Bo Palmertree
(January 12, 1944 - November 30, 2014)
Funeral services for Bo Palmertree of Poplar Creek will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Old Friendship cemetery at Poplar Creek. Dr. Duran Palmertree will officiate the services.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 2, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Palmertree, 70, died of heart failure at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona on Sunday, November 30. He was born icon on january 12, 1944, to the late J. B. and Elma Gooden Palmertree. He was the widower of the late Bobbie Ruth Dees Palmertree. Mr. Palmertree was a retired employee of J. A. Olson Company in Winona and a member of Bethany Church of God at Poplar Creek.
Mr. Palmertree is survived by two daughters, Dawn Palmertree (Shorty) of French Camp and Amber Palmertree of Poplar Creek; one son, Chris Palmertree (Connie) of Eupora; three sisters, Erna Lee Williams of French Camp, Judy Clark of Poplar Creek, and Geneva Williams of Poplar Creek; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be J. B. Williams, Danny Jefcoat, Shannon Clark, Ted Williams, Curtis Palmertree, and Gary Williams.

Earnestine Wilkinson Smith
(November 19, 1932 - April 24, 2015)
A graveside funeral service for Earnestine Wilkinson Smith of Winona will be held at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, at Oakwood cemetery in Winona. Dr. Tim Mims will officiate the service.
Visitation will be Thursday, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith died of heart failure at her residence on Friday, April 24. She was 82 years old.
Mrs. Smith was born icon in Montgomery County on November 19, 1932. She was a retired registered nurse and a member of First Baptist Church in Winona. She was a U.S. Army veteran, serving as a dental hygienist at West Point Academy during the Korean War. She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Kelly and Mable Wilkinson Marshall; her husband; two sons; and two sisters.
Mrs. Smith is survived by nephews, Glen Braswell of Lake and James Leon Lollar of Wills Point, Texas; and a cousin, Sid Castle (Denise) of Winona.
Memorial contributions may be made to Christ's Cross at the Crossroads or to First Baptist Church in Winona.

Gary Eugene "Tiny" Lott
(April 13, 1932 - January 2, 2016)
Graveside services for Mr. Gary Eugene “Tiny” Lott, of Stewart, will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4 at Sarepta cemetery in Stewart.
Rev. Randy Bridges will officiate the services.
Mr. Lott passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born icon on April 13, 1932 in Webster County to the late Haywood and Carrie Maye Threet Lott. “Tiny “ was a retired factory worker with Screw Conveyor in Winona. He was also a Shriner, a 32nd degree Mason, and a veteran of the US Army.
He loved collecting things and was of Baptist faith.
Although “Tiny” had no children of his own, he served as a father to many siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Mr. Lott is survived by two sisters: Merle Jones (Bobby) of Weir and Maywood Jones of Ft. White, FL; and two brothers: Macky Lott (Cheryl) of Stewart and Benny Earl Lott of Stewart. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and his lifelong friend, Barbara Ann McCullogh.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sarepta cemetery Fund.

Lena Divine Burnham
(July 27, 1936 - May 22, 2016)
A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Lena Divine Burnham of Winona, formerly of Greenville, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27, at Old Plank cemetery near Vaiden, with Rev. Randy Bridges officiating. Visitation will be Friday, May 27, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burnham, 79, died at National Healthcare in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on Sunday, May 22. She was born icon in Jerome, Arkansas, on July 27, 1936, to James Monroe and Vonie Rucker Divine. She was a retired employee of the Social Security Administration and a member of North Winona Baptist Church in Winona. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and four brothers.
Mrs. Burnham is survived by her husband, William Burnham of Winona; two daughters, Janet Burnham and Christy Burnham, both of Murfreesboro, TN; two sons, Glen Burnham of St. Augustine, FL, and Bart Burnham of Murfreesboro, TN; two sisters, Dorothy Rea of Pensacola, FL, and Joyce Divine of Little Rock, AR; one brother, Paul Divine; and several nieces and nephews.

Lawrence K. Johnson
(June 30, 1933 - February 25, 2008)
Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Johnson of Winona will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 28, at First Baptist Church in Winona.
Burial will follow in Oakwood cemetery in Winona. Rev. T. R. Darsey, assisted by Dr. Phillip Dancy, will officiate the services. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 27, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Johnson died of cancer on Monday, February 25, at his sister's residence in Jackson. He was 74.
Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Henry E. and Connie Billingsley Johnson. He was a retired farmer and a member of First Baptist Church in Winona. He was also a member of the Lost Dutchman Mining Association and the Vaiden Hunting Club.
Survivors include his sister, Martha H. Hammond of Jackson, three nieces, and four nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Stafford, Jeff Turnage, William Billingsley, Lee Hammond, Jack Hammond, and Aubrey Boone. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Sunday School class at First Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, P. O. Box 408, Winona, MS 38967.

