She was a member of Liberty Temple Church of God were she served as First Lady, Sunday School Teacher, and Praise Leader.
She is survived by a devoted caring husband of 28 years, Elder Joe N. Crear; two sons, Joe (Monica) Crear, Jeremy Crear, both of Gautier, Miss.; one daughter, Joy Crear of Pascagoula, Miss.; eight brothers, Tony (Ruth) Webster, Alvin Webster, Alonzo Webster, Gregory (Wanda) Webster, all of Moss Point, Miss., Jimmy (Deidre) Webster, Daniel (Pamelia) Webster, Joshua (Lydia) Webster, all of Mobile, Ala., Bruce (Sharon) Abrams of Sweet Water, Ala.; 11 sisters, Beverly (Eric) Brown of Moss Point, Debbie (Derrick) McMillian, Gwendolyn (Raymond) Molden, Priscillia Westry, Racheal Webster, Angelia Abrams, Pamelia Abrams, all of Mobile, Ala., Mary (Randy) McCall of Phoenix, Ariz., Joanna (Emmit) Edwards of Washington D.C., Monica Montgomery of Mobile, Ala.; a loving stepmother, Doris J. Webster; a good neighbor, Sentha Magee; a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2006, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pascagoula Church of God on Chico St. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., also from the church with Bishop Clifton Jones officiating.
Interment will be held at Scranton cemetery, Pascagoula, Miss.
Arrangements by Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

HOUSKA
Mr. Douglas Ray "Hous-kat" Houska, age 41, of Gautier, Miss. died April 1, 2006, at his residence. He was born icon Feb. 26, 1965, in Grand Junction, Colo.
Survivors include his mother, Deloris Myrick of Gautier; father, Curtis R. Houska of Belville, Neb.; sister, Julia (David) Lessard of Niceville, Fla.; twin brother, Ronald Houska and brother, Scott Houska, both of Gautier; brother, John (Kelli) Myrick of Ocean Springs, Miss.; nieces and nephews, Aaron Overdear, Amy Houska, Paige Myrick, Megan Myrick and Skylar Myrick.
Visitation was Tuesday, April 4, 2006, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Holder-Wells Funeral Home in Moss Point, Miss. Private burial services will be held at a later date.

JONES
Mr. Roosevelt Jones, 62, of Moss Point, Miss., died Saturday, April 1, 2006, in Mobile, Ala.

LEWIS
Laura Jean Lewis, 70, of Lucedale, Miss., died March 30, 2006.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2006, from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the Lucedale Church of God in Christ, Lucedale, Miss.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 2006, at 3 p.m. at the Lucedale Church of God in Christ in Lucedale, Miss.
Burial will be at Sandy Branch cemetery, Vernal Community.

PARNELL
Juston Melvin Parnell, age 80, of Deer Run Areas Road, Lucedale, Miss., born icon Oct. 25, 1925, in George County, Miss., died April 3, 2006, in Ocean Springs Hospital. Mr. Parnell was a member of Full Gospel Church. He was a WWII Veteran of the US Navy and served aboard USS Franklin. He worked at numerous pogy plants and boatyards in Jackson County. He was a commercial fisherman upon retirement and was with Security at Best Glove Factory.

SANDERS
Ruby Annette Wilson Sanders, 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, after a long battle of complications from an extended illness. A funeral service was held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2006, at Trinity United Methodist Church with burial following at Magnolia Park cemetery. Visitation was Saturday, March 25, 2006, from 6 until 8 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Cherished Children, in care of Mrs. Jean Coleman, 129 South Houston Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.

ALLEN
Denson "D J" Allen, Sr., 62, died April 4, 2006, in George County, Miss. Mr. Allen was born icon Oct. 29, 1943, in Moss Point. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, a 32nd degree mason with East Central Lodge #631 and Scottish Rite of Gulfport, Miss. Mr. Allen was also retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding as an Electrical Foreman, after 39 years of service. He was an avid hunter and camper.
He was preceded in death by his children, Joe Allen, Kathy Allen Davis; his parents, Norman and Mary Allen; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Jill Allen; a son, D J Allen Jr., both of George County; grandchildren, Amanda (Chris) Smith of Ocean Springs, Sara Allen of Ocean Springs, Shanda (Donnie) Dickson of Moss Point, Josh Allen of Hurley; great grandchildren, Max Smith of Ocean Springs, Jaydon Dickson of Moss Point; sister, Charlotte Stiles of Ocean Springs; brothers, Gene Allen of Gautier, Norman Allen of Ocean Springs; also survived by many nieces, nephews and his church family.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5, 2006, from 6 until 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 6, 2006, beginning at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gill White officiating. Burial will follow in Salem-Carter cemetery in George County.
Heritage Funeral Home in Escatawpa, Miss. in charge of arrangements. Locally owned and operated.

