Mary Sue Satterfield Wadford, 75, of Rolesville, formerly of Asheville, died Saturday, February 19, 2005, at Franklin Regional Hospital in Louisburg. funeral service was Monday, February 21, at Bright Funeral Home chapel, Wake Forest. Burial was at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Asheville.
She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Mary Inez Jones Satterfield and Raeford Satterfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Richard Wadford Sr.; and brother, James Satterfield.
Surviving: daughters, Cindy Hall of Wake Forest, Kim Hipp and husband Derrick of Asheville; son, Ricky Wadford and wife Helen of Louisburg; sister, Bobbie Lou Sellars of Wilmington; grandchildren, Chris Wadford, Tina Sykora, Summer Masters, Chase Hall, Seth Hall, Shawn Hipp; great-grandchildren, Megan Glover, Dillon Sykora, Shelby Sykora.

Thaddie Mae Marshall, 72, of Wake Forest, died Monday, February 14, 2005, at WakeMed. funeral service was Thursday, February 17, at Bright Funeral Home chapel, Wake Forest. Burial was in Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Wake County and was retired from Westinghouse in Raleigh, now known as ABB. She was preceded in death by her father, Joyh Albert Marshall.
Surviving: mother, Lantie Marshall of Wake Forest; sister, Betty Lockleair and husband Hutch of Zebulon; brothers, Lawrence Marshall, Charles Marshall and Donnie Marshall, all of Wake Forest; nieces, Linda Lockleair of Zebulon, Deborah Lambert and husband Richard of Zebulon, Tanya Marshall of Youngsville; nephew, Bert Marshall and wife Wanda of Wake Forest; one great-niece; one great-nephew; three great-great-nieces.

Douglas J. Trapp
Douglas J. Trapp, 57, of Wendell, died Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at his home. funeral service was Saturday, February 19, at William Toney's Funeral Home chapel, Zebulon.
A lifelong resident of Wendell, he attended James E. Shepard High School, served in the Army for three years, and returned home where he was disabled in an auto accident. He was preceded in death by his father, Junious Trapp.
Surviving: mother, Gracie Trapp; brothers, Leon Trapp (Mary), Gregory Trapp (Erika); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and an uncle.
Mildred Byrd Pollard
Mildred Byrd Pollard, 78, of Benson, died Thursday, February 17, 2005. funeral service was Saturday, February 19, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home chapel, Benson. Burial was in the Dixon family cemetery.
She was born Aug. 30, 1926, in Johnston County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie J. Pollard. She was a retired nursing assistant and homemaker.
Surviving: daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Ira Lee Mitchell of Benson, Jean and D.H. Price of Wendell, Nancy and Bruce Parrish of Benson, Vonya and Donald Puckett of Benson; sons and daughters-in-law, James C. and Ann Pollard, and Steve and Andrea Southers of Benson; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Lois Faye Perry Price
Lois Faye Perry Price, 65, of Wanmar Lake Selbyville, Del., died Tuesday, February 15, 2005, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md. funeral service was Saturday, February 19, at Bright Funeral Home chapel, Wake Forest. Burial was in Rolesville Baptist Church cemetery.
She was born in Wake County, daughter of the late Faye Weathers Perry and Horace Ephriam "H.E." Perry Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Price. She graduated from Rolesville High School in 1957. She attended Louisburg College, N.C. State University and Atlantic Christian College where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees. She taught at Angier High School, Smithfield High School and Falls Church High School in Falls Church, Va. After retiring from teaching, she worked for the transportation department in Ocean City, Md.
Surviving: longtime companion, Marsha Renfrow of the residence; son, Robert Price of Ocean View, Del.; daughter, LeAnn Price of Ocean City, Md.; sisters, Kaye Wall of Rolesville, Lynne P. Wall and husband Andy of Kill Devil Hills; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and adopted grandchildren.

Marion Louise Fortner, 81, of Spring Hope, died Wednesday, February 16, 2005, surrounded by her family. Memorial service was Sunday, February 20, at Bright Funeral Home chapel, Wake Forest.
She was born in Binghamton, N.Y., the daughter of the late Hazel Bell Sprester Russell and Horace VanRensalear Russell. She was preceded in death by a son, Edward Fortner.
Surviving: husband, Albert Charles Fortner Sr.; daughters, B.J. Howell of Wendell, Dawn Quail of Burdett, N.Y.; sons, Albert Charles Fortner Jr. of Bailey, Clair Fortner of Kasson, Minn.; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was born in West Virginia, daughter of the late Ida Boner Rider and David Lee Rider. She was retired from the N.C. Department of Revenue. She was married to James Richard Trent who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, James Michael Cutlip.
Surviving: daughter, Dixie Trent Cutlip of Burlington, Patricia Avsec of Winter Haven, Fla., Sandra Trent Watkins of Zebulon; son, Larry Richard Trent of Knightdale; sisters, Millie Sparks, Doris Mourey and Beulah Branham, all of Summersville, W.Va., Bernice Rader of Cleveland, Ohio; brother, Harry Rider of Florsville, Texas; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
