Kathryn Emile Anderson, 84, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, May 22, 2010, in Biloxi surrounded by her family.
Mrs. Anderson was born icon in Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident. She was a member of Blessed Seelos Catholic Church and loved gardening, but her greatest love was her family.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Clyde W. Anderson, Sr.; daughters-in-law, Irma Anderson and Diane Anderson; parents, Toby and Marjorie Emile; sister, Gloria Madsen; brothers, William Emile, Sr. and James Emile, Sr. She leaves behind to cherish her memories four sons, Clyde Jr., Keith and his wife, Mary, Kevin and Kendel; daughter, Georgia Clark and her husband, Lionel; eleven grandchildren, Stacy Thompson, Glenn Anderson and his wife, Dawn, Lauren, Leah and Jonathan Anderson, Danielle Anderson, Heather and Dustin Wilbe, Lionel Clark, Jr., Joseph Clark, and Matthew Clark; five great grandchildren, Jason Anderson, Jessica Thompson, Dalton Anderson, Trent Forehand, and Cayden Domangue; two great great grandchildren, Kane Anderson and Kaylee Anderson; and two brothers, George Emile and Toby Emile.
Visitation is 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi. A Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m.Wednesday at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church where friends may visit one hour prior. Interment will follow in Biloxi City cemetery.

Avis Marie Fountain Adolphson

Mrs. Avis Marie Fountain Adolphson, age 83, of Ocean Springs, MS., passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, in Ocean Springs.
Avis was born icon on July 28, 1926, in the St. Martin Community. She loved Mardi Gras, flowers, and her family gatherings. She had an extensive camel collection and was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James M. Adolphson. She was reunited with her parents, James and Edna Fountain, sisters, Vernie Seymour, and husband, Orey, and Edna Mae Davis and husband, Loren, brother, James D. Fountain and wife, Louise, brother-in-law, Albert "Ed" Adolphson and sister-in-law, Edna Mae Adolphson.
Survivors include a daughter, Faye (Ralph E.) Balius Sr. of the St. Martin Community, five grandchildren, Ralph "Eddie" (Donna) Jr., James "Chris" (Robin) A. "Nicky" (Christine), Ramon "Matt" and Anna L., thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be on Friday, February 19, 2010, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., with an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, all at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Biloxi National cemetery.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Lee Arnold
born on February 20, 1922

Mr.Thomas Lee Arnold went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2009.
He was a resident of Ocean Springs, MS for the past 60 years and was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps. He then joined the Army and later retired from the US Air Force. He served during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was employed with Coast Materials and retired from Blossman Ready Mix.
Mr. Arnold is preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Arnold, parents Fernaniel L. and Donnie Kimbell Arnold, brothers, William Arnold, Rube Arnold, Boyd Arnold, Felix Arnold and Rufus Arnold, and sisters, Edna Scribner, Flora Toylor and Dale Willey.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Delanel Coward Arnold of Ocean Springs, two stepsons, David R. (Sharon) Coward, Sr., also of Ocean Springs, and Donald (Shelia) Coward of Hattiesburg, MS, a sister, Mae Hester of Nettleton, MS, five grandchildren, James (Jeanie) Coward, Richmond Coward, Jonathan Coward, Jennifer (Matt) Newport, Tiffany Coward, four great-grandchildren, Daniel, Eli, Presley, and Hayden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 10 AM - 11 AM with an 11 AM Chapel Service all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Biloxi City cemetery.

Charles Samuel Adcock

Charles (Sam) Adcock , age 74 , passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009 at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, TN .
Sam was born icon to Taylor and Rose (Gray) Adcock on Nov. 25 , 1934 . Sam was a crane and heavy equipment operator for most of his life .
Survivors include his children, John S. Adcock of Evansville, IN, Phillip O. Adcock, Evansville, IN, JaneAdcock (Larry) Weyer, and Shelia Ann Adcock (Steve) Plourd of Cocoa, FL.Surviving children are / John S. Adcock (Evansville , IN) (Susan) , Philip O. Adcock (Evansville, IN) , Jane (Adcock) Weyer (Larry) and Sheila Ann (Adcock) Plourd (Steve) (Cocoa , FL).
Sam's surviving siblings are Marilyn (Adcock) Pike (Jerry) (Raleigh , NC) , Gene Adcock (Sheila) (Evansville, IN) , LLoyd Adcock (Betty) (Evansville, IN) and Gilbert Adcock ( Jean) (Patoka , IN) . Also surviving are Eight Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the children request that anyone concerned make a donation to their favorite Cancer Organization or become an Organ Donor.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, 675 Howard Avenue, Biloxi, MS is in charge of arrangements. (228) 374-5650.

Mr. Grover D. "Butch" Atchley, Jr., 65, of Biloxi, MS, died Saturday, June 20, 2009, in Biloxi.
Mr. Atchley was born icon in Quitman, MS to the late Grover D. Atchley, Sr. and Sarah Ivey Atchley on September 21, 1943. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor activities and spending time with his family. Mr. Atchley is survived by his wife, Ruthie Atchley; two daughters, Lisa Atchley-Gollott of Biloxi, and Teresa (Jimmy) Brown of Kathleen, GA; one son, Brian D. Atchley of Biloxi; two sisters, Faye Ferrill and Barbara (Jim) Morrison; grandchildren, Ashleigh (Anthony) Barton, Brandon Atchley, Dustin Atchley, Bailey Dougherty, Lacie Gollott, Madison Brown, Dalton Atchley, Brianna Atchley, and Ellie Atchley; and one great-grandchild, Carter Barton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour before service time. Interment will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.

