, Ala., Angela (Charles) Williams of Texas City, Texas, Irish Scott of Orlando, Fla., Kimberly (Sterrick) Bell of Texas City and Tracee Hoye of Pascagoula; two brothers, George Hoye of Jackson, Miss., Michael Hoye of Pascagoula. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Best friends are Tonya (Anthony) Mitchell, Barbara Triplett, and Anthony Preyear.
Viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until noon on Saturday, March 18, 2006, at Union Baptist Church, Dupont Street, Pascagoula.
Funeral Services will begin promptly at noon at the church.
Interment will be in Gabriel cemetery, Pascagoula.
All Arrangements by Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point.
