Gilbert W. "Rooster" Douell, 76, of Big Point, Miss., died Feb. 18, 2008, in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Douell was born
in New Albany, Miss., on Dec. 31, 1931. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army.
HENSHAW
Clarence Henshaw was born
April 10, 1922, in Fontainebleau, Miss., to the late Henry Andrew and Cleo Williams Henshaw. He joined in marriage to the late Lessie Frazier Henshaw in 1953. They had 51 wonderful years together. He joined Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age and was very active in church. He strongly believed and kept his faith in God until the end. He attended Elizabeth H. Keys Colored School. Fishing was his main hobby.

Mr. Lorenzo James Nettles, 29, of Moss Point, Miss., departed this life Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008. He was born

Mrs. Kattye Belle Sellers, 83, of Moss Point, Miss., passed on to eternal life on Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Singing River Hospital.

John Herbert "Walley" was born

to proud parents, the late Lev and Jennie Walley. He departed this life Friday, Feb. 15, 2008.
HYDE
Mr. Donald P. Hyde, 71, of Moss Point, Miss., was born
Oct. 16, 1936, to the late Charlie and Viola Hyde. He passed on to eternal life on Feb. 18, 2008, at Singing River Rehabilitation Center in Pascagoula, Miss. Mr. Hyde was a graduate of the Magnolia High School Class of 1955, Magnolia Monarch and he went on to continue his education at Stillman College.

Judith Ann Schulze Schwegman passed away Feb. 17, 2008, in West Plains, Mo. She was born
in St. Louis, Mo. She attended Mac Murray College and Missouri University, where she was a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and met her husband of 46 years, JoDon Schwegman.

Mrs. Carmen Irene Tysinger, 69, of Gautier, Miss., died Sunday in a local hospital. born
March 24, 1938, in Mobile, Ala., to Russell W. and Alice Jane Walker DeWitt, she was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. A homemaker, she was a member of Orange Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, bowling and spending time with her family.

Jimmie Lou Clark King, 76, passed from this life the morning of Feb.17, 2008, at Singing River Hospital. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many, she was born
in Escatawpa, Miss., on Feb. 12, 1932.
MOORE
Mr. Paul Joseph Moore Sr., 85, of Moss Point, Miss., passed away Feb. 14, 2008, in Pascagoula, Miss. A very loving, caring and supportive husband, daddy, grandfather and great grandfather, he was a devoted member of the Escatawpa Baptist Church and citizen of Es-catawpa/Moss Point. He lived his life to the fullest with Jesus Christ as his soul provider of guidance to pass on to his family. He was an inspiration to his family and will continue to be, as well as to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed but always loved. He was born
Feb. 16, 1923, in Itta Bena, Miss. Mr. Moore was a member and deacon of the Escatawpa Baptist Church for 47 years. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding after over 40 years service. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Moore was active in area youth programs and was a baseball coach for 45 years. He retired from Moss Point Auxiliary Police after serving 20 years.
NELSON
Prentiss Nelson, 94, died peacefully at his home Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. He was born
July 28, 1913, to the late Edward and Amelia Nelson in Escatawpa, Miss., and lived there his entire life. He was the oldest living member of Escatawpa Baptist Church. He was a 1934 graduate of Moss Point High School, where he lettered in four sports. He retired from International Paper Co. in 1975 after 40 years of service.

Rolf Juhl, 88, of Georgetown, Texas, died at his home on Jan. 26, 2008. Rolf was born
on Nov. 8, 1919, in Puerto Rico.

Shirley Cowles Powell, 70, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008. She was born
Dec. 20, 1937, in Pascagoula and has been a life long resident of this area. She was an Honor Graduate of 1956 from Moss Point High School. Mrs. Shirley was a former employee of International Paper, Ingalls Shipbuilding, and SUPSHIP in Pascagoula. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula.

Ms. Patricia Ann Brown, 42, of Pascagoula, Miss., was born
Jan. 21, 1965. She passed on to eternal life on Feb. 10, 2008, in Moss Point, Miss.
HENSON
Brenda Kay Henson, age 62, of Dumas, Ark., passionately devoted, loving, faithful, protective and courageous wife of Wanda Faye Reeves Henson, went to be with her awaiting family on the other side, at 11:47 p.m. Feb. 8, 2008. She died peacefully at home in the grateful arms of her wife and surrounded by family and longtime friends.

June 1, 1930, in Webster County, Miss. She was a homemaker and member of Escatawpa Baptist Church.

James E. "John" Warren took his last step from earth to Glory on Feb. 13, 2008, at the age of 63. He was born
March 23, 1944, in Pulaski, Miss. Mr. Warren worked as an electrician at Ingalls Shipbuilding. He was a proud member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Pascagoula, Miss.

Mrs. Frankie Miller Harvey, 70, of Escatawpa, Miss., formerly of Sumrall, Miss., died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at Wesley Medical Center. She was a homemaker and member of Hickory Grove Methodist Church in Sumrall, Miss.

Mrs. Louise Martinez, age 77, of Ocean Springs, Miss., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, in Ocean Springs.

Mr. David L. Sanders, age 75, of Pascagoula, Miss., passed away Feb. 11, 2008, in Pascagoula. He was born
May 11, 1932, in Attala County, Miss. He retired from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and was a member of Masonic Lodge 419 of Pascagoula.

Homer Ray "Rip" Smith, 59, of Louisville, Ky., passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008. "Rip" was a custom furniture upholsterer in Houston, Texas, and in Louisville at St. Matthews Trim and Upholstery.

Mrs. Eleanor Florence Cassata Stewart, 84, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, in Ocean Springs, Miss. Mrs. Stewart was born
Feb. 12, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y. In November 1942, Eleanor married
Elroy "Tom" Sawyer. Following World War II, they settled in Mobile, Ala. In 1972, Mrs. Stewart moved to Ocean Springs and worked at Ingalls Ship Building where she met and married
Lonnie Stewart Sr. in 1975. Upon her retirement from Ingalls in 1982, Mrs. Stewart worked for the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and was actively involved in community activities. She was a member of the Ocean Springs Hospital Auxiliary where she volunteered in the Gift Shop; was active in community theatre performing with KNS and Biloxi Little Theatre; she was a member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Italian-American Club; and along with her husband, Lonnie, delivered meals for The Lord is My Help.

Dewey Gale Bass, 62, of Gautier, Miss., passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2008. He was born
May 11, 1945, in Wayne County, Ill., to the late Dewey M. and Mary E. (Fansler) Bass. He was a resident of Gautier for 26 years, working as Human Re-sources Manager at Dyna-chem Corporation, Halter Marine, and Omega Protein in Moss Point, Miss. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
