Murray Gray Davis, 83, of 2512 Auburn-Knightdale Road, died Friday evening, June 17, 2005, at Wake Medical Center. Mr. Davis was born in Martin County on June 21, 1921 to the late William Mack and Lula Davis. He had retired from Wake County Public Schools with the maintenance department. Mr. Davis served his country in the Navy during World War II.

Walter Harold Davis, 80, of 1111 Hodge Road, died Friday, June 3, 2005 at his home. Walter was born December 7, 1924 in Johnston County to the late C.J. Davis and Verna Stephenson Davis. He served his country in the US Army in World War II, and retired from N.C. State University in the crop science department with 40 years of service. Walter was a member of Beacon Baptist Church.

Entombment: Montlawn Memorial Park with military honors.

Raleigh - Lecolia Liles Edwards, 91, of 3633 Tarheel Club Road, died Wednesday, June 1, 2005. Lecolia was born in Wake County on April 11, 1914 to the late Burtis Liles and Manie Massey Liles. She worked for 20 years at Rex Hospital as a Nursing Assistant.

Surviving: Sisters, Edna Liles Taylor of Raleigh, Marguerite Liles LaCounte of Knightdale; Several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Lecolia was preceded in death by her husband, Zachariah Allison Edwards.

Harvey Reginald Hocutt, Jr., “CODY BLUE”, 53, of 154 Highway 68, of Jackson, Louisiana, died May 31, 2005 at Earl K. Long Medical Center. Harvey, Jr. was born on March 4, 1952 to the late Harvey Reginald Hocutt, Sr. and Mary Hocutt Hocutt. He was a retired cab owner and driver in the Baton Rouge area.

Dorothy was born in Wake County on July 1, 1919 to the late David Hudson Liles and Lillie Mae Taylor Liles. Dorothy worked as a Sales Clerk with Hudson Belk and was a member of Wake Cross Roads Baptist Church.

Jessie Lee Smith Pate, 94, of Morningside of Raleigh, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Rex Healthcare. Mrs. Pate was born on May 14, 1911 in Harnett County to the late William Henry Smith and Margaret Alice Baugh Smith. She graduated from Millbrook High School in 1931. Mrs. Pate retired with the N.C. State Board of Health in Vital Statistics. She was a member of Hayes Barton Baptist Church.
Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at L. Harold Poole funeral service Chapel with Reverend Tom Bodkin officiating.
