Ms. Sandra A. Douglas, 51, of Pascagoula, Miss. was born icon Aug. 1, 1954 in Moss Point, Miss. Ms. Douglas passed on to eternal life on Thursday, July 27, 2006 in Pascagoula, Miss. Arrangements are incomplete at Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point.

MEADOWS
Mr. James E. Meadows, of Grand Bay, Ala., passed away on July 30, 2006. He was born icon on May 14, 1929 in Stone County, Miss. Mr. Meadows was a devoted member of More Life United Pentecostal Church of Grand Bay. He was also proud to have been a Mason with the Moss Point Lodge 202 for many years. He enjoyed spending most of his time surrounded by his family and attending his church.

Cunningham
Destiny Faith Cunningham, Infant daughter of William and Casandra Cunningham of Biloxi, Miss., passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2006.

HESTER
Carolyn Tidwell Poole Henderson Hester, was born icon in Seymour, Texas, on Aug. 27, 1947. As part of a military family, she traveled around the world, including France and Alaska. She graduated from high school in 1966 at Aber-deen, Md. She attended college in Maryland and in Mississippi where she earned a nursing degree. Later, she attended the University of Texas in Austin, earning a Bachelor of Social Work degree. Holder-wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

WHITE
Agnes Marie White, 69, of 127 White Road, Lucedale, Miss., died Wednesday April 11, 2007 in the Providence Hospital, Mobile, Ala.

TODD
Rev. Joseph Todd, born icon Oct. 11, 1948, went home to be with his Lord Wednesday, July 26, 2006, while at home with his loving wife, Frances, by his side.

HALE
James Charles Hall/Hale was born icon March 19, 1941, in Mobile, Ala. He committed his life to Christ and was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church of Beatrice at an early age. Charles graduated from the former Montgomery County Training School presently J. F. Shields High School in Beatrice, Ala., in 1960. After graduation from high school Charles moved to Los Angeles, Calif., and married icon Lillian Watts Hale. To this union two children were born. He was self employed, owner and CEO of Hale's Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by his father, James Paul Hale. Much of his young life was spent with his grandparents in Beatrice, Ala., Rev. Elijah and Sarah Millender who were deceased in 1966 and 1985 respectively.

HERRINGTON
Mr. Herrington leaves this world with a good memory and just wants to remind you of some of the many highlights of his life. A native of Neshoba County, Miss., Paul started his career many years ago in the service of his country with the U.S. Air force. After his tour of duty, he moved on to Sears Roebuck and Co. where he plied his trade as a jeweler for several years.

MARTIN
Mrs. Sonya L. Nicholson Martin was born icon July 15, 1969, in Pascagoula, Miss. On July 25, 2006, in Hattiesburg, Miss., the lord called her home. Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

SMITH
DEBBIE ANN BRODY SMITH, 50, of Gulfport, Miss., died July 20, 2006. Marshall Funeral Home, Biloxi, Miss.

MCNEESE
Larry Wayne McNeese, 34, of Lake Charles, La., died on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, in Pascagoula, Miss.

WELLS
Mr. Leon Elvis Wells III was born icon July 16, 1976, to Leon E. Wells Jr. and Sharon DeVille Wells. He has been a life long resident of Jackson County. Arrangements incomplete at Millender's Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

COPELAND
Jannie Lee Jones Copeland was born icon on April 12, 1945, to the late Walter Jones and Essie Mapp Jones in Newton County. She attended school in Hickory, Miss., then later moved to Gulfport, Miss., in 1961 with her family. Jannie graduated from North Gulfport High School in 1965 and united with Mount Olive Baptist Church under the direction of the pastor, the late Rev. R. D. Barnes, where she served as a faithful usher. She later changed her membership to support her daughter, Tracy, and son-in-law, Pastor Lee R. Bruner at Living Waters Ministry of Biloxi, Miss. There she served as a faithful president of the usher board until her health began to fail. Jannie was employed at Sears Department Store for many years. She was previously employed at South Mississippi Regional Retardation Center until her health would not allow her to work. She was united in Holy Matrimony in 1993 to Mr. Charles Copeland Sr. Jannie Copeland passed away at the age of 61 on July 21, 2006, in Gulfport.