BYRD
Laura Lee Byrd, age 44, died Monday, April 3, 2006, at her home in Thompson Station. Mrs. Olander was a member of the Peoples Church where she was also a sales clerk and an artist. She was also a member of the Tennessee Art League and the Tennessee Watercolor Society.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joe Byrd.
Survivors include her husband, Charlie Olander of Thompson Station, Tenn.; sons, Christopher and Andrew Olander of Thompson Station, Tenn.; mother, Lafay Morse Byrd of Pascagoula, Miss.; brother, Wayne Bryd of Pascagoula; sister, Diane Byrd Terry of Shawnee, Kan.; six nieces and nine nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2006, at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Rick White officiating.
Burial will follow at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday at The Peoples Church and one hour prior to service Thursday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Tennessee Art League, 808 Broadway, Nashville, Tenn. 37203.

COOK
Mr. James D. Cook, 87, of Philadelphia, Miss., died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Miss. Mr. Cook was a retired timber buyer. He was a native of the East Nashoba Community and a longtime resident of the Bloomo Community of Neshoba County. He was a member of Mt. Nelson Baptist Church and Coffadeliah Mason Lodge #371. Mr. Cook was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Ruth Cook in 2002; a son, Billy Charles Cook in 2000; and a brother, Hester Cook.
Survivors include two sons, James W. "Pete" Cook and his wife, Jo, of Gautier, Miss., Glyn Cook and his wife, Linda of Philadelphia, Miss.; four grandchildren, Angela Lee Faircloth of Daphne, Ala., James Stacey Cook of Vancleave, Miss., Brock Cook of Philadelphia and Brent Cook of Philadelphia; six great grandchildren, Tabitha Taylor, Christopher Esher, Travis Cook, Blake Cook, Hannah Cook and Bailey Cook; one sister, Katheryn O'Diam of Las Vegas, Nev.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 5, 2006, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home in Philadelphia, Miss.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 6, 2006, at McClain-Hays Chapel in Philadelphia.
Burial will be in Cooks Chapel cemetery, Philadelphia, Miss. with Rev. Mack Alford and Rev. Jackie Barker.

MASON
Betty A. Tompkins Mason, 40, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at her home.
Betty was born icon Dec. 8, 1965, in Pascagoula. She worked at Jerry Lee's Grocery for the past eight years in the deli before losing the battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Marcus D. Mason Jr.; two sons, Donnie Tompkins Sr. and Douglas Mason; two daughters, Heather Tompkins and Kristen Mason; mother-in- law, Janet (Lamar) Estis; mother and stepfather, Linda and Ollie LaFontaine; father and stepmother, Ervin and Barbara Tompkins; three brothers, James, Jeffery, and Wayne Tompkins; a sister, Vicki (Kenny) Franklin; one grandchild, Donnie Tompkins Jr.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2006, from the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service. Bro. Jerry Jacobson will officiate the service.
Pallbearers will be Ollie LaFontaine, James Tompkins, Jeffery McQueen, Mark Lee, Jeremy Lee and John McAnally.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Church on the Rock, Jerry Lee's Wal-Mart, NGDMS and the Hospice of Light.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the "Betty Tompkins Family Medical Fund" at any Hancock Bank branch.
Services are under the direction of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home Pascagoula, Miss.

SANDERS
Ruby Annette Sanders, 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, after a long battle with complications from an extended illness. Mrs. Sanders was born icon on May 10, 1930, in Memphis, Tenn., and was raised on a farm with her nine siblings just north of Pascagoula, Miss. She graduated from Moss Point High School and attended a college in Jackson, Miss. She then worked at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss., for several years. Following this, she attended Springhill College and Providence School of Nursing in Mobile, Ala. Upon completion, she became a First Lieutenant in the United States Air Force as a flight nurse. She met her husband at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., where they were married icon in 1966. They were then stationed at Clark Air Base in the Philippines where Mark was born. Upon their return to the United States, they relocated to Warner Robins in 1969. Kelly was born icon here in 1971. Annette worked briefly as a nurse on Robins Air Force Base.
The next five years she attended and graduated from Macon Junior College, Wesleyan College and the Medical College of Georgia earning AS, BA, BSN and MSN degrees. She worked for 15 years at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in nursing and management, retiring in 1995. Her life was devoted to her children, grandchildren, husband, profession and Trinity United Methodist Church Hope Sunday School Class. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her loving spirit and life.
Survivors include her husband, Ned M. Sanders, Warner Robins; son, Commander Mark E. Sanders, United States Navy, Norfolk, Va.; daughter, Kelly J. Sanders Wayland and son-in-law, Dr. David Wayland, Canton, Ga.; two grandchildren, Jackson and Lindsay Annette Wayland; sister, Alice Greenleaf, Gulfport, Miss.; brothers, Emerson Wilson, Brandon, Miss., and Bill Wilson, Moss Point, Miss.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

WILLIAMS
Pearl Williams, 86, of Leakesville, Miss., died April 2, 2006.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, 2006, from 10 until 11 a.m. at the Mason Chapel Baptist Church, Leakesville, Miss.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 7, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the Mason Chapel Baptist Church in Leakesville.
Interment will be at Mason Chapel cemetery, Leakesville, Miss.
