CHERREN Charles Cherren, Jr., age 74, passed away February 5, 2001. He is survived by wife, Frances; sons, Anthony (Pauletta) Cherren, Steve (Debbie) Cherren, Mike (Becky) Cherren; daughters, Debra (Mike) McKeska, Connie Cherren Hatfield; brothers, Donald Clark and Edward Clark; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Member of South Columbus Freewill Baptist Church. WW II Veteran. Retired from Owens Illinois after 26 years. Loved gardening. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. DOUPLE Barrie Ann (Ramage) Douple, age 38, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2001, from liver cancer. She was a leader of Brownie Troop #236 for 2 years, a volunteer for Adventures for Wish Kids for 3 years, and worked for Corvette Corner since 1982. She was an avid scrapbooker since 1997, and enjoyed trips to the local scrapbook stores. She is survived by her husband of 8 years and partner for life, Bryan; mother, Ollie; father and step-mother, Kenneth and Lynda Ramage; sisters, Jerri (Michael) Shafer, Lori (Ronald) Karn; nieces and nephews, Brittany, Jason, Sean, Kelly, Ryan, Rachel, Emily, Jordan; mother and father-in-law, Stanley and Gladys Douple; pets, Shadow, Shelby, Bones; and many other special friends and loved ones. Her family will receive friends Wednesday 6-9 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where her service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to Adventures for Wish Kids, 2097 S. EVANS Eric D. Evans, age 21, of Whitehall, called by his Lord to be with Him Tuesday. Born September 26, 1979. Graduate Whitehall Yearling High School, Class of 1999. Employee Kroger Warehouse. Member Faith Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by grandmothers Madeline Evans and Ada Wagner, aunt Carolyn Powers. Survived by loving and devoted parents, Harrison and Freda Evans; beloved sister, Amy Evans; aunts and uncles, Ellen and Richard Evans of Columbus, Steve Powers of Columbus, Robert Evans of Newark, Sara Behney of Harrisburg, Oh., Marilyn Roy of Sarasota, Fla., Emil and Karen Wagner of St. Louis, Jerry and Judy Doner of Stoutsville, Oh., David Doner of Amanda, Oh.; cousins, Matt and Dan Wagner of St. Louis; friends, neighbors and co-workers. FULAYTOR (BROOKS) Frances C. "Tody" Fulaytor, age 83, Sunday February 4, 2001, at her residence. Lovingly known to many as "Nana". Past member of St. Mary Church, German Village and the Womens Club of St. Mary. Current member of the Church of the Ascension. Preceded in death by husbands Herbert J. Brooks and Robert Fulaytor. GRIFFIN JR. MD William R. Griffin Jr., MD, age 65, Tuesday, Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Born in Columbus. Graduate Columbus Academy, Class of 1953 serving as president of the school and playing varsity football. Graduate The Ohio State University with a bachelors of science in pre-med, Class of 1957; graduate The Ohio State University Medical School, Class of 1961. Completed his residency at Mt. Carmel Hospital where he was chief resident. Physician specializing in internal medicine. Retired from private practice. Affiliated with Mt. Carmel East Hospital, Mt. Carmel Medical Center, St. Ann's Hospital and Grant Medical Center, where he served on a number of boards. For a number of years served as a medical director at Buckeye Steel, Bordens and Federal Glass. Member St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, Alpha Kappa Kappa Medical Fraternity, Bexley Pistol Club, Ohio National Guard, Ohio National Guard Rifle Team, Moose Lodge #1427 Worthington Chapter and American Medical Association. Survived by loving wife of 25 years, Sandra Lutz Griffin; son, Cole Shawn Griffin; sister, Ann (Thomas) Turpie-Hooker; nephew, Keith (Belinda) Turpie Jr.; niece, Sheryl (Robert) Turpie-Munoz; several other relatives and friends. Leaves to mourn his loving wife of 52 years, Mrs. Betty Jane Harris; also daughters, Tina (Carl Hester), Barbara Jean (McAdoo); son, Issac Lee; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, DeMonte, DeMyra, D. JoAnn; special friend ex-son-in-law, Carl Hester, Sr. Special friend of Mt. Gerizim. Faithful member of Mt. Gerizim where he served on the Deacon Board and Male Chorus. U.S. Army Veteran. HYSLOP Andrew Hyslop, age 93, died February 5, 2001 at the Convalarium at Indian Run. Formerly a resident of St. Clairsville, Oh. Retired as chief engineer of Consolidated Coal Co. Chairman, National Mining Safety Council. Elder of Calvary United Presbyterian Church. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth; 7 children, Dr. Carol (Ron) Lebeiko of Dublin, Oh., Bruce (Jean) Hyslop of Hilliard, Oh., Dr. Grace (Adolph) Christ, New York City, N.Y., Ronald (Julia) Hyslop of Bethel Park, Pa., Cynthia (Blair Davis) Tinapple of Worthington, Oh., Joy (Ron) Harbert of St. Clairsville, Oh., Cheryl (Robert) Picha of Elmhurst, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sisters, Mary Hyslop and Florence Clarquist; many nieces and nephews. JAMES Betty L. James, age 64, Thursday, February 1, 2001 at Grant Medical Center. A former employee of the State of Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents Hammon and Katherine James. Survived by her loving son, Derrick (Jewel) James of Calif.; granddaughters, Tanisha, Candace and Courtney, all of Calif.; brother, Charles (Rose) James; aunt, Catherine James; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral 11 a.m. Thursday at the chapel of C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Derrick James, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service. KEITH Joan Keith, age 70, Monday, February 5, 2001 at Doctors Hospital West. Owner and operator of Guys & Gals Beauty Salon for many years. Preceded in death by parents Lessie and Pauline Morgan and brother Leslie E. Morgan. Survived by sister, Elaine Holland; sister-in-law, Cora Morgan; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL.

KERBER Donna Mae Kerber, 75, died February 4, 2001 in Sarasota, Fla. A graduate of Notre Dame College in Cleveland. She was associated with Lazarus Federated Department Stores (Kingsdale) for a number of years and a member of P.E.O. of Sarasota. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Jim, Professor Emeritus of The Ohio State University College of Education; 3 sons, Daniel (Sheila) of Detroit, Steven (Phyllis) and Thomas of Columbus; 3 daughters, Barbara of Sarasota, Nancy Baker (Patrick James) of Austin, Tex. and Gayle Brand (Max) of Columbus; 13 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Interment will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery of Sandusky, Oh. at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Kobacker House c/o Riverside Hospital.
