Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 22, 2006, in the chapel of Wright's Funeral Home in Quitman, Miss., at 2 p.m. with Rev. Lannis May officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2006, from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home.

Mr. Herman Andrews, 61, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, July 18, 2006. He was born icon Sept. 8,1944 to the union of Liston H. and Artensie Ladd Andrews in Moss Point, Miss., where he had been a lifelong resident. Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

SMITH
NEWTON P. SMITH, 50, of Lucedale, Miss., died July 18, 2006. Sigler Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

CARTER
Vicki Harrell-Carter of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Pascagoula, Miss. went to be with her Lord on July 15, 2006 in Tucson. She was born icon May 4, 1921 to Merdick and Emma Burr in Liberty, Miss.

CROUCH
Brenda Sue Crouch, passed away on July 19, 2006 at Biloxi Regional Hospital. She was born icon Feb. 11, 1941 in Missouri. She was a gift to all that knew her and will be missed greatly.

DELMAS
Mrs. Virginia "Scottie" Land Delmas, age 72, of Pascagoula, Miss. died Wednesday evening, July 19, 2006 in a local hospital. born icon Feb. 26, 1934 in Greenville, Miss. to the late Roy and Hazel Scott Land, she had been a resident of Pascagoula since 1956. Scottie as she was known to all of her friends was a graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, Miss. class of 1952, and Mississippi College in Clinton class of 1956. She worked as a public school teacher in Pascagoula from 1956 until the mid 1970's. She left the public school system to teach at Our Lady of Victories Catholic School and was named Director of Religious Education in 1980, a position she held until her retirement in 1995. Scottie married icon the love of her life and devoted companion Ronald "Ronnie" Delmas on Aug. 18, 1957.

KEMPNER
Georgiann (Teer) Kempner, 65, of Wichita, Kan., died July 18, 2006. She was a homemaker and a volunteer for the American Red Cross. Her father, William Teer, preceded her in death.

PARSON
Annie "Flower Lady" Parson was born icon June 3, 1933 to Eddie Lee and Christine Cook Parson. She was a lifelong resident of Pascagoula, Miss. Ms. Parson passed away July 14, 2006 at Singing River Hospital. She was a member of Union Baptist Church in Pascagoula since early childhood. She worked at City Lumber for a number of years and later went on to retire from Hampton Inn of Moss Point, Miss. Because of her love and passion for flowers, she planted flowers at Comfort Inn of Moss Point until her health began to fail. Ms. Parson loved kids. She supplied toys in her yard for the neighborhood children who often visited her. To some she was known as Mama, Grandma, Granny, and Mama Ann. To Jackson County she was known as "The Flower Lady!" Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

SIRAGUSA
Shirley Isabel Siragusa, 83, of Gautier, Miss., died Tuesday, July 18, 2006. She was born icon June 24, 1923 in Haverhill, Mass.

BUSH
Danny Alan Bush, 58, of Pascagoula, Miss. passed away July 16, 2006 in Pascagoula. He was born icon March 28, 1948. Danny was a shrimper all his life.

BYRD
Mr. Frank Jefferson Byrd, Jr., age 70, died July 16, 2006 in Mobile, Ala. A resident of Grand Bay, Ala., he was born icon Nov. 15, 1935 in Jackson County, Miss. Mr. Byrd was a member of Kreole United Methodist Church. He retired from Ingalls Shipbuilding's hull department after 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank J. Sr. and Culma Lee Byrd, sisters, Mary Carew and Frances Byrd; brother and sister-in-law, George and Virginia Byrd.

HOLLAND
Dorothy Ann Holland (Cruse), 70, of Vancleave died Sunday, July 16, 2006 in Ocean Springs.

LINDLEY
Joseph Lindley, age 72, of Moss Point, Miss. passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006 at his home while surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Lindley was born icon in West Helena, Ark. on Jan. 9, 1934. He was an extremely talented carpenter.

