Robert Biddle
No services will be held for Robert Calvin Biddle, 93, who passed away Feb. 3 in Pahrump.
He was born Sept. 30, 1911 in Bremen, Ohio, to Harry Biddle and Mabel Brister.
He was self-employed in the restaurant business before retiring. He lived in Ohio, Kansas, Oklahoma, California, Washington and Las Vegas before settling in Pahrump in 2003.
His sons Robert Victor of Pahrump and Howard Joseph of Redwood City, Calif.; sisters Maxine Maier and Genevalin Atkinson, both of Tucson; eight grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, survive him.
His wife of 33 years, Elsie Cockrum, and his wife of 37 years, Ruth Brown, preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity.

Hollis Mulcahy
Services have been held for Hollis Arthur Mulcahy, 71, who passed away Feb. 2 in Las Vegas.
He was born March 13, 1932 in Orange, Calif., and moved to Pahrump in 1997 coming from Madera, Calif.
He married
his wife, Mary Ann, on Jan. 25, 1958. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was a member of Old West Lodge No. 813, Newhall, Calif.; Pahrump Lodge No. 54; Order of the Eastern Star, Old West Chapter No. 643, Newhall and Stardust Chapter No. 32, Pahrump; Scottish Rite Masons of Las Vegas; York Rite Masons of Las Vegas; and Zelzah Shrine of Las Vegas.
He enjoyed traveling in his RV and being with family and friends.
His wife Mary Ann of Pahrump; daughters Lynn (Frank) Bachand of Connecticut, Patricia (Nazario) Munoz and Barbara (Michael) Savage, both of California; brother Michael (Betty) Mulcahy; 11 grandchildren; three nieces; and 13 great nieces and nephews survive him.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Leigh Mulcahy, and aunt and uncle George Hollis and Pearl Everette.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals or UNR cancer research in Reno.

Mindy Russell
Services have been held for Mindy Russell, 50, who passed away Jan. 28 in Las Vegas.
She was born Dec. 13, 1954 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a two-year resident of Pahrump.
She was a nutritional products salesperson and also worked for No To Abuse in Pahrump.
Her companion, Darrell Hill of Oceanside, Calif.; children Mike Russell and Pamela Armstrong; brother Rubin Russell; sisters Marianne Bob and Rosalind Mamet; and grandchildren Tavvi Armstrong and Shoshanna Armstrong survive her.
Her father, Jay Russell, and mother, Sylvia Russell, preceded her in death.

William Schockley
Services for William H. Schockley, 80, who passed away Feb. 3 in Pahrump, will be held at 12:40 p.m. Thursday at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial cemetery in Boulder City.
He was born March 15, 1924 in Arkansas, and moved to Pahrump 25 years ago from Flint, Mich.
He graduated from Flushing Michigan High School in 1942. He served in the U.S. Navy as a combat air crewman during World War II and ready reserve in the Korean War. He attended General Motors Institute and retired from General Motors in 1979 as a senior tool and die designer.
He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Masonic Lodge, a member the American Legion Scottish Rite Lodge, the National Rifle Association, Senior Friends, the AARP, and the Methodist Church of Pahrump.
His son Bruce of East Prairie, Mo.; daughter Roxann Houser of Pahrump; special friend Bessie of Pahrump; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren survive him.
His wife, EmmaJean, preceded him in death.

Lucille Stout
Services are pending for Lucille J. Stout, 70, who passed away Feb. 5 in Pahrump.
She was born June 2, 1934 in Wisconsin, and moved to Pahrump three years ago from Bandon, Ore. She was a homemaker.
Her sons David Lockman of Arkansas and Mike Lockman of Wisconsin; daughters Marie Dyerson of Colorado and Margaret Rodriguez of Pahrump; sisters Dolores Pusel and Edna Fakes, both of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren survive her.
Her husband, Jim Stout, and brother, Louis "Jack" Pusel, preceded her in death.
The family wishes to thank Nathan Adelson Hospice and Evergreen at Pahrump for the wonderful care they provided.

Max Hendrickson
A memorial service for Max Hendrickson, 87, who passed away Dec. 23, 2004 in Las Vegas, will be held Feb. 27 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Carol LaBate in Connecticut. There will be 40 relatives and friends attending.
He was born Aug. 30, 1917 in Illinois. He was a resident of Pahrump for 11 years, coming from California.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, and then worked in the aircraft industry before retiring.
His son Richard N. Hendrickson of Illinois; daughters Carol LaBate of Connecticut and Donna Potillo of New York; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive him.

Julia Pennock
Private family services will be held for Julia V. Pennock, 88, who passed away March 20 in Las Vegas.
She was born May 30, 1916 in Edison, Neb., and moved to Pahrump 10 years ago from Las Vegas.
She was employed as a teacher until retiring in 1979.
Her sons Lloyd Pennock of Nevada, Jim Pennock of Florida and Bill Penncok of California; daughter Marilyn Caberet of California; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild survive her.
Her husband and one brother preceded her in death.

Bertha Hall
Services for Bertha Katrina Smith Hall, 74, who passed away March 21 in Pahrump, will be held from 3-4 p.m. at the LDS Church on Wilson Road.
She was born April 21, 1930 in Carruthers, Calif., and was a resident of Pahrump for 12 years, coming from Green River, Utah.
She was a member of the LDS Church and Republican Women. She also enjoyed many hobbies including quilting and sewing.
Her husband of 55 years, Vernon A. Hall of Pahrump; daughters LaRee Lindgren-Mebus of Pahrump, Verlynn Nieto of Waynesboro, Va., and Ervonne Gorsching of Taft, Calif.; sons Vernon Kay Hall and Virgil Asay Hall, both of Hominy, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren survive her.
Her son, Roger Clinton Hall, and one grandson preceded her in death.

Mary Smith
Services are pending for Mary Smith, 71, who passed away March 23 in Pahrump.
She was born Dec. 6, 1933 in Kentucky, and moved to Pahrump nine years ago, coming from Las Vegas.
She worked as a supervisor for Levi Strauss and was of the Baptist faith.
Her son Jim (Lelian) Smith of Pahrump, sister Minnie Bell of Indiana, six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren survive her.
Her parents, daughter, brother and sisters preceded her in death.

Winifred Clark
Winifred (Betty) Clark passed away March 23 at her home in Pahrump, with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Eureka, Calif., and lived in Pahrump for more than 20 years. She was an active member of the Eastern Star for many years.
Her sons Bob (Vickie) Clark and Bill (Karen) Clark, both of Pahrump; daughters Daphna (Ron) Leuenberger of Poulsbo, Wash., Evelyn Padgett of Cloverdale, Calif., and Karen (Mike) Mills of Rio Vista, Calif.; grandchildren Denise Koch, Rene Clark and Sean Clark, all of Las Vegas, Kristi Galloway of Windsor, Calif., Fred Leuenberger, Brian Padgett, and Nikki and Erica Clark, all of Santa Rosa, Calif., Marilyn Simington of Cloverdale, Calif., Brandon Clark of Mesquite, and Travis Mills, Cassy Arellano and Lora Mills, all of Rio Vista, Calif.; and 18 great grandchildren survive her.
She will be laid to rest in Arcata, Calif.