GREEN
Mr. Thomas Austin "Tommy" Green Sr., 68, of Grand Bay, Ala., died Monday, July 24, 2006, in Moss Point. He was born icon June 23, 1938, in Jackson County, Miss. Mr. Green retired after 40 years of service as a general mechanic with International Paper Company in Moss Point. Before his job at the mill, he worked several years on his boat fishing and shrimping. He was a member of Grand Bay Church of God in Grand Bay, Ala. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his father and mother, Mr. Charles A. and Mrs. Ella Elsie Pierce Green, a brother, R. J. Green, a sister, Sarah Cronier and three grandchildren, Joey Wayne Green, Jerron Curtis Green and Kimberly Coe. Holder-Wells Funeral Home, Moss Point, Miss.

BOX
MRS. MILDRED H. BOX, 80, of Lucedale, Miss., died July 25, 2006. George County Funeral Home, Lucedale, Miss.

TAYLOR
Barbara Jean Taylor, 66, of Ocean Springs, Miss. passed away on July 25, 2006.

VERMILLION
Douglas Paul Vermillion, 49, of Vancleave passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2006, in Birmingham, Ala., after a 10 year battle with liver disease. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. He was born icon on Aug. 29, 1956, in Okinawa, Japan. As a child his father was in the Air Force and their family lived in several places in the United States and abroad. His family retired in Biloxi, when Doug was in high school. He attended St. Martin High School where he was an all-star football player, Class of 1974.

COLEMAN
James David (Crocket) Coleman, 51, of Jackson County passed away July 24, 2006, in Pascagoula, Miss. He was a retired net mender in the seafood industry.

COLLINS
Etta Virginia "Ginger" McMillan Collins, 48, of Pascagoula, Miss. On July 24, 2006, our Lord and Savior called home our beloved Ginger. She was a lifelong member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.

DAILEY
Mr. Glenn A. Dailey was born icon Sept. 4, 1953 in Moss Point to the late parents, Mr. Booker T. Dailey and Irma R. Stanton- Dailey. He entered into eternal rest at this home on Friday, July 21, 2006 at 11:55 p.m.

WILLIAMSON
Mr. John W. Williamson, 64, of Moss Point was born icon May 15, 1942. He passed on to eternal life on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 in Mobile, Ala. Mr. Williamson was a resident of the Jackson County area for over 30 years. He was also an employee of Northrop Grumman as a chipper.

BALL
MR. VERNON M. BALL, 87, of Leakesville, Miss., died July 24, 2006. Freeman Funeral Home, Leakesville, Miss.

MCPHETRIDGE
Mrs. Ruth C. McPhetridge died July 20, 2006, at the age of 83. She has been living with her daughter and family for two years in Pascagoula, Miss.

PETTUS
Mrs. Blanche Rogers Pettus, age 95, a native of Washington, County, Ala., a longtime resident of Mobile, Ala., before moving to Pascagoula, Miss., in 1993 died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at St. Catherine's Village in Madison, Miss. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles R. Pettus, six brothers, Chester, Clinton, Roscoe, Elmer, Zack, David, and two sisters, Ola Leigh and Vera.

FANTROY
Leon Fantroy Sr. passed on to eternal life on July 19, 2006. He was born icon on October 26, 1914 to Wash and Neelie Fantroy in Burnt Corn, Ala.

McClanahan
Gloria McClanahan, 69, passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2006. She was a native of Pascagoula, Miss., and a longtime resident of Grand Bay, Ala. She was a member of R.L.D.S. church in Bayou La Batre for many years.

BLACKWELL
Jeremiah Onwar Blackwell entered into eternal rest on July 15, 2006, in Bronx, N.Y.

FINKLEA
Nora Bell Finklea, 81, departed this life Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at home. born icon June 21, 1925, to the late Allen Fletchman Richardson Sr., and Mattie Hall Richardson in Tunnel Springs, Ala., Mrs. Finklea had been a resident of Moss Point for the past 62 years. She was retired from the Moss Point School District and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Moss Point.

SMITH
STANCE SMITH, JR., 58, of Moss Point, Miss., died July 18, 2006. Lockett-Williams' Mortuary, Inc., Gulfport, Miss.

BRAY
Thayas Ray Bray, 69, of Wade, Miss., passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2006, in Mobile, Ala. He was born icon Feb. 8, 1937, in Houston, Miss.

DAVISON
Mrs. Ardell Davison, 89, of Moss Point, Miss., was born icon March 13, 1918, in Tunnel Springs, Ala., to the late Solomon Nettles and Bell Richardson Nettles. Mrs. Davison passed on the eternal life Tuesday, July 18, 2006, in Kennesaw, Ga.
