Born in Wayne Co., she is the daughter of the late Rachel McDaniel Flow and Horace Battle.
Life Celebration Service will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gospel Light United Holy Church. Burial will follow in Carver Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish loving memories to her children, Angel (Jawad) Williams of Durham, April Flow of Garner, Kristy (Kevin Carr) Flow of Mt. Olive and Marcus Flow of Dudley; six grandchildren; five sisters, Wanda Flow of Dudley, Donna Flow of Dudley, Sharon Williams of Goldsboro, Ann (Alfonzo) Kornegay of Dudley and Katherine (Ignatius) Igbokwe of Dudley; six brothers, Pastor Anthony (Vickie) Flow of Mt. Olive, Robbie (Robin) Flow of Clayton, Michael Flow of Mt. Olive, William Battle of Dudley, Horace (Neicy) Battle of Mt. Olive, and Larry D. Williams of Greenville, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents she has been reunited with her brother, Darryl Washington.
Viewing will be held Sunday from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be present from 6:00-7:00 p.m. to receive friends and at other times at 113 Georgia Farms Drive, Dudley.

Warsaw - Mr. Lonza Lamar Moore of 136 Kings Court died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at Vidant Hospital, Greenville, NC.
He is the son of Margaret Moore McKiver and the late Robert Henry Moore and was born
on October 10, 1949 in Duplin County.
funeral service will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Warsaw with Rev. Theodore Thomas, officiating. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens.
He leaves to cherish loving memories to his wife, Doris Moore of the home; mother, Margaret Moore McKiver of Warsaw; three sons, Lonza (Marilyn) Moore Jr., Tony (Latika) Moore and Travis Moore of Warsaw; one grandson, Sahmad Moore of Warsaw; three sisters, Patricia Watford of Capitol Heights, MD, Earlean (Albert) Rivers and Betty(A'ndre) Smith of Warsaw, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Garris Funeral Home Chapel and one hour prior to funeral service at the church.

Born in Duplin Co., he is the son of the late Aaron and Elizabeth Phillips Carlton.
funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Payne Temple AME Zion Church with Rev. James Jackson, officiating. Entombment will follow in Devotional Gardens.
He leaves to cherish loving memories to his children, Bobby Ray Carlton of Mt. Olive, Robert Faison of New Castle, Delaware; Annie Carol Simmons and Joyce Faye Darden of Mt. Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late James and Lizzie Bizzell Pearsall.
Life Celebration Service will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Jerusalem FWB Church with Elder Dexter Waters, officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday at First Baptist Church, Turkey, NC at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Rogers officiating.
Viewing will be held Friday from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. with the family present to receive friends at this time.
The family will receive friends at 542 Revelle Rd. Warsaw.

Mr. Geoffrey Kenan, of 3230 Mosely Drive Greenville, (formerly of Chinquapin), died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at his residence.
He is the son of the late Early C. Kenans Sr. and Gertrude Pickett Kenan and was born
in Duplin County on June 2, 1966.
He leaves to cherish his love and legacy to his wife, Deborah Witcher Kenan; siblings, Jacqueline Griffin (Nathaniel) of Raleigh, Janice Sutton (William) of Greensboro, Early Kenan Sr. (Jinx) of Burlington, Noreen Graham (Jackie) of Chinquapin, Myron Kenan (Renee) of High Point, Terence Kenan (Gloria) of Chinquapin and Sophia Cameron (Kevin) of Holly Springs; his mother-in-law, Elizabeth Witcher; sister-in-law, Jean Hunter (Michael); brothers-in-law, Ricky Witcher (Radonna) and Jonathan Witcher; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Chinquapin, 3882 S. NC 50 Hwy. with Rev. Daryl Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in the Batts Cemetery, Chinquapin.

"Peaches" as he was affectionally called by family and friends was born
on July 4, 1965 in Orange County to his parents, Ida Almond Stewart and the late Joseph Stewart Sr.

Born in Duplin Co., she is the daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Graham Jones.
Homegoing Services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church Kenansville with Rev. Cornelius Moore, officiating. Burial will follow in Middleton Cemetery.
Cherished memories will linger in the hearts of her daughter, Bettie Dewitt of the home; Quanteel Jones, (a daughter that she raised as her own) of Raleigh, two sisters, Mary M. Jones of Kenansville and Annie Jones Smith of Durham; sisters-in-law, Alma Jones of Chinquapin and Lottie Jones of Philadelphia, PA; Godsons, Ronald Frederick and Rudolph Davis; nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Gernice Artis and a host of other relatives and friends.
