Mr. Tracy Edwin Bingham, 54, of Memphis, TN, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010, in Biloxi, MS.
Mr. Bingham was born icon in Westerly, Rhode Island, and he was a veteran of the U. S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Bingham was preceded in death by his parents, Stanton and Georgia Bingham, and a sister, Terry Bingham. He is survived by his daughter, Teresa Bingham; son, Donde Bingham-Slaughter; sisters, Karol (Hearing) Conine, Sharon Hearing and Cynthia Lenihan; brothers, Carlton Bingham, Stanton Bingham, and Peter Bingham; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at Biloxi National cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.

Beatrice Cecile Chapman

Mrs. Beatrice "Gautreaux" Chapman, 66, of Woolmarket, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her father, Paul Gautreaux, and mother, Burcie "Bang" Gautreaux. She is survived by her husband, John Chapman, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, John and Kristy Chapman; three sisters, Francis Gautreaux, Pauline Hutmacher, and Annette Gautreaux; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Kaydan and Hanna.
Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. Funeral services are 10 a. m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Biloxi National cemetery.

Mildred N. Atchison

Mildred N. Atchison, age 90 of Ocean Springs, died Saturday February 4, 2006 in Ocean Springs.
Mrs. Atchison was born icon March 24, 1915 in Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Charles and Susie Miller. Before marrying a Moss Point native, William Atchison, and moving to Mississippi in 1957, she worked at the Washington Naval Yard for 20 years. After moving to Mississippi, she joined St. Paul United Methodist Church and was an active member for over 40 years. She was a volunteer at the Ocean Springs Hospital and the Senior Citizens Center. She not only talked the talk, but she walked the walk. Mrs. Atchison will be greatly missed by all.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Atchison, and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, Charles (Dortha) Durso of Ocean Springs, two daughters, Shirley (Robert) Kapture of Claremont, CA, and Marie (Wes) Elmendorf of Nichols, SC, eleven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 12:45 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2006 at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Porter St. in Ocean Springs. Friends may visit from 12:00 noon until service time. Burial will be at Biloxi National cemetery. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of services.

Howard Davis Alexander

Mr. Howard Davis Alexander, age 74, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Sunday, August 20, 2006, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Alexander was a longtime resident of the community. He served in the US Air Force and was a former member of the V.F.W. # 5699 and the D.A.V. Chapter 17, both in Ocean Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben F. and Ruth Stewart Alexander.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Horne Alexander of Ocean Springs, daughters, Charlotte A. (Gettis) Wingate of Doerun, Georgia, and Renee' A.(Fred) Kuffner of Ocean Springs, a son, George H. Alexander of Ocean Springs, MS., sisters, Norma A. Varnado and Irma Burns, both of Columbia, MS., and Texie Smith of Foxsworth, MS., brothers, Hugh L. Alexander of Kokomo, MS., and Earl Alexander of Corsicana, TX., six grandchildren, Mandy W. (Kevin) Kinsey of Moultrie, GA., Garrett J. (Brooke) Wingate of Doerun, GA., Haley A. (Ben) Fancher of Hattiesburg, MS., Heath Massey of Ocean Springs, MS., Chelsey Alexander of Hattiesburg, MS., and Cody Massey of Ocean Springs, and three great-grandchildren, Beckett Fancher, Wynn Kinsey, and Garron Wingate.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, from 6-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Wednesday, August 23, 2006, there will be a 9:45 AM service in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi National cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Roy Joseph Ainsworth, Sr.
born on August 26, 1948

