WEBB
Mrs. Genevieve Anthony Webb of Moss Point, Miss., 90, passed away on Dec. 7, 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Frank George and Cora Viola George (nee Tanner) of Pascagoula; a brother, Calvin Richard George Sr. of Pascagoula; her husband of 43 years, Leo Lazro Webb Sr. of Moss Point; and an infant son.
Genevieve Anthony Webb (nee George), born icon Nov. 26, 1914, had recently celebrated her 90th birthday with family members. She was a lifelong resident of Pascagoula and Moss Point and, having reared seven children, her family and her church were the center of her life. Her love for the Lord was evident in all that she did and she was a constant source of encouragement and positive influence to her family and friends. She was a member of the Kreole Methodist Church for many years before becoming a member of the Eastside Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Webb is survived by four daughters, Shelvin Elaine Westfaul and husband, J.D., of Moss Point, Jean Marie Hinton and husband, Winford, of Wilmer, Ala., Joan Ann Simpson and husband, B.L., of Ocean Springs, and Melva Lezette Emerson and husband, Charles, of Ocean Springs; three sons, Leo Lazro Webb Jr. of Hurley, Merrell Alvin Webb Sr. and wife, Tommie, of Pascagoula, and Gwain Allen Webb and wife, Iva Jo, of Hurley; 24 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren; brother, J.B. George Sr. and wife, Norma; sister-in-law, Josephine George; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home at 4007 Main St., Moss Point. The funeral service will follow visitation at the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Wendell Stork and Allan R. Roberts officiating with musicians David Westfaul and Dolores Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Leo Webb IV, Al Webb Jr., Terry Richmond, Anthony (Bud) Webb, Bennie Simpson, Scooter Yates, Scott Holmes and Scott MacLean.
Honorary pallbearers are Jay Westfaul, Gary Webb, Stephen Yates, Chuck Emerson, J. B. George Jr., Calvin George Jr., Eric George and Ryan Roberts.
Interment will be in the Machpelah cemetery in Pascagoula.
Arrangements are by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

PARTRIDGE
Edwin "Jim" Partridge Jr., LT COL, USAF Ret., 81, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, in Pascagoula. He was born icon July 5, 1923, in Philadelphia, Miss., and has been a resident of Pascagoula since 1966. Mr. Partridge retired from the U.S. Air Force on Oct. 15, 1966, as lieutenant colonel and served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. After retiring, he was the owner of General Aviation in Pascagoula for more than 25 years and was an FAA Examiner Pilot.
He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Clifton Partridge Sr.; sister, Mondaine Burke; and brother, John Partridge.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Marie Reese Partridge, Pascagoula; mother, Mattie Lee Partridge, Philadelphia, Miss.; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Curtin (Mike), Gulfport; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edwin Clifton Partridge III (Sherrie), Murray, Utah, Reese James Partridge (Louise), Jackson, Miss.; two brothers, Jack Partridge, Jackson, Miss., Sam Partridge, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two grandchildren, Jackie Noffke (Jacob), Huntsville, Ala., Christopher Partridge (Danielle Carroll) Auburn, Ala.; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Partridge, Auburn, Ala.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Storie officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Graveside service will follow with full military honors at 1 p.m., at Biloxi National cemetery, Biloxi, Miss.

STRINGFELLOW
MR. WILLIE C. STRINGFELLOW, 78, of Lucedale, Miss., died Dec. 4, 2004. George County Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

CAPDEPON
Betty Jean Capdepon, 73, of Pascagoula, died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, in Biloxi, Miss. She was born icon Dec. 13, 1930, in Bay St. Louis, Miss., and has been a resident of Pascagoula since 1967.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula. Mrs. Capdepon was a former volunteer for Candy Stripers and Gray Ladies of the Red Cross.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Ramon and Elizabeth Fuente; sister, Elizabeth Jeanette Cole.
Her survivors include her husband of 49 years, Ronald (Cap) Capdepon, Pascagoula; two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Kaye Sheldon (Ronnie), Pascagoula; Paula Jean Davis (Ronnie), Gautier; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen Garrard Capdepon (Deborah), Pascagoula; one sister, Helen Joyce Burst, Atlanta, Ga.; and three grandchildren, Nicholas Stephen Capdepon, Andrew Christopher Sheldon and Seth Tyler Sheldon.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula with rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula with Father Michael Kelleher officiating.
Interment will be at Machpelah cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Cote, Henry Cote, Andy Cote, Phil Cote, Keith Capdepon and Paul Capdepon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 4803 Harrison Circle, Gulfport, Miss., 39507.