William Thomas Angle, Sr.

William "Bill" T. Angle, Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, April 22, 2009 after a long illness.
Bill was born icon to Bartow and Emma Angle on September 6, 1928 in Garland, Alabama. Bill retired from the United States Air Force after twenty years of service in 1966, and owned his own paint contracting business for twenty-five years following his retirement from the service.
He was fortunate in life, in that he had so many people who loved him. He taught his children that there is nothing more important than love and laughter. He was always making jokes and loved making people laugh. He never met a stranger, and he and his wife, Jewell, invited everyone into their home for a home cooked meal. Bill loved fishing and was never happier than when he was sitting beside a lake throwing in a line. His children were blessed to have such an extraordinary man as their father, and he will be deeply and sadly missed.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bartow Angle and Emma Angle Cook and his brother, Edwin Angle.
He leaves behind his loving wife of sixty two years, Jewell Smith Angle; his two sons, William "Tom" T. Angle, Jr. (Chris) and Edwin C. Angle; his daughter, Angela A. Murello; his grandchildren, Jacob Angle (Casey), Scott Angle, Heather Angle, Jennifer Green (Danny) and Haleigh McNabb; along with his great-grandchildren, Ashley Angle, Cruz Angle, Sunny Angle, Morgan Angle, Kaylee Angle and Breelie Stalnaker; his sister, Marie Manning; brothers, Jack Angle (Inga), Jerry Angle (LaRue), Lamar Angle (Susan) and Carl Angle (Linda), as well as many nieces, nephews, loving friends, and his beloved dog, Prissy. Special thanks to his granddaughter, Heather Angle, for her loving care of her grandfather.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2009 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, where friends may visit from 10:00 a.m.. Burial to follow at Biloxi National cemetery.

Robert Joseph Askin

Mr. Robert Joseph Askin, 79, surrounded by his family, peacefully passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009, at his home in Biloxi.
Mr. Askin, a lifelong resident of Biloxi, attended Notre Dame School, and in his younger days enjoyed boxing. He became a Biloxi businessman in the 50's. He was a licensed plumbing and general contractor. He owned the first septic tank company in Biloxi. He also had a grocery store and a taxi cab business as well. In the 60's he was in the buy and sell business and wheel camper business. After Hurricane Camile, he started the Biloxi Sanitary Company and retired from it in the 90's. In the later 70's you could always find him sitting on his boat, "The Soda Pop II", in the afternoons at the Broadwater Marina. He would be enjoying the scenery of the Biloxi he loved and visiting with friends. He got the most pleasure out of cooking for his family and friends. He would light up a room with his little jokes and big smile. He never met a stanger. He will be sadly missed and never forgotten by his family and friends.
Mr. Askin was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Askin; sons, Donald and Jimmy Askin; daughter, Paula Harvey; grandson, Robert Askin, III; brothers, John and Louis Askin; and sister, Gloria Perniciaro.
Survivors include his son, Bobby (Mary Gay) Askin of Biloxi; daughters, Toni Parker of Hattiesburg, Jeanie (Larry) Louivere of Buras, LA, and Tracie Quave of Biloxi; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a. m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Park.

Cynthia Marie Galle Anchor
born on October 25, 1956

Mrs. Cynthia Anchor, age 52, of Vancleave, MS., passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, in Ocean Springs.
Survivors include a son, Victor (April) Anchor, granddaughter, Ashley Anchor, two sisters, Billie Sue Lee and Tammy Galle, and four brothers, Johnny Galle, Lex Galle, Frank Galle and Mike Galle.
Visitation will be on Sunday, November 30, 2008, from 2-4 PM at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home

Geraldine "Gerry" Allen

Geraldine "Gerry" Allen, age 80, of Ocean Springs, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2008 in Gulfport.
Geraldine was born icon on December 23, 1927 in Stanley County, North Carolina. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary and Ocean Springs Volunteer Fireman's Auxiliary.
Gerry was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a beautiful person who enjoyed the simple things in life. Her faith made her strong in the struggle with her illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis L. Allen, Sr.; her parents, Milas Fred Austin and Mollie Mae Austin; a brother, Bob Austin and son-in-law, Robert J. Foster, Sr.
Survivors include her children, Curtis L. Allen, Jr. of Ocean Springs, Brenda Foster of Ocean Springs, Mike Allen and his wife Beverly of Union Mills, NC, Margaret Cassidy and her husband Greg of Ocean Springs; nine grandchildren, Robert J. Foster, Jr., Greg Foster, Angela Cumbest, Scott Allen, Shawnette Davidson, Yvette Allen, Aaron Allen, Adam Blanchard and Andy Streitmatter along with twelve great-grandchildren, Austin, Kelsi, Joseph, Jet, Owen, Ethan, Emily, Nathan, Ava, Brielle, Anthony and Mollie.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Ocean Springs. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