MARTIN-WALWORTH
Martha Elizabeth Martin (Walworth) died peacefully following a lengthy illness at Mercy Medical Hospice on July 16, 2006. She was 82 years of age. She was born icon in Ellisville, Miss. to Daniel Franklin Knight and Mittie Summons Knight on February 4, 1924.

YATES
Roy Eugene Yates, 59, of Ocean Springs died Saturday, July 15, 2006 after a long illness.

BLACKWELL
Jeremiah Onwar Blackwell, 23, of Gautier, Miss., died Saturday, July 15, 2006. Arrangements are incomplete at O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula.

JOHNSON
Mr. Buster A. Johnson, 72, of Moss Point passed away Friday, Oct. 27, 2006. Arrangements are incomplete at Millender's Funeral Home in Moss Point.

BRANNAN
MRS. RAE BELLE WELFORD BRANNAN, 95, of Leakesville, Miss., died Oct. 26, 2006. Freeman Funeral Home, Leakesville, Miss.

JOHNSTON
Bruce Everette Johnston, 26, of Long Beach, Miss., pass-ed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006, in Biloxi, Miss.

MR. HENRY ALTON MINNER, 67, of Lucedale, Miss., died Oct. 25, 2006. George County Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

ATCHLEY
Norma A. Atchley, 83, (Grandma to everyone who knew her) went to meet her Redeemer on Oct. 22, 2006, in Birmingham, Ala. She was born icon Jan. 1, 1923, to the late Henry and Madeline Clair in Washington, D.C., but for over 35 years made her home in Pascagoula.

FAULKS
Mrs. Levert Jones Faulks, 60, of Moss Point, Miss., was born icon Feb. 15, 1946 in Mobile, Ala. She passed on to eternal life on Oct. 20, 2006, in Ocean Spring, Miss.

BOARDMAN
Martha Robeson Boardman, 71, formerly a resident of Pascagoula, Miss., suffered an aneurysm at her home in Shepherdstown, W.Va., and died on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006.

ENGLISH
Sandra (Sandy Gill) English, 65, of Big Point, Miss., died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2006, in Pascagoula, Miss. She was born icon July 22, 1941, in Magee, Miss.

HAYNES
Vivian McCorvey Haynes departed from this life to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 20, 2006. She was born icon June 3, 1963, in Pascagoula, Miss., to Jessie Byrd McCorvey and Cora Perryman McCorvey. Vivian accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior under the ministry of Pastor Charles A. McKinney at Jesus Christ Baptist Church.

MCDONALD
Mr. Willie (W. E.) McDonald, 87, of Moss Point, Miss., died Oct. 23, 2006.

FORSYTH
DEBORAH L. FORSYTH, 46, of Biloxi, Miss., died Oct. 22, 2006. Coastal Funeral Home and Cremations, Moss Point, Miss.

COOK
Rev. Emile (Sonny) Cook, Sr., 68, of Pascagoula, Miss., exchanged time for eternity on Oct. 19, 2006, at Singing River Hospital, and is now residing in his new heavenly home. He was born icon on March 14, 1938, to the late Marie Louise Cook Wynder and the late Stanley Rivers Sr. Rev. Cook was a lifelong resident of Pascagoula. He was a member of Asbury Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church where he was once a Trustee, Chairman of the Trustee Board, and Leader of Leaders. He attended St. Peter Apostolic Catholic School, Carver High School, Jackson State University, and served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Ingalls Shipbuilding, International Paper Co., and First Baptist Church of Pascagoula. Rev. Cook was also Executive Director of the Jackson-George County Association for Sickle Cell Disease Inc. and attended Lomax Hannon until he became ill and could not serve the church he was appointed. He was involved in social and community organizations over the years, past and present such as President of Our Daily Bread, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Commander of the Pascagoula American Legion Post 243, Pride of Pascagoula Lodge #485, and city of Pascagoula Planning Board Member. He loved spending time with his family.

MCDONALD
WILLIE E. MCDONALD, 87, of Moss Point, Miss., died Oct. 23, 2006. Robinson's Friendly Funeral Home, Moss Point.
