Annie Lee Pulley
Annie Lee Pulley, 87, of Raleigh, died Friday, February 4, 2005, at Duke Health Raleigh Hospital surrounded by her family. funeral service was Monday, February 7, at Montlawn Funeral Home chapel. Burial was at Montlawn Memorial Park.
A native of Wake County, she was born January 31, 1918, to Frank and Annie Marshall Bobbitt. She was a longtime member of Longview Baptist Church.
Surviving: husband of 60 years, Joe Nathan Pulley; daughter, Phyllis Pulley of Raleigh; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Proctor Lee Hopkins of Zebulon; brothers and sister-in-law, Edward and Phyllis Pulley, and Janie Pulley, all of Rolesville, Lila Gray and Daniel Driver of Winston-Salem, Barbara Pulley of Warsaw, Clarence Fleming and Bill Matthews, both of Raleigh; several nieces and nephews.
Shirley McGraw Hinton
Shirley McGraw Hinton, 82, of Middlesex, died Wednesday, February 2, 2005. funeral service was Saturday, February 5, at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Born in Glen Fork, W.Va., May 8, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Robert William and Rebecca Farmer McGraw. Her husband was the late V.A. Hinton. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and a member of the Zebulon chapter of the Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving: son, Lee McGraw of Middlesex; stepson, John Gruber of Kansas; brother, Gene McGraw of Poquoson, Va.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

Audrey W. Boykin
Audrey W. Boykin, 89, of Kenly, died Sunday evening, February 6, 2005, at her home. funeral service was Wednesday, February 9, at Coley Funeral Home chapel. Burial was at Kenly Cemetery.
She was a lifelong resident of Kenly and was a member of Kenly Free Will Baptist Church. She was the widow of Eddie Barnes Boykin who died in 1975. Throughout her life, she was active in the Kenly community, being involved in many school, church and civic activities.

Born July 11, 1927, she was a native of Johnston County. She was the daughter of the late Josiah and Lula Mae Gifford, and was the youngest of 12 children. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Keith Starling and Ray P. Oliver. She was a homemaker and a member of Whitehead's Grove Baptist Church in Smithfield, Va.

Willie Sanford "Bill" Thomasson
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA. - Willie Sanford "Bill" Thomasson, 77, died December 15, 2007, at Mary Washington Hospital. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 2, at 1:00 p.m. at Berea Baptist Church. Burial will take place at a later date.
He was born in North Carolina, son of the late Weldon and Julie Thomasson. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for 31 years. He was a member of Berea Baptist Church, International Union of Operating Engineers Local 77 and Berea's singing group. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vida Mae Thomasson; three brothers; and a sister.
Surviving: sons, Robert S. Thomasson and wife Teresa of Florida, Ronald A. Thomasson and wife Sandra of Louisa, Weldon F. Thomasson and wife Doreen of Stafford County, Lawrence E. Thomasson and wife Kathleen of Crofton, Md.; sisters, Mary Rachel Potter and Darathy Mae Guillespie, both of North Carolina, Clara Louise Hamlin of Virginia; brothers, Edgar Allen Thomasson and Mahlon Russel Thomasson, both of North Carolina, Henry Grady Thomasson and Bernard Alderson Thomasson, both of Indiana; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
