MCILRATH
Robert R 'Mac' McIlrath, 65, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away at his home on March 2, 2006, surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of John and Anita (Aber) McIlrath of Pennsylvania. He was born icon on Oct. 19, 1940, in Pittsburgh, Penn. and moved to Pascagoula in 1958. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Pascagoula.
He is preceded in death by his sister and brother in law, Hannah and Edmund Miller; his granddaughter Olivia McIlrath; and his parents John and Anita McIlrath.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Sherrie Gandy McIlrath; his six children Scott (Vicky) McIlrath, Shannon (Laurie) McIlrath, Michael McIlrath, Lisa (Joey) McMurray, Shawn (Desiree) McIlrath, and Lori (Weber) Parker; nine grandchildren Amanda (Gene) Kirkland, Whitney (Jason) Willis, Donovan McMurray, Josh McIlrath, Tyler McIlrath, Britini McIlrath, Chandler, McMurray, Stefan McIlrath, and Ryan McIlrath; his brothers and sisters Mary (Harold) Cato of Bradenton, Fla., Betty (Paul) Tietz of Simpsonville, S.C., Grace Eiler of Pittsburgh, Penn. Johnny (Lavorn) McIlrath of Norfolk, Va. And Jay (Mary) McIlrath of Stockton, Ca.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Robert dedicated his life to public service. After 24 years he retired from the Pascagoula Police Department as Deputy Chief of Police. He also retired from the Pascagoula School District after 17 years as Director of Security. Two of his highest honors were graduating from the FBI National Academy and the U.S. Secret Service Academy. He will be remembered for his fifteen years of contributions to the Dixie Youth Baseball League serving from coach to past president.
Visitation will be Monday morning, March 6, 2006, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss. A prayer service will be held at noon in the chapel followed by a graveside service at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa, Miss. with full police honors. Dr Rex Yancey and Rev. Dennis Ray Smith will officiate the services.
Pallbearers will be his sons and sons-in-law Scott McIlrath, Shannon McIlrath, Michael McIlrath, Shawn McIlrath, Joey McMurray, and Weber Parker. Pascagoula Police Department will serve as Honor Guard for Mr. McIlrath.
Heritage Funeral Home in charge of arrangements locally owned and operated.

CLARK
REBECCA ELAINE HOLDER CLARK, 55, of Hurley, Miss., died Feb. 28, 2006. Heritage Funeral Home, Escatawpa, Miss.

CUNNINGHAM
Beatrice Louise Cunningham, 78, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Feb. 26, 2006 in Mobile, Ala.
She was born icon March 17, 1927 in Ponchatoula, La. to the late Ellmon and Beulah Miller. She along with her husband, the late Earl Cunningham Jr. moved to this area and made it their home for 58 years. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Mrs. Cunningham had a great love for children and formerly worked at the Calvary Baptist Church daycare bringing smiles to many small faces. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
She is survived by three children, David Cunningham and his wife Marjorie of Pascagoula, Ernest Cunningham and spouse Curtis Ebert of Denver, Colo., and Gay Cunningham of Pascagoula; siblings, Rita Loftus of Pascagoula and Huey Miller and his wife Sandy of North Carolina; one grandchild, Jennifer Cunningham; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. Johnny Lawrence officiating.
Glenn Rivers, James Miller, Huey Miller, Glenn Loftus, Antron Hollings, Curt Raybon will serve as pallbearers and Roger Goodin, Julian Richard, Bud O'Brien, Jesse May as honorary pallbearers.
Interment will conclude at Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
Services are under the direction of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Pascagoula, Miss.

FAIRLEY
Mrs. Anniece (Jill) Tanner Fairley, age 82, of Gautier, Miss., passed away Monday, Feb. 27, 2006. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gautier, MS and was a lifelong resident of Jackson County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Floyd Fairley, Jr.; parents, Hobson and Elsie Tanner; sister, Mayford Rush; and brothers, Harell Tanner and Johnny Tanner.
She is survived by daughters, Lynda (Eddie) Smith of Hurley, Miss. and Jeanie (Robbie) Maxwell of Pascagoula, Miss.; grandchildren, Scott (Christy) Smith of Mobile, Ala., Jennifer (Joey) DeVries of Pensacola, Fla., and Amy (Randall) Cobb of Hurley; great-grandchildren, Fairley Smith, Brandon DeVries, Lawren Cobb and Emily Jean Cobb; sisters, Mildred Tanner and Loretta (Nolen) Merritt; lifetime best friend, Helen P. Fairley; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Gautier, with Rev. David Aultman officiating.
Interment will be at Crestlawn cemetery in Ocean Springs, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Smith, Robbie Maxwell, Scott Smith, Joey DeVries, Randall Cobb and Nolen Merritt. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. W. D. Fairley and Walker Foster, Sr.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Terry Millette, Dr. Robert Donald III, Wayne and Rita Myrick and staff and Quality Hospice for their loving care.

LOWERY
Doris P. Lowery, 81, of E.V. Lowery Rd., Lucedale, Miss., died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 at her home.
born in Lucedale, Miss., she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and the late Ethel (Barton) Taylor.
She was a homemaker and mother. Mrs. Lowery was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn (George) King of Prattville, Ala., LaDonnis (Virgil) Kimble of Lucedale, Susan Lowery of Lucedale; and five sons, E. V. Lowery Jr. of Lucedale, Larry (Jeanie) Lowery of Lucedale, Glenn (Jan) Lowery of Lucedale, Don (Carla) Lowery of Lucedale, Karl (Diane) Lowery of Lucedale; four brothers, Clyde Taylor of Lucedale, Ed (Melvina) Taylor of Lucedale, Willie (Patsy) Taylor of Lucedale, Virgil Taylor of Lucedale.
Friends may call Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 6 to 10 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church in Agricola, Miss.
Interment will be Wednesday in New Hope Baptist Church cemetery.

