Ida Jane Parker Campbell
KANNAPOLIS - Ida Jane Parker Campbell, 92, 911 Cub St., died Friday (July 30, 1999) at NorthEast Medical Center.
Born March 3, 1907, in Iredell County, Mrs. Campbell was the daughter of the late Mary Talbert Parker and the late William Sloan Parker.
Mrs. Campbell retired from Cannon Mills Co. in 1968.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Campbell.
Survivors include daughter Daisy Shue, Kannapolis; sister Flonnie Carpenter, Asheville; and sister Bessie Derry, Kannapolis.
Services: 11: 00 a.m. Monday at Whitley’s Funeral Home Chapel in Kannapolis, conducted by the Rev. James Masters. Burial, West Lawn Memorial Park, China Grove.
Visitation: 10-11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
John David Kluttz
CRYSTAL, Nev. — John David Kluttz, 56, of Salisbury, N.C., died Thursday (July 29, 1999) in Crystal as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Alice Milam Morrison
CONCORD - Alice Milam Morrison, 83, 36 Georgia St., died Friday (July 30, 1999) at the Concord Nursing Center.
Born September 18, 1915, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Morrison was the daughter of the late Tina Scott Wingate and the late C.C. Wingate.
Former owner of Al-Mar Ceramics in Concord, she was a retired employee of Cannon Mills Co. Wash Cloth Department. She was a lifelong member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir for many years.
Survivors include husband, James R. (Jack) Morrison; daughter Marcia M. Meadows, Mt. Holly; son Charles W. Morrison, Oakgrove, Ky.; sisters Colleen Andrews and Sara Hicks, both of Concord; brother Chic Wingate, Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Services: 3 p.m. , today, Forest Hills United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Michael D. Kurtz and the Rev. Susan German. Burial, Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. last night, Whitley’s Funeral Home, Kannapolis.

W. Talmadge Shuford IV
ORLANDO, Fla. ~ William Talmage Shuford IV, 11 months, Lillian Drive, died Friday (July 30, 1999) in Orlando.
Born Aug. 29, 1998, in Orlando, he was the son of Tal and Charmon Shuford and was a member of Orlando Community Church. His father was formerly of Salisbury.
Survivors include paternal grandmother Christine Wagoner Rich, New Smyrna Beach, formerly of Salisbury; step-grandfather Frank Rich, New Smyrna Beach; paternal grandfather, Tam Shuford, Winter Park, formerly of Salisbury; step-grandmother, Pat Shuford, Winter Park; maternal grandfather Dennis Cone, Winter Park; maternal grandmother Gayle Cone, Altamonte Springs; paternal great-grandmother Ellese Wagoner, Salisbury; maternal great-grandparents Marvin D. and Catherine Quigley, Winter Garden.
Services: Memorial service Tuesday at 12: 10 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 106 E. Church St., Orlando, conducted by John Christiansen.

Jerry Franklin Keller
ADVANCE ~ Jerry Franklin Keller, 57, Beauchamp Road, died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice/Home, Winston-Salem, after several months of declining health.
Born Dec. 26, 1941, in Davie County, Mr. Keller was a son of Nan Beauchamp Keller, Mocksville, and the late William V. ``Buck’’ Keller. He retired in 1997 from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co., and was a member of Redland Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include wife Carlius Hellard Keller; and son David Keller, Advance.
Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Redland Pentecostal Holiness Church, by the Rev. Joel Boyles. Burial will be in church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1: 30 p.m.

KANNAPOLIS ~ William Cecil Carter, 81, 2100 Temple St., died today (Aug. 2, 1999) at NorthEast Medical Center.

Ann Yarbrough Bradshaw
MOCKSVILLE ~ Ann Yarbrough Bradshaw, 80, Lakewood Drive, died Sunday, (Aug. 1, 1999) at her home following several months of declining health.
Born Jan. 1, 1919, in Gibson County, Tenn., Mrs. Bradshaw was a daughter of the late Minty Greer and James Edward Yarbrough. She had retired from Continental Can Co. after 32 years of service. She was a member of the Church of Christ and a two-time winner in the National Cooking Contest sponsored by Pillsbury.
Her husband, Robert Pinkney Bradshaw, died in 1992. She was also preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include sons Joe Earl Nettles, Mocksville, and Edward Thomas Nettles, Yadkinville; seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Eaton Funeral Chapel, conducted by David Powell of North Main Street Church of Christ. Burial will be in Rowan Memorial Park.
Visitation: 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, Eaton Funeral Home.

Mamie Cooke
The funeral will be Wednesday for Mamie Lee Wilkerson Cooke, 82, who died Saturday (July 31, 1999) at Genesis Elder Care.
Born Aug. 18, 1916 in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Cooke was a daughter of the late Pearl Weathers and Luther Wilkerson. Educated in the Rowan County schools, she had retired as a cook with the Rowan County schools. She was a member of First Congregational Church, Mount Pleasant.
Her husband, William Alphonso Cooke, died May 8, 1979.
Survivors include daughter Joyce Holmes, Salisbury; brother Samuel Sherrill, Landis; and one grandchild.
Services: Noon Wednesday at Rowan Funeral Service. Burial in the Salisbury National Cemetery.

Alene Kimball Evans
The funeral will be Wednesday for Alene Kimball Evans, 86, who died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) at Genesis Elder Care after a year of declining health.
Born Feb. 12, 1913, in Rowan County, Mrs. Evans was a daughter of the lae Ida Meatta Misenheimer and William Walter Kimball. A homemaker, she was educated in the Rowan County schools. She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Ladies Sunday Class and the Rufty-Holmes Hat Band.
Her first husband, Fred William Watson, and her second husband, Gregg Robert Evans, preceded her in deth.
Survivors include stepsons Harvey A. Evans, Valdese, Aldolph ‘’Al’’ Evans, Orlando, Fla., Gregg Robert Evans Jr., Woodleaf, and Dennis W. Evans, Harrison, Ark.; daughters Daryce Evans Rimmer and Judy Watson Earnhardt, both of Salisbury; stepdaughters, Leretta Evans Naile, Springfield, Mo., Jo Ann Evans Safley, Salisbury, Delores Evans Waggoner, Mount Ulla, Helen Evans Meares, Nokesville, Va., and Julia Evans Barrette, Kennesaw, Ga.; 28 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Willliam R. Ragsdale, Main Street United Methodist Church. Burial in Rowan Memorial Park.

Bryan Patrick DeHart
Bryan Patrick DeHart, 17, of 110 Courtney Lane, died Sunday (Aug. 1, 1999) in a drowning accident.
Born Oct. 1, 1981, in Beckley, W.Va., he was the son of Johnny Keen and Sherry and Robert Clark, all of Salisbury.
Mr. DeHart attended West Rowan High School and worked for Johnny’s Muffler Shop.
In addition to his parents, survivors include brothers Joshua and Johnny Lee DeHart, both of Salisbury, and Robert Clark II, Kannapolis; paternal grandmother Sue Christian, and step-grandfather, Eddie Christian, both of Narrows, Va; step-grandmother Myrtle Keen, Tennessee; maternal grandparents Brady and Geraldine Smith, Dover, Tenn.; paternal grandparents Bernard and Kay DeHart, Fayetteville, W.Va.; and step-grandparents, James Clark and Elizabeth Langston, Philadelphia.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Garwood Church of God, Garwood, W.Va., conducted by the Rev. Charles Bullins. Burial, Milam Cemetery.
