McMURRAY
David Benjamin McMurray. Ben was born icon in San Antonio, Texas, on Dec. 21, 1987, to David McMurray and Cynthia Baine McMurray. Ben first attended Discovery School and from Montessori to his junior year in Upper School he attended Saint Mary's Hall. He received several academic and sports awards. On July 21, 2004, he proudly achieved Eagle Scout Rank with the Boy Scouts of America. He was a member of the Spanish Club, worked with Theater Tech and volunteered at the Humane Society. He loved soccer, scuba diving, golf, travel and hunting. He was a good friend to all.
He journeyed to heaven with his father on Nov. 14, 2004.
He is survived by his grandparents, Louis and Barbara Banahan Baine of Jackson, Miss.; his mother; a sister, Sarah Elliott McMurray; a brother, Bradford Clark McMurray; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Reverend Clark and Elsie Jane McMurray.
His loved ones are very precious to Him and He does not lightly let them die.

A memorial service will be held at University United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, with a reception to follow in the Wesley Room.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ben McMurray Scholarship Fund at Saint Marys Hall, 9401 Starcrest, San Antonio, Texas 78217.
Arrangements are by Porter Loring Funeral Home, San Antonio, Texas.

PARSONS
Mrs. Luisa Parsons, 80, of Perkinston, Miss., died Nov. 12, 2004, at Stone County Hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandson, David Crabtree; brother, Carlos Hernandez; and sister, Margarita Lockwood.
Survivors include her sons, Theodore G. Parsons of Wiggins, Miss., Eugene Parsons of Wiggins, Glen Veil and wife, Barbara, of Lucedale, Miss.; daughter, Margarita A. Parsons of Wiggins; brother, Angel Millan of San Diego, Calif.; grandchildren, Lisa M. Veil and husband, Wayne, of Nashville, Tenn., Leighanne M. Veil Foster and husband, John, of Reilinger, Germany, Brian Eubanks and wife, Pam, of Pascagoula, Miss., Lance Eubanks and wife, Amy, of Pascagoula, Travis Parsons, Theodore G. Parsons III, Jonathan Scott Parsons, Carla Parsons, Maria Parsons and Jessie Parsons; and nine great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Moore Funeral Home in Wiggins.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Moore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery in Wiggins.
Arrangements are by Moore Funeral Home, Wiggins.

TINDLE
Theda Boutwell Tindle passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, La., at the age of 72. She was a native of Stonewall, Miss., and a resident of Denham Springs, La.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Tindle; mother, Mary House; father, Lamar House; a sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Floyd Golden; a brother, Joe Boutwell; and a stepsister, Theresa.
She is survived by her son, Randy Tindle; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Betty Boutwell, Bobby and Pat Boutwell, all of Pascagoula, Miss.; four stepsisters, Ann, Billie, Delores and Jean, all of Meridian, Miss.; two grandchildren, Madison and Alexander Tindle; special friends, Velda and John Pebworth; and special neighbor, Dawn Phillipe.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Orange Grove cemetery, Moss Point, Miss.
Services performed under the direction of Seale Funeral Services Inc., Denham Springs, La.

WHATLEY
RETHEL ROGERS WHATLEY, 78, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Nov. 17, 2004. Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, Miss.

LOYER
Mr. Alfred A. Loyer, age 83, of Gulfport, Miss., died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss. Mr. Loyer was a resident of the community for 18 years. He was a teacher in public and Christian schools, a World War II veteran with honorable service, the youngest wartime Chief Warrant Officer, and a missionary in Puerto Rico for six years. Mr. Loyer was an active lay minister involved in children's homes, jail ministry, and military servicemen's center, the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission, and Mexican Medical Missions. He was also involved in Bible distributions as well as daily ministering to residents of the Armed Forces Retirement Home. He was recently re-elected as the fifth-floor representative there. Mr. Loyer was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Anne McBride Loyer.
He is survived by three daughters, Janice Barnes of Brandon, Fla., Sharon Davis Phillips of Winter Haven, Fla., and Cindy Haas of Seffner, Fla.; four sisters, Nellie Loyer, Ruth DeLaPena, Shirley Garza, and Ida Uribe, all of Laredo, Texas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, there will be an 8:30 a.m. church service at Grace Independent Baptist Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will be in Biloxi National cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations be made to Grace Independent Baptist Church for purchasing Bibles or to further the work at Grace Armed Forces Center, 3707 Bienville Blvd., Ocean Springs, Miss., 39564.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

MARBLE
Charles Kye Marble, 54 died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, in Harleston, Miss. Mr. Marble was born icon on March 2, 1952, in Pascagoula, Miss. He had worked as a pipe welder earlier in his life and was a member of Magnolia Springs Assembly of God Church in Hurley, Miss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vira Marble.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Marble; three sons, Kye, Kalab and David Marble all of Harleston; one granddaughter, Eden Marble of Moss Point, Miss.; and a half-brother, Louis Clay of Pascagoula.
Gravesite services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Rosedale United Methodist Church cemetery in Harleston, with Rev. Jerry Goff and Rev. Bobby Lewis officiating.