BARDWELL
Van H. Bardwell, 68, was born icon Nov. 15, 1936, in Fernwood, Miss. He departed this life Dec. 3, 2004, and entered eternal life after a courageous battle with cancer. His parents, H.T. and Mildred Bardwell, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Juanita Bardwell; five wonderful children: sons, Van Bardwell Jr., David Bardwell (Laura), Bruce Bardwell (Amanda); daughter, Renita Menzies (Rob), Mildred Johnson (Steve); 15 grandchildren, Israel Denham, Nathan Denham, Chad Moorman, Monica Bardwell, Heather Bardwell, Benjamin Bardwell, Sarah Johnson, Alicia Johnson, Taylor Busch, James Menzies, Vance Bardwell, Courtney Bardwell, Kelsey Bardwell, Jarrett Bardwell and Madelyn Grace Bardwell; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Denham; one brother, James Aubrey Bardwell (Dot); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; two wonderful sisters-in-law; and a loving aunt, Lorraine Boyd Gray, and his special buddy "Silver."
Mr. Bardwell started his own businesses when he was discharged from the Navy in 1957, B B Wholesale, Singing River Cabinets Inc. and Bardwell Apartments. He was of the Baptist faith and will be remembered by his customers and friends as a very honest businessman.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Pascagoula, Miss.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Reed, pastor of Lighthouse Baptist Church, officiating the service.
Pallbearers will be Van Bardwell Jr., Chad Moorman, Rob Menzies, Wesley Wilson, Billy D. Bardwell and Steve Johnson.
Entombment will follow with military honors at Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula, Miss.

FELKEY
Mrs. Aline B. Felkey, age 78, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, in a local care center. born icon March 7, 1926, in Sellers, Miss., to the late Seamon and Ardie Shaw Moran, she had been a resident of Pascagoula since 1994. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church of Gulfport.
Among her survivors are a daughter, Linda Sharlow, and her husband, Terry, of Pascagoula; a sister, Marie Moran of Pascagoula; two granddaughters, Rhonda Rasco of Pascagoula, Renee Keebler and her husband, Stan, of Pascagoula; and three great-grandchildren, Daniel Rasco, Brittany Rasco and Jacob Quigley, all of Pascagoula.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Ruby Bond.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004, in the Chapel of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., also on Saturday.

WHATLEY
Rethel Rogers Whatley, 78, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, in Moss Point, Miss. She was born icon July 5, 1926, in Escatawpa, Miss.
Mrs. Whatley was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Pascagoula, a retired school teacher with the Pascagoula School District, and the owner of The Kiddie Korner in Pascagoula.
Survivors include her husband, John Whatley of Pascagoula; daughter, Rethel Lynn Rogers of Egypt; son, Ralph V. (Freba) Sherrell of Grand Junction, Colo.; brother, Rudolf Rogers of Woodville, Texas; granddaughter, Kala Sherrell of Grand Junction, Colo.; four stepchildren; and many other close nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004, at Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 2004, at the Chapel of Jackson County Funeral Services in Escatawpa, Miss., with Elders Albert Goss, Barbara and Glen Barlow officiating.
Burial will be in the Community of Christ Church cemetery in Escatawpa.
Pallbearers will be from Community of Christ Church of Escatawpa.
Arrangements by Jackson County Funeral Services, Escatawpa, Miss. Locally owned and operated.

ALEXANDER
Tammy L. Alexander, 31, of Pascagoula, Miss., died Nov. 16, 2004, in Pascagoula. She was born icon Aug. 16, 1973, in Tahlequah, Okla. She was employed as a pipefitter with Ingalls Shipbuilding and was of Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her father and mother, Gary and Gloria Alexander of Pascagoula; favorite aunt, Betty Horsley of Pascagoula; Uncle Devon and Lucille Miller of Mobile, Ala.; Uncle Lindsey Miller of Benndale; Uncle James V. Miller of Grand Bay, Ala.; Aunt Mary Lois (Miller) Curtis Bright of Northport, Ala.; Uncle Jerry and Joyce Alexander of Moss Point; Uncle Miles Kimsey of Vancleave; Uncle Raymond and Gloria Kimsey of Moss Point, Uncle Craig Kimsey of Moss Point; Uncle Bryan Kimsey of Florida; numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Derrick Killingsworth officiating.
Interment will be at Serene Memorial Gardens in Escatawpa.
Pallbearers will be Stacy Bennett, Jeremy Blard, Ben Charlton, David Skellton, Terry Skellton and Pete Lee.
Arrangements are by Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

McMURRAY
David Clark McMurray. born icon Nov. 9, 1951 in Danville, Ky., he spent most of his childhood in Pascagoula, Miss. He graduated from Pascagoula High School and attended Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss. He attended the University of Mississippi Medical School in Jackson, Miss., and graduated in 1977, receiving a Book Award for scholastic excellence.
He completed the Radiology Residency Program at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, in 1981 and moved to San Antonio to become a partner with South Texas Radiology. For almost 28 years, he was married icon to Cynthia McMurray and together they had three children.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his daughter, Sarah Elliott McMurray; and his son, Bradford Clark McMurray. He is also survived by a brother, Dr. John McMurray of Kingsport, Tenn.; and two sisters, Janet Patterson of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Susan Fleming of Chico, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Clark Walter McMurray and Elsie Jane Rigsby McMurray.
David journeyed to heaven with his youngest son, Ben, on Nov. 14, 2004.
He was a member of University United Methodist Church. He was board certified by the American Board of Radiology and professionally associated with the Texas Medical Association and the Bexar County Medical Society, and a member in the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He was also a member of Oak Hills Country Club and Club Giraud.
David loved the outdoors, being an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a great supporter of the arts and numerous community charities. His greatest love was for his family.

A memorial service will be held at University United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, with a reception to follow in the Wesley Room.