Mr. Roy Joseph Ainsworth, Sr, 58 years old, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 in Gulfport.
Mr. Ainsworth was a native and lifelong resident of the Mississippi Coast. Roy served in the 1st Battalion 9th Marines in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968. He received the National Defense service Medal, the Vietnam National Service Medal, three Purple Heart Medals, and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Roy attended Biloxi High School and MS Gulf Coast Community college where he received a degree in Respiratory Therapy. Prior to becoming a Respiratory Therapist Roy was an EMT volunteer with the Rescue II Unit and the Vancleave Volunteer Fire Department. He also was a CPR Instructor and was a dedicated Home Room Parent and substitute teacher for Vancleave Elementary School. After working at numerous medical facilities and home health agencies Roy retired from Gulf Coast Medical Center Respiratory Department in 1996. He then became a full time grandfather and devoted most of his time entertaining his granddaughter Ashlyn. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
Mr. Ainsworth was preceded in death by his father, Lowell D. Ainsworth; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy C. Ainsworth and Mr. and Mrs Tom Quave; father-in-law, George "Scrap" W. Mallette; and brother-in-law, George Errol Mallette.
Mr. Ainsworth is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marlene Mallette Ainsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Jenna and Wade Fitts; son, Roy "Joey" Joseph Ainsworth, Jr.; mother, Ruby Quave Ainsworth; brother and sister-in-law, Tommy and Joni Ainsworth; sister, Cathy Ainsworth Powell; granddaughter, Ashlyn Victoria Fletcher; Uncle and Aunt Billy Ray and Dot Quave; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, brothers of the 1st Battalion 9th Marines-The Walking Dead.
Visitation will be Monday, November 20, 2006 from 6:00 til 9:00 pm at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 21 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church at noon where friends may visit one hour prior to service time. Burial to follow in Antioch Baptist Church cemetery.

Barbara “Sue” Amie

Barbara “Sue” Amie, 66, of Biloxi, passed into the arms of the Lord on April 30, 2007 in Biloxi. She was a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 42 years and a member of Bay Vista Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father Ray Day, her father and mother-in-law Joe and Zula Amie and granddaughter Gabrielle Fleming.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 49 years, Charles “Chuck” Joseph Amie; daughters and their husbands: Charlotte and Tony Abbenante of Raleigh, NC; Gena and Mike Carnley of Prattville, AL; Denise and Stan Fleming of Colorado Springs, CO; and Donna and Terry Wilson of Bassfield, MS; mother Exa Day of Amarillo, TX; sisters: Radene West of Amarillo, TX; Marie Wilcox of Eustace, TX; brother Charles Day of Big Sandy, TX; eight grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3rd at 10:30am at Bradford O’Keefe Funeral Home on Pass Road, Biloxi. Service will be at 12:30pm with burial following at the Biloxi National cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Women’s Resource Center
at 9155 Lorraine Rd, Gulfport, MS 39503.

Marilyn Sue Scott Alt

Marilyn Sue Scott Alt, 62, of Ocean Springs, died Wednesday, September 19, 2007 in Gulfport.
Marilyn was a long time resident of the Gulf Coast.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Scott and Betty Brown, a brother, Dennis Scott.
Survivors include her husband, Tom R. Alt of Ocean Springs, sons, Nick Alt of Mandeville, LA and Chris Alt of Richmond, VA, a sister Sharon Zoss of Tampa, FL and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.

Andrew Joseph Abercrombie

Andrew Joseph Abercrombie, 39, of Biloxi died Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Andrew was a native of Mobile, AL and a resident of the Coast for the past two years. He was a self-employed contractor and an avid fisherman. He was a member of the Catholic Faith.
Andrew is survived by his father, Raymond Abercrombie of New Orleans, LA; mother, Elizabeth Abercrombie of Mobile, AL; son, Andrew J. Abercrombie of Mobile, AL; brother, Bradley Abercrombie of Kansas City, KS.
Private Service will be held.

Jan Allan

Janis Ferguson "Jan" Allan, age 89, of Gulfport died Wednesday, December 12, in Gulfport.
She was a native of Dayton, TX and was a longtime resident of Gulfport.
Jan was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mosie Ferguson, her husband, D.W. "Pete" Allan and a sister Lady Nan LaCour.
She is survived by her sister, Leila Frazier of Houston, Texas, her god-children, and many friends who loved her.
Jan graduated from high school in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, and attended college in New Orleans.
She was a longtime member of St. Peter's By-The-Sea Episcopal Church in Gulfport and lived her ministry through her gifts to others.
In lieu of flowers Jan would wish memorials to St. Peter's By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, 1304 E. Pass Rd., Gulfport, Ms 39507.
The funeral sevice will be Thursday, December 20, 2007, at 3:00 p.m.at St. Peter's By-The-Sea Episcopal Church, 15th Street, Gulfport, with interment at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m.-2:45 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home 15th Street in Gulfport.