MASON
Lyman P. Mason "L.P.", age 70, died on Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, following a courageous battle with cancer.
L.P. was born icon July 11, 1934, in Lucedale, Miss., and a lifelong resident of George County until relocating to the Escatawpa area in 2004. He worked for more than 30 years as a mechanical designer up until his retirement. L.P. was a veteran who served his country during the Korean and Vietnam war. He was also an active member of Ridglea Heights Baptist Church of Moss Point, Miss. L. P. was a true man of God who had a deep love and devotion for his family and church.
L.P. is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara White Mason; five daughters, Kay (Robert) Simmons of Jacksonville, Fla., Sylvia (Doug) Cecil of Pensacola, Fla., Vicki (Clay) Smith of Pensacola, Fla., Nikki (Ron) Brun of Moss Point, Kim (Shannon) Harvey of Moss Point; two sons, Stephen (Deborah) Mason of Eagle River, Alaska, and Richard (Christine) Kozik of Fairhope, Ala.; one brother, Marion (Eloise) Mason of Jackson, Ala. He is further survived by 10 granddaughters, eight grandsons, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Evelyn "Holliman" Mason, and brother, Sonny Mason.
Services for Lyman P. Mason will be held at Ridglea Heights Baptist Church on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, with Bro. Steve Cirlot officiating the service. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and the funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will be immediately following at Magnolia cemetery in Lucedale, Miss. Pallbearers will be Michael Stogner, David Cirlot, Chris Stewart, Joey Yount, Steve Edwards and Sonny Webb. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men's Adult Sunday School Class of Ridglea Heights Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Ridglea Heights Baptist Church's "Building Fund" at 12601 Hwy. 613, Moss Point, Miss. 39562.
Sigler Funeral Home of Lucedale, Miss., will be in charge of the arrangements.

NEWMAN
Mrs. Louie Mae "Frances" Newman, 77, of Moss Point, Miss., died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Moss Point. She was born icon June 13, 1927, in Birmingham, Ala.
Mrs. Newman was a longtime member of Caswell Springs United Methodist Church in Wade. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. John Davis and Mrs. Almeda Davis Poe; her husbands, Mr. Virgil Blunt and Mr. A.J. Newman; a son, Steve Bunt; grandson, Sonny Romero; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Ethel Davis, and E.B. "Dood" and Wilma Davis, mother-in-law, Mildred Newman, and a daughter-in-law, Benita Newman.
Mrs. Newman is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Betty Bunt of Lake Jackson, Texas, and Virgil and Carolyn Bunt of White Oak, Texas; three daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Mizell, Charlotte and Gene Kirkland, and Phyllis and Tommy McCormack, all of Moss Point; two stepsons, Andrew Newman of Pascagoula, and Owen Newman of Wade; two stepdaughters, Sandra Eisler of Moss Point, and Angela Foster of Pascagoula; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mildred and Hilburn Boutwell of Moss Point, Mary Lou Sanders of Moss Point, Emily Ann and Ed Edmonds of Atlanta, Ga.; 23 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Caswell Springs United Methodist Church in Wade. Funeral services will follow at noon from the church with Rev. Jim Fisher and Rev. M.L. McCormick officiating.
Interment will follow in Caswell Springs U.M.C. cemetery in Wade.
Pallbearers will be Mrs. Newman's grandsons, Vince Kirkland, Tommy McCormack, Tony McCormack, Jason Bunt, Matthew Bunt, and Mark Bunt.

SHOWAH
Mrs. Nina "Inez" Green Showah, 84, of Pascagoula, peacefully departed this life on her 84th birthday, Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born icon Nov. 13, 1920, in McCool, Miss. and had been a resident of Pascagoula for 60 years.
Mrs. Showah was a retired cosmetologist. She owned her own salon for more than 40 years, where she formed many lifelong friendships.
Mrs. Showah was raised in the Methodist faith and at the age of 75, was baptized at Eastlawn Baptist Church in Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Mr. Millard and Mrs. Nina Rhine Green; her husband, Mr. Charlie A. Showah; a son, Willy C. Showah, Sr.; and a sister, Janelle G. Venutti.
She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Roger Pack of Atlanta, Ga.; son, Richard P. Showah of Pascagoula; five grandchildren, Willy C., Jr. and Beth Showah, Deedy S. Diamond, Roger D. Pack Jr., Charles A. Showah and Callie R. Showah; five great-grandchildren, Nicholas S. Veara, Stephanie V. and Alan Williams, Joseph A. Veara, Willy C. Showah III, and Alexander Showah; two great-grandchildren, Alyssa Lea Williams and Hayden A. Williams; one brother, Lemartis Green of Long Island, N.Y.; one sister, Loree Hubbard of Tenn.; a devoted daughter-in-law, Revalyn B. Showah; and a devoted sister-in-law, Vic Price, both of Pascagoula.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point.
Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Eldridge officiating.
Interment will follow in Serene Memorial Gardens, Escatawpa, Miss.

GREEN
Lloyd Anthony Green, 39, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, in Gautier, Miss. Mr. Green was a lifelong resident of Jackson County, Miss. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gautier.
Mr. Green was a 1983 graduate of Pascagoula High School and attended Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jackson County Campus.
He was a carpenter and a mechanic. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He is survived by his parents, William and Norvis Green; one sister, Judy Yorko and husband, John, of Daphne, Ala; three brothers, Dennis Green and wife, Connie, of Gautier, David Green and wife, Teri, of Taiwan, and Dwight Green and wife, Brenda, of Ocean Springs, Miss.; and his wife, Fran Green.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at First Baptist Church of Gautier.
Graveside service will follow in Pinecrest cemetery, Gautier, Miss.