WILLIAMS
Mr. Joseph L. "Joe" Williams, Sr., 72, died Monday, Feb. 27, 2006 at his home in Escatawpa. He was born icon Aug. 22, 1933 in Jackson County. Mr. Williams was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War with one year spent at Fort McClellan in Anniston, Ala. He was a retired outside machinist from Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. Mr. Williams was a member of the Moss Point Lodge No. 202 F&AM, the Singing River Chapter No. 155 of the Grand York, and Four Mile Creek Baptist Church in Escatawpa. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Lyman W. "Lundy" Williams and Mrs. Blanche Emma Mae Lemaitre Williams.
Mr. Williams is survived by his wife, Mrs. Frances Williams of Escatawpa; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joey Williams and Gary and Donna Bosarge, all of Escatawpa; a sister, Marlene Hutcherson of Hurley; lifelong devoted friend, Alice Fay Johnson of Gautier; five grandchildren, Jody and Sherrill Williams, Brandon and Paula Williams, Jonathan Williams, Justin Williams, and Hayley and Jeremy Walker; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews,
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 1, 2006 from 6 until 9 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 10 a.m. from Griffin cemetery in Moss Point with Rev. Gene Emswiler officiating. Full Masonic rites will be given at graveside.

Mr. Robert Earl Fountain, 40, of Hattiesburg, Miss., died Feb. 26, 2006. Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

BOWERS
Harriet W. Fell Blanton Bowers left this earth for heaven on Feb. 24, 2006, after a long battle with cancer. Harriett was a member of the Mount Vernon Salvation Army and had been employed as the night charge nurse at the Laurels of Mount Vernon. She is survived by her husband, Cyris "D" Bowers and her children, Elva B. Savage, Lemah Patrick Fell Jr., George E. Fell and Mark A. Fell. In addition, she has left 11 grandchildren, Michael P. Buehl, Jon Savage, Melinda Savage, Michael Lee Wallace, Amanda Wallace, Kaitlin Fell, Kathryn Fell, Olivia Fell, Emily Morris, Jonathan Becton and Taylor Fell. She has one surviving brother, Ed Wilson, and one surviving sister, Sarah Bricker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Smokey and Jane Wilson; two brothers, Chuck Wilson and Ham Wilson; and a sister, Carrie Jane Marshall; husband, Lemah Patrick Fell Sr.; and husband, Don Blanton. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at 5 p.m. at The Salvation Army, 206 E. Ohio Ave., in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Where the family will receive friends one hour before the service. The service is open to all who knew her and would like to attend. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Cards maybe sent to the family at P.O. Box 551, Sidney, Ohio 45365. MANSFIELD
Willard Lamar "Bill" Mansfield, 73, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away, Feb. 26, 2006, in Pascagoula. He was a lifetime resident of Pascagoula being born icon there on Dec. 17, 1932. Bill was of the Catholic faith and served in the United States Army. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Anne Krebs Mansfield of Pascagoula; two sons, Paul Douglas Mansfield and his wife, Cheryl, of Ocean Springs and Walter Preston Mansfield and his wife, Debbie, of Pascagoula; a daughter, Marjorie Mansfield Cunningham, and her husband, David, of Pascagoula; two grandchildren, Jennifer Dyan Cunningham and Douglas Lamar Mansfield.
Private graveside services will be held.

MCMILLEN
Mr. Stephen A. McMillen, 77, of Biloxi, Miss., died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006 in Biloxi. He was born icon March 13, 1928 in Evanston, Ill. Mr. McMillen was retired from the Engineering Department of Ingalls Shipbuilding in Pascagoula. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Clifford and Mrs. Sena Potter McMillen, his wife, Elizabeth Ann McMillan, and a sister, Jean Elizabeth McMillen.
He is survived by his cousins, Joan Potter of Wilton, Conn., Bob and Kathleen Potter of Minneapolis, Minn., and close friends, Kathryn and Joe Webb of Pascagoula.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Dr. Rex. Yancey and Rev. Dennis Ray Smith officiating. Interment will be in Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Joe Webb, Wayne Wilkinson, John McDonald, Don Daughdrill, Jonathon Daughdrill and Butch Arnold.

MOORE
Regina "Gina" Baker Moore, age 45, of Vancleave, Miss., died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, in Vancleave.
She was a lifelong resident of the Coast, and graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1978. She was an accomplished horsewoman with involvement in numerous organizations, including the American Quarter Horse Association, Miss. Reining Horse Association, and the Dixie National Horse Show for the past 20 years. Her accomplishments include several awards in different riding disciplines, most recently for her Reining Horse Competition. Mrs. Moore was also the Director of Administration for CARES of Mississippi, Inc. for the past eight years. "Gina" was a devoted mother to her son Colby and the best wife, companion, and friend anyone could have. She will be sadly missed.
Preceding her in death was her mother, Kay Baker, her Aunt Lois, and her "Granny."
She is survived by her husband, P.J. "Joe" Moore, Jr., and son, Colby Joseph Fulton, both of Vancleave; stepchildren Hope Moore Mosley, Kameren Moore and P.J. Moore III; brother, Byron "Deedy" Baker of Ocean Springs; nieces and nephews, Amy Weaver, and Brandon and Brooke Baker, and a great-niece, Ella Weaver.
A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. until service time.