Robert Crouch
(January 18, 1943 - May 19, 2008)
Funeral arrangements for Mr. Robert Crouch of Winona are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 21, at Oliver Chapel, with burial to follow in New Hope cemetery in Winona. Rev. Terry Edwards, assisted by Rev. Clayton Crouch, will officiate the services. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 20, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Crouch died of heart failure on Monday, May 19, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona. He was 65.
Mr. Crouch was a retired employee of U.S. Corrulite in Winona. He was the son of the late Arthur Otis Crouch and the late Ruby Estelle Carpenter Crouch; and the widower of the late Jerline Crouch. He was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Crouch.
Survivors include two sons, Keith Crouch and Scott Crouch, both of Winona; two brothers, Sonny Crouch of Winona and William Crouch of Stewart; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are James Crouch, Andy Crouch, Wayne Tate, Steve Vance, Wayne Carter, and Robert Collins.

Ann Swearingen
(November 8, 1946 - July 23, 2008)
Funeral services for Ann Swearingen of Kilmichael are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, at Oliver Chapel in Winona, with interment following in French Camp cemetery in French Camp. Rev. Jeff Hill will officiate the services. Visitation will be Friday, July 25, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Swearingen died of heart failure on Wednesday, July 23, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. She was 61 years old.
Mrs. Swearingen was the daughter of the late Arlon Brown Willis and the late Mavis Willis Mims, and the widow of the late Claude Swearingen. She was a homemaker and a member of Cornerstone Faith Fellowship in Winona.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy Peacock of French Camp; one sister, Arlene Mims of Kilmichael; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert DuBard, Greg Smith, Brian Clark, Steven Clark, Wade Swindol, and Drew Peacock.

Christine Bingham Donahoo
(February 2, 1928 - October 5, 2008)
Funeral services for Christine Bingham Donahoo of Winona are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, at Oliver Chapel in Winona, with Rev. Jerry McNeer and Rev. Daniel Yowell officiating. Burial will follow in Community Baptist Church cemetery near Kilmichael. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Donahoo died of cancer on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at Winona Manor Nursing Home in Winona. She was 80 years old.
Mrs. Donahoo was the daughter of the late Jesse Walter Bingham and the late Willie Esma Crook Bingham. She was a retired sales clerk for J. C. Penney and a member of Community Baptist Church near Kilmichael. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one grandson, one sister, and two brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Calvin "Pete" Donahoo of Winona; two daughters, Rena' Herbison of Cleveland and Tanya Yowell of Chester Gap, Virginia; two sons, Danny Donahoo of Winona and Billy Donahoo of Winona; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Yowell, Blake Yowell, Mike Saxon, Kippy Kemp, Jimmy Donahoo, Shea Donahoo, and Jesse Bingham. Honorary pallbearers are Wyliss Kemp, Jerry Donahoo, Charles McCrary, and Harold Donahoo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Baptist Church cemetery Fund.

Lucas Shawn Leach Thompson
(November 23, 1983 - December 6, 2008)
Funeral services for Lucas Shawn Leach Thompson of Stewart are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, at Hebron Baptist Church near Vaiden, with burial following in the church cemetery. Mr. Randy Dees will officiate the services. Visitation will be Monday, December 8, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson died of complications from Muscular Dystrophy on Saturday, December 6, 2008, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was 25 years old.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his parents, Ricky and Debbie Thompson of Stewart; and three sisters, Kimberly Hubbard of Stewart, Karrie Jones of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Kasey Kelly of Stewart.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hubbard, Robbie Dossett, Jamie Thompson, Dickie leach, Elissa Dean, and Brad Mims.

Josephine C. Willingham
(October 18, 1925 - October 28, 2010)
Graveside funeral services for Josephine C. Willingham of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Vaiden, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 31, at Vaiden cemetery in Vaiden, with Logan Collins officiating.
Mrs. Willingham died of heart failure at Maplewood Nursing Home in Jackson, Tennessee, on Thursday, October 28, 2010. She was 85 years old.
Mrs. Willingham was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Guy Collins, and the widow of the late Charles Willingham. She was a retired employee of First Tennessee Bank and a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Tennessee.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 31, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.

Roy Franklin Briscoe
(June 1, 1936 - September 10, 2011)
Funeral services for Roy Franklin Briscoe of Senatobia will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, at Oliver Chapel, with burial following in the Duck Hill cemetery in Duck Hill. Dr. Tommy Vinson will officiate the services.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 12, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home; and on Tuesday, from 1:00 until service time at the funeral home.
Mr. Briscoe died on Saturday, September 10, at the State Veterans Home in Oxford. He was 75 years old.
Mr. Briscoe was the son of the late Will and Minnie May Briscoe. He was a retired elevator service foreman, having worked for 36 years for Thyssen Krupp, formerly Dover Elevator Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Coldwater and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, training as an aircraft mechanic. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Callie Briscoe of Senatobia; two sons, Keith Briscoe and his wife, Beverly, of Como and Kevin Briscoe and his wife, Pam, of Hernando; four grandchildren, Erin, Eric, Anna Claire, and John Thomas Briscoe; three nieces and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be James Butler, Jerry Blaylock, Tommy Blaylock, Frank Stanton, Hugh Ferguson, and Billy Joe Ferguson. Mr. Briscoe's grandchildren will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 318, Memphis, TN 38101; or to the Duck Hill cemetery Fund, c/o Regions Bank, Duck Hill, MS 38925.
